Today my mind was changed when I received a return call from Independent Garage Doors. They even called me before working hours, which is great for me, because I am retired and get up early. John was so professional and listened to my concern with my LiftMaster. He actually gave me guidance over the phone and sent me a video from YouTube on how to fix it myself, based on the description I gave him of my concern. I am so excited now because it only took 2 1/2 minutes to watch the video and maybe one minute to repair it. Magick? I believe in it and finding this gem of a company was a magickal and enlightening way to begin today. This company will definitely be the first one. I call when my opener finally is no longer of this earthly vessel. I have been taken advantage of by small companies more than once in the last five years, and it's very refreshing to find an honest one.

John quickly put me down in his schedule the next day. My spring had broken, and a competing garage door service company had quoted me between $800-$1000 to fix it. John was, true to his company's name, in and out in half an hour, replacing the spring for $165 out the door. He went above and beyond by providing lubrication for the entire system, dramatically quieting its operation. The competing company would've charged $220 for that service alone. John was a consummate gentleman throughout the interaction, and since I support local, honest businesses, I hope he continues to get business. It is always possible that I may get what I paid for and have to replace it again, but this was a pleasant experience and I'm thankful to have John available in my area.
