We contacted timeshare legal in May 2022 after seeing an ad on tv and from the start the customer service was next to amazing, even though we were really skeptical. They told me it might take up to a year to get me out of the timeshare, but I would not be responsible for next years maintenance, we were sold! It was not exactly cheap, we ended up spending about two times my annual maintenance and at the time it was beyond frustrating. Now looking back on it I think it was well worth it to be timeshare free. The issues we had outside of the cost was that it took longer than anticipated to get out of the timeshare. After purchasing our time share with Wyndham Resorts, we could never get booked into staying. Seems like all we could do was attend party weekends which cost extra. The promises were always made and always never happened, just spend more money and get nothing in return.
