My mother recently moved house and it is gorgeous it really is - nice fire, big slabs making up the kitchen floor. It reminds me of country houses. I personally can't be doing with the actual country - too many trees and not enough things to do - but i like the old fashioned charm of country cottages.
Time for Tea, on Bury New Road, aims to bring a little of the country to drab Prestwich - serving up some cafe treats in the process. Cute little round tables with long white tablecloths, more china than you can shake a stick at - flowers, papers to read. They've thought of everything to make it simply lovely. Yes, lovely thats the word.
