This is not your typical sit down service breakfast place. More of the all in one homemade: sandwich, croissant, quiche and breakfast pastry items. The quality is incredible, on par with what a five star restaurant would serve. We had: kielbasa empanada, bacon and egg quiche, bacon, ham, egg and cheese croissant. We took the sweets to go, almond cigar, and chocolate croissant. You could not ask for more reasonable prices either. We wanted a break from cooking breakfast and couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to order from. We got a pretty wide variety and there wasn't a single thing that disappointed us. Just finished our lunch from Timbrook and it was very good. That would be our third trip here since our first visit a week ago! Today we had Crab Nixon Pie, turkey meatloaf panini, spinach and Kerry gold cheddar croissant (with ham), chicken artichoke pie, and corn chowder. We have also tried the bacon cheddar hash brown pie, salmon dill havarti pie, mushroom feta pie, croissant-wrapped kielbasa, spinach feta pie, potato soup, strawberry cream cheese pie, and key lime pie. Everything has tasted incredible. Savory and sweet, there are no misses so far on the menu -- all hits. If we were to nitpick, we like our soup thicker, but the flavors were bold and tasty. And we have at least half the menu to try yet, with new items to look forward to. Customer service is outstanding. Pay by credit or debit card and get your receipt via email. I wish I could give this place a higher rating because the food is outstanding, however I cannot. They are never open. They post on their Facebook page (when it hasn't been taken down because that's how they handle telling their customers they're closed) the menu the day of. There have been a few times where they will post the day before the menu, and then you try to go the next day and they are "closed for catering". Why bother posting a menu for that day if you are closed for supposed catering? The food is amazing, but they don't know how to run a business. You need to be more reliable and transparent about what is going on with your business instead of hiding everything and not answering to any one of your customers. I would be giving this place a 5 star review hands down for the food. They just need to figure out a way to let the customers know what is going on with the hours more than a day in advance. read more

The service is graciously provided by the proprietor, Chris, who is the self-described, baker, waiter, accountant and janitor. My 11-year old daughter had the cheese and bacon quiche and said the bacon was perfect. I had a piece of the mushroom quiche and it was quite good. The owner baker has a dry personality but is pleasant and happy to explain all o led his tasty creations. NOTE: the cafe front is in a U - shape plaza with no vodka or signage from the road. It's directly across the street from a grocery store called Sharps (I think that was the of anyway). We stopped in for a quick breakfast before hitting the road back to Indy. My only regret is that I didn't bring home more goodies! I had a personalized sized quiche. I think it had a potato crust. It was very good. I probably could have eaten two but would have been too stuffed for a long car ride. I also grabbed a croissant muffin for the road. It was buttery, flakey with a sweet carmel glaze topping. So good! My travel companion mirrored my order and I picked up that tab totaling $12!!! I can't get breakfast out in Indy for $12. He had breakfast sandwiches, pies and much more. The owner was so kind and generally interested in us. They have a small but generous enough selection of sweet and savory dishes. We walked in and had a warm greeting from the shop owner, Chris, who walked us through his entire menu.
