The museum focuses on the history of Karkonosze Region which is replete with interesting history and new exhibits of modern works. There is a full replica of a traditional hut in the style common to Lower Silesia. An assortment of other exhibits show archaeological findings from various time periods, and there is a lot of interactive screens for your educational enjoyment. Upstairs there was an interesting exhibition of lithographs and post cards form various cities in towns in the region that were popular with the German population living in this area. I was also fascinated with the glass museum and the display of modern glass artworks. Beautiful indeed. I highly recommend visiting this museum. You only need 1.5-2 hours to see everything and it's very well organized. Most information is provided in multiple languages including English, German and Czech. Entry is on the side of the building.
