Then, were so impressed with their handling of the pandemic in 2020 (we experienced no "covid learning loss"), it was an easy decision to stay on for the primary grades. And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! They have a LOT of learning activities even in the short 9-1 day, plus playground time, lunch, and free play. He always wants to show me what he did that day before we even get to the car. His teacher is utterly fantastic and so professional with parents and fun with the kids. We are always greeted by more than one staffer on our way in and out of the building, usually referring to my son by name. TWCA is not just failing in their mission--it is actively harming those it is meant to serve. Education should inspire and uplift, not divide and exploit. Please do your research beyond what their fake advertisement leads you to believe. Good people do not graduate from The Woodlands "Christian" Academy after what these kids are put through and exposed to.
