Time Buyer has been absolutely incredible to work with. If you work well with them, they work well with you! That simple! I purchased and extended warranty for my car with them. The engine blew, they honored the warranty and I had it back less than a week later! It had a minor subsequent issue after. Their mechanic had it fixed next day and didn't charge me for the parts. THIS IS FOR THEIR ROME LOCATION: If anyone is out looking for a new car and you just happen to find Time Buyers, you might find an 07 Buick Lacrosse sitting in the parking lot for sale. Its grey in color and the VIN is 2G4WC582171153453. It needs a new wheel bearing on the front drivers side. It needs 4 new tires since all 4 have a slow leak. Theres no tire caps on it. Who sells someone a car with no cap? The transmission skips when you accelerate and leaks transmission fluid. It has a remote start but if you let it run for 15 minutes you have to wait 30 minutes for the car to start again. The drivers side blinkers are about to go on it. Hasnt had an oil change in well over 6 months. It's going to need a new exhaust system soon. It's gotten louder since december. I changed out both headlights since they blew a month after I got it. I also changed a few fuses out because the lights tend to turn on and off as they please. I've only had it shut completely off on me once while driving. Its been in an accident which they wont admit to. The front grill is cracked and you cant get the wiper blades off because the hood is pushed up. I also dented the back bumper backing into something but that's easily fixed. Theres dents in the drivers door that cause it to leak when it rains so the entire car smells like mold all the time. On top of a wet ass/back constantly because its upstate NY and rains everyday. Its got about 90k on it. The miles arent the problem. Everything else is. It needs new front brake pads. Again that's a grey in color 2007 buick lacrosse with a remote start and about 90k miles. Dont buy it. I went in to buy a car, they said I needed 4 references I provided this information plus 3 extra references they then said I was not approved with $500 down they then said if I give them 1255 down in cash upfront that they would get us approved so I sold a truck I had to get them 1255 they then kept saying I needed more references and dragged it out for 3 days saying I need more references and now I don't even have my truck they are crooks Doug also made comments about how he could not see with his mask on despite knowing I am legally blind and cannot see period they were very discriminatory about this fact read more

The hassle of dealing with this place isn't worth it. Even during a pandemic they're not willing to work with customers. At normal legitimate car lots, there is some wiggle room as far as late payments go. Not at Timebuyer. Basically, this is a company that prays on people who have no other alternative to obtaining and automobile. And, many times they sell vehicles which already possess problems. The first vehicle we purchased from them had a bum strut right out of the gate. Then, we unfortunately purchased another vehicle through them and the transmission had problems not too long after we obtained it. And, as far as repairing a vehicle obtained from them, working with you and perhaps adding the cost to the overall cost of the vehicle, they are unwilling to help whatsoever. Stay away from Timebuyer, I know that at times we do what we have to do as we all need a vehicle. But their bad business practices make them not worth it. Buy a vehicle from a private party or find someone who will co-sign for you at a REAL car dealer. In the end, you'll be happy that you did. read more
