Tina's nails is a great spot to relax and get away from the littles. I opted for a pedicure with Joe's and I have to say that the massage was absolutely awesome the technician did not rush through it I just felt so relaxed and man I would come back there just for that because they're really good at getting you relax and just to enjoy a moment of nothing but being pampered. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the price I ended up paying $60 for a regular gel with just a $5 up charge for a special effect on my nails. That seems really expensive to me and also the chairs while really pretty are very impractical because you can't recline in them and for someone tall it makes for not as comfortable of an experience the entire time all I wanted to do was recline and I'm pregnant on top of it so it was a bit tough for me.

I wasn't able to get a same day appointment but they got me in the day after, which worked out as we were staying in town through the weekend. There are tons of nail salons in and around this area with terrible reviews, and Tina Nails had the only salon with positive reviews and an updated interior with proper and chic furniture and chairs. Jimmy is the best! I came in with some entirely too long acrylic nails and a few that were broken and needed to be replaced due to poor workmanship (not from here). He nailed the shape, and when I wanted to do a glitter he had a solid recommendation about base color to ensure it popped. 100% entirely happy with my visit.

I was a little disappointed with some of the things at this salon. I felt like doing my nails was an inconvenience. And when I showed them my inspo photo they told me it would look like a "little kids" nails and that I should only do one singular nail... I felt like they just didn't have the time or patience so they were trying to rush me out. Also didn't have any lotion or cuticle oil for hands so not sure if that's a normal thing or not.

I really only come here for pedicures and they do a fabulous job! Very thorough getting all the dead skin off and they do a great foot massage. Anh did my pedi and she was very sweet and friendly. Clean establishment and very upscale vibe. The massage chairs are sooooo comfy. They do close Wednesdays so just be mindful of that!

Disgusting! This is a gel manicure after 9 days. I got my daughter a gel manicure when we visited Monterey. We checked reviews on Yelp and decided on Tina's. There were red flags from the beginning. Not professional at all. I regret spending $40 on these! Take your business elsewhere!! We should have waited until we got back home where the manicures last 3-4 weeks. read more

I had a positive experience; staff was timely and friendly. The shop was clean and pleasant. Had mani pedi both turned out great. Only a couple of suggestions: price list was confusing and hard to read, some operators chatted a lot and I felt as though my pedi massage suffered, hand massage after mani was minimal and lotion not enough lotion used. Overall I recommend them. read more

Best Nail Salon Ever! I made an appointment with Tina's Nails a few weeks ago for my Wedding and it was hands down best decision I could have made. All of the staff was very friendly, professional and really did an amazing job taking their time on my nails to make them absolutely perfect. I got a mani/pedi and they pampered me like a princess the whole time. At the end of my pedi they even helped me put on my socks so I wouldn't have to bend over. Best customer service I have ever received at a nail salon; you will not regret making an appointment with them! read more

I moved back to PG about 2 years ago, right during the height of COVID. I hadn't had my nails done since leaving VA. However, breaking my leg and not being able to reach my foot necessitated the need for a pedicure. I read so many reviews of different salons on Yelp and even solicited recommendations from others whose nails looked nice. My main concerns were cleanliness of the salon and quality work. I finally settled on Tina Nails. For my first couple of pedicures, I was still in a leg brace and had to be careful with my surgical scar. They were more than accommodating even allowing me to come in the back door as there was easier access to the pedicure chair. I loved being able to get a pedicure again. They were very careful not to hurt me as movement of my leg was somewhat restricted. Now that I am out of my brace and off my crutches, I can finally enjoy a full pedicure again. They do a wonderful job of making me relax and enjoy. I also decided to get a dip manicure on my poor fingernails. They were short, thin and have a tendency to peel, but Emily did a great job shaping them and making them look good. I am thrilled with the service I am provided at Tina Nails. I low-key wish I lived in Monterey so I can come here again. Probably the best mani/pedi I have ever gotten? I was looking for a place to get my nails done and after seeing the 5 star reviews and pictures, decided this was the place and booked an appointment for a Saturday morning. I was running a few minutes late and Tina called me to check in instead of giving up my slot to someone else. Tina worked with me, helped me talk through color selection and then began scrubbing, trimming, filing, and whatever other magic she did on my hands and feet. I asked for flowers on my big toes and she did a really simple and pretty design. On my nails she did a gold nail accent. Really relaxing environment. Small shop with only 3 people working. $75 for a gel mani/pedi with flowers. So extremely happy. Thanks Tina! read more

Wonderful experience! After receiving atrocious nails at other salons this definitely exceeded my expectations. The salon is brand new and very relaxing- the nail techs are all nice and very thorough and pay attention to detail. What a delight to discover this place! I live in NYC, where nail salons are a dime a dozen... well, on second thought, many times more than a dime! The attention to detail throughout both my pedicure and then manicure by Tina herself [wow!] in the same chair where Gina was doing my pedicure-- made me feel like the only thing missing were the grapes and the palm fronds. When I first moved to area almost two years ago, I went straight to Yelp to find my new nail salon. Tina Nails was the #1 recommendation and I've been going here ever since. My nails used to break regularly and since I've been a customer at Tina Nails, my nails are so strong and grow like crazy. I trust them completely with my nails and often let them pick the color. Cannot recommend them enough! Definitely make sure to call for an appointment as they book up quickly. read more

This is an amazing salon! Anne did my French manicure for my wedding. She shaped my nails beautifully and the manicure lasted a full two weeks through our honeymoon. It is the longest my nails have ever been and I got so many compliments. The salon is very clean and everyone is so friendly. My mom's manicure chipped when she was in town so she went to Tina's nails to have it fixed and was very impressed by their quality/attention to detail. Thank you Tina and Anne! read more

THE BEST nail experience I've ever had. They did a perfect job on my pedicure and French manicure. If they ask if you want a massage, get it! Best foot and arm massage I've had at a nail salon. They spent a long time and it was totally worth it. There massage chairs are brand new and excellent quality. They are clean, very nice, gentle, and have very reasonable prices too - tip extra!! read more

When we got there they'd given us an upgrade due to the "inconvenience" which I'd say it wasn't at all especially since everyone was so nice about it! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process and even brought us water afterward. We'll definitely be returning next time we're in town!

I've been going to this nail salon for over 5 years, and I can't say enough great things about the team there. Everyone is always professional, welcoming, and genuinely happy, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. A special shoutout to Tina, who is truly the best! Omg Tina is amazing. I've been to a few around the area and Tina's Nails is definitely the best. She is gentle and knowledgable -- she'll talk or just let you zone out in foot massaging bliss. She was ready for me at my scheduled appointment, everything was clean and sanitary, the selection of OPI colors was terrific. I also got my nails done and they looked amazing! This is my spot for pedicures from now on. read more

Tina is the best on the peninsula! She loves what she does and it shows on your nails. Not only are your nails perfectly done, but they last long, at least 3 weeks! I have recommended Tina to friends and they have all really liked her. I highly recommend Tina's new shop to everyone! It's great value and... Tina and her husband were so accommodating even though they were busy and I was a walk-in. I absolutely loved my manicure and pedicure! From the exfoliating scrub to the arm and hand massage everything was top notch with very reasonable prices. This is definitely my new spot and I can't wait to go back! read more

Hello! Several times I have tried a gel manicure and was never happy with the results UNTIL I went to Tina's Nails. Professional job from start to finish and my manicure grew out beautifully and now I am returning to have them applied again. Happy return customer. read more
