We hired Timberline to remove a very large river birch and flush cut the stump. When Erich stopped by to look at the project and give us a quote, it was clear that he has many years of experience in tree care. We immediately received a quote and a date for the project. Timberline kept to that date and kept us updated as to their arrival time. We are very happy with the service we received from Erich and the crew (Jake, Julian, Neil G., Corey, Zachary, Neil A.) Everyone was very friendly and professional and we learned that some of the crew members had been with the company for nearly twenty years. They worked together seamlessly. They took great care around fencing, exposed sprinkler lines, and other trees. Flush cutting the stump was more difficult than expected but they did a great job, especially given the proximity to an above ground drip line. Recently had timberline tree services out to trim the trees at my house. Was incredibly helpful and reassuring that they have their technicians certified, even though the state does not require it. They make sure the tree is actually cut properly and will not harm the tree. If you want your trees to stay healthy and well maintained, they are a great option. read more

Great experience with Timberline. Arborist Erich was my contact and I was able to get an appointment in a couple of weeks for a tree removal and a mature tree trimming. The original quote was very reasonable (considering inflation issues currently) and was the same price as the final invoice, which was a surprise since the mature tree trimming was much more involved than originally spec'd. The crew worked for the better part of a day and they were very thoughtful and careful working in tight quarters around my house with big windows. After stump grinding the crew cleaned up everything and considering the large equipment used, left very little trace behind. Very happy with the level of service provided and will use them going forward for my tree maintenance needs. read more

Well, let me say I would like to give this company a 5-star review. So during the estimate, everything went really well. Pam the owner came out and visually inspected the tree to be pruned. ( I had conveyed to her I had some special needs regarding my neighbor and some limbs that were hanging over on his side needed to be addressed). Her price was a little bit higher than others but I felt she was sincere and professional. So I went with her company. So on the day of the move, Pam called and said that the crew would be a little bit late and wouldn't be there on time. I told her no problem I'll be waiting for them. Her crew arrived but she did not arrive. She said that she was backed up and wouldn't be there but her lead on the job would take care of me and to pay him. I'm totally ok with that. ( I was never under the impression she was gonna show up) So they started work and the crew was great and very professional and seem like they really knew what they were doing. The lead guy in the job came over to me and asked me what I thought about the tree pruning and I would like anything else done. We went out and took a look at it and I said well I was hoping to have a couple of little limbs snipped that was hanging over the fence into my nabours yard. He said no problem and preceded to climb up the tree again. The young man was very polite and concerned about my needs. A few minutes later I got a phone call from Pam the owner and ask me if the guys were gonna go back up the tree and I told her I had one more branch I wanted to be cut. She preceded to tell me that the guys had already cleaned up and she thought that the guys had done what we agreed to. ( remember she was not on site) I said they need to cut one small little branch first and then we'd be done, no big deal. And then out of nowhere, she said the guys had a big job the next day and needed to go. She said you don't have to pay them, you can just send them back. I thought that was real strange. (why would I not pay) I said I don't know why you're going there, I want to pay you and be done with the job. I told her that the crew still had the ropes in the tree and she said ok. So the guy hooked up to his rope and within probably 12 to 15 minutes, the small limb was cut and took it away. I went ahead and paid the foreman of the day and gave the crew $100 tip. The reason I left this Review is because I wanted people to know the pros and cons of this company. In summary, PRO'S I feel that they did a very good job. I have other trees to be pruned and would call them again because they did a good job. CON's They came late and was in a rush leave for next days job, so the boss wanted them to leave early. In the end, the owner had a bit of an attitude. She said that she believed they had done what we had agreed to. ( but she wasn't actually on the Job site to confirm that) I would recommend them. I know in the busy season things get really busy for this type of company. So I'll give her a pass on the attitude. They did a good job with the tree. read more

These folks did a great job taking down the tree in my front yard. I wanted them to leave a stump (fiancee wants to turn it into a flower bed) and they obliged. All I had to do was leave a ring of tape around the trunk where I wanted it cut down to and it was done. They came on a Wednesday morning (around 9 or 10) and were done by noon, including cleanup. My house is now visible, the entire street looks brighter and cleaner, and I don't have to rake up pine needles every weekend to keep my lawn alive. The only weird thing about these folks is that their address online and on their quote page didn't match up, so I hope we sent a check to the right place.. read more

Called 5 different tree services to evaluate the condition of a large silver maple tree in my front yard. Pam, a certified arborist, came out and evaluated the tree. Like the others, she recommended removal due to the extensive rot within the tree. She gave me a quote for the cutting down of the tree, removal of all debris and stump grinding. Eric called to schedule a time to get the work done. He and his crew arrived at 8:30 am like they said they would, they were very professional, courteous, hardworking and neat.
