Went their on a Monday night first time at this time square ordered soda water and then our meals i ordered the house salad with , vinaigrette dressing and plain wings with a side of blue cheese, my husband ordered a Meatball sandwich. when i got my salad it had blue cheese dressing not vinaigrette. The salad was so much lettuce 1 tomato and 2 small olives and i pepper and some of the lettuce was old . The wings were so dry over cooked i didn't finish them all. My husbands meatballs were very dry and the sauce was so much on the bread when you picked up the sandwich it broke . All around a horrible meal... We were with our friends who's meal was fine but they only get one thing every time they go their. So when we got our Bill i was amazed that to see that they had charged us for soda water $1.90 for two waters and the waitress had put one of our drinks on our friends bill everywhere we go we always order soda water and never get charged. Used to go to the location on 7th st but something has gone wrong in their move. Place was packed and was hard to get attention when we spilled a drink to help. Pescatora was cold and seafood overcooked and dry, no flavor in red sauce. Cheese ravioli was cold. Garlic bread was a rock. Only good thing was the bread pudding dessert. First time trying this place. My grandma wanted to treat me to lunch so we ordered the seared scallops over linguine with a tomato based red sauce and the calamari appetizer to share. When we arrived home just now to eat this meal we were excited about there was an immediate disappointment seeing the $30 scallop dish. It was the smallest pasta portion and 5 of the smallest scallops I've ever seen or eaten. The calamari looked fine but tasted terrible. Couldn't eat that. We both tried the scallop linguine and the sauce they use tastes so bland like a tomato soup out of a can. The scallops were completely overcooked and chewy (worst scallops I've had out of all the restaurants I've been to). For a spending $30 for a plate you'd expect to have a decent sized portion and bigger scallops than this. Very dissatisfied and will not be returning. For reference our total was $53 for these 2 items!! Also when I went inside to pick up the food the ambiance was not appealing and it smelled like sewage. read more

I hate reviewing negative experiences. I really do. But when it's bad.... It's bad.... Look at my review history and you'll see it's always positive. All I have to say about this place is don't waste your time here. Go anywhere but here for a better dining experience. When I came here today I was given a very cold welcome by a gentleman named Joey who identified himself as the new manager. He seated us and didn't even take a drink order or anything... Not even water in June. He simply gave us menu's and walked away. He didn't even say what server would be by to help us. It wasn't even that busy at all. It was around 4pm and the bar area was completely empty and the restaurant had 5 tables. We made table 6. I don't understand the attitude from a supposed manager so we sat down then walked away to go elsewhere. It sucked to go to a new place that doesn't even care. I promise your dining experience would be better at even a fast food restaurant or anywhere else!! It was a poor choice to come here! read more

We used to live near the location on Union Hills that closed. This new location has been open for about 2 weeks and we finally got to visit. I appreciate the fact that this is closer to home for us as we really enjoy the food at Times Square. The new location is smaller than the Union Hills one. It was busy on a Saturday night but they seemed to have adequate staff to serve all of the tables. The food quality was consistent with what we used to get at the old location. Our server was handling multiple tables and was very focused on a large party so it took quite a while to get our check. Food - I had gnocchi and it was great. Husband had fettuccine alfredo with chicken and loved it. My dad had linguine with clams and said it didn't have much flavor (I caught several whiffs of it during dinner and it smelled terrible but i cant stand clams!). Dad loved the garlic bread though. Only downside food-wise is they were out of creme brulee. Guess we'll have to go back another day! read more

Update: we discovered the chicken in BOTH dishes was partially raw I don't recommend this place at all. It's a good concept, but a flop. Hate leaving bad reviews, but it wasn't a great first experience. The manager messed up our to go order and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for food. This was our first time ordering here and honestly I'd say subpar at best. Pasta sauce was watered down and bland. DEFINITELY NOT authentic Italian. Go to Olive Garden over this place - tastes better and is cheaper. read more

We visited this restaurant and was not impressed. Being native New Yorkers, we are well aware of good authentic Italian cuisine. I had the veal parmigiana and my husband had veal piccata. The veal was ok, did have some very chewy parts, the pasta was too aldenti, but, the worst part were the sauces. Both were way undercooked and left a ring of water around the plate. They got a pretty strict no outside drink policy. My fiancé and I stopped by to grab some lunch after we dropped my car off at the shop. I happened to have an empty Stanley water bottle on me and I was hastily refused service. Pretty unwelcoming maybe the food is good I don't know, but that left a negative impression so probably won't be coming back. read more

We were regulars at the old location. First time at this one. Menu is exactly the same. Food is still really good. Bar service was really slow. The appetizer came out before the drinks. We split a massive, and I mean massive, bread pudding desert. Quite tasty; but with splitting it a side of vanilla ice cream would have been a nice touch. Really quite reasonable prices. The location on Bell Road near 59th Ave serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We've had all three and enjoyed their lunch menu and dinner, a little disappointed with our breakfast. Our recent dinner here was excellent. Two of their pasta with seafood entrees as pictured. Served with garlic bread. We'll be back again. What we really enjoyed is our server Danielle. It was obvious she enjoyed her work. She was so friendly with all of the family, and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. We did a pick up order because this location is new and it was perfect comfort food on a stormy az night. I've only had food at the original location but this one did not disappoint. It was fast, service was friendly for pick up, and the order was correct and had tons of filling flavors. The fried mozzarella was a little different, although the cheese itself was tasty. It looked like a filet of fish overall a good experience. We got put in the bar area which was fine until we heard a staff member say you get shitty service at the bar since there's only one bartender. We waited over 20 minutes to order our food. The waitress was rude and short(as she always is). Waited 20 more minutes for salads. Wait more for our food. Finally when SOME of it came it was cold and overcooked.....me being the birthday girl didn't get my food. She kept saying ill go get it, ill go get it, never came. Bruschetta was ok. The balsamic vinegar was a bit heavy. Manicotti wasn't served in a tubular pasta. It was likely a flat lasagna sheet. Underwhelming. Linguini E Vongole Bianco was unremarkable. Sauce was heavier than expected. Skimped on clams. The cioppino was good. A bit heavy on the bell pepper as it was overly prevalent and dominated the flavor of the dish. Disappointing that the Ossobucco is hit or miss when ordering. It wasn't consistently available and the server couldn't say when they usually have it. "We get it in every once in a while". Why have it as a menu item then? Put it on the special board when it's in and remove it from the everyday menu. The cannoli was good. Service was adequate. Server seemed disinterested when she first came to the table. Ambiance was ok. Nothing special stood out. Prefer the Deer Valley location. read more
