I learned about the few pieces I have. Then the exhibit of the art of the Southwest and the Weitzenhoffer Collection displayed in recreations of their rooms. Well done university museum.

Worth noting: from the photographs, the art museum is getting reviews on this page for the natural history museum which is a few blocks away. It, however, is also fantastic and needs to better promote that it has the largest dinosaur fossil on exhibit in the United States. Bottom line: both museums are exceptional. Staff are fantastic. If I only had time to visit one, it would be the art museum but that is only due to personal preference. If you have time, stop in on both.

There was a few items that still needed to be properly set up. After we were met at the front desk a gentleman took us around to the lackluster exhibits. I can truly say this place is more of a joke then a museum. I am not sure how good it will be once I get this museum completed. They need to properly staff the museum with people know all about what is exhibited. I would not recommend this museum to anyone who wants a great experience. It was truly not properly set up or maned with a good staff that knew all about what was in this museum. Really not worth the money you have to pay.

The Oklahoma hall of fame is a great recognition of many great Oklahoma's.

James Garner was born here in Norman Oklahoma and still considered himself a native despite living in California for fifty years. I definitely recommend finding a seat under the tarp, it was comfortable there. The sun was beating down pretty hard and I think I would have gotten a sunburn if I hadn't of been under the shaded seats. The whole process from getting the tickets to getting off the boat was very smooth and easy. We paid $15 for a 45 min. Boat ride. Worth every penny! You can also bring your drinks aboard, which is nice.

It's a quick 30-45 minute water cruise on a man‑made canal that's only about 3-4 feet deep, so you definitely have to go in with the right mindset and make the best of it. Our taxi wasn't too crowded, and since we had time to kill, it ended up being a perfect, easy outing. Trying to avoid a crowded ride is definitely recommended. The ride doesn't stop, not that seen!
