This company is fantastic! they were very quick and the quality was wonderful. I was in and out in an hour.

I have been there 2 times and still can't get a decent tint installed, have air bubbles and marks and streaks

I brought my brand-new 2025 SUV to Tint World Newport News for full ceramic tint (quoted $499 for the vehicle + $200 for the windshield, plus tax). What I got was poor quality work, constant delays, and endless excuses. On 5/19/25, I dropped off my SUV. Later that day, they said their calibration machine wasn't working for the windshield. I got a $50 discount, but had already wasted time, gas, and money on Ubers. When I returned 5/20/25, I pointed out contamination on my brand-new driver's window tint. The installer tried to fix it but failed -- and left tools inside my SUV. The owner, Ron, blamed contamination on dust in the shop due to a broken HVAC and fans blowing dust. He asked me to come first thing 6/28/25 at 8:00 AM so my SUV could be worked on before the fans were needed. I followed instructions, but at 4:15 PM that day, they called to say they only finished my front two windows because the installer had yet another emergency and left. When I arrived at 5 PM, both front windows still had contamination -- nothing was fixed. The front desk staff wouldn't comment further, only saying the owner would call me. Now I'm stuck paying another shop to remove and replace this bad tint job. After all the wasted time, gas, Ubers, and frustration, I strongly do not recommend this location. read more

I got my windows tinted there about a month ago and they look great! I set up an appointment, dropped my car off and just picked it up once they were done. I chose 20% tint and it looks amazing, I really like the fact that they give you a life time warranty against bubbles & things like that. They did a great job! read more

Ray is a stellar employee .He helped me because I'm from California. He had to take off a brackets for my alarm system to work right . Because there was a recall on my Kia for my alarm system in San Diego Ca. He had to call to the San Diego California alarm company of Kia . Because the Kia dealership here would not do it for me since I bought the car in San Diego. Ray and alarm company in San Diego Ca talk to each other so that Ray could take the bracket off for the Newport News dealership of Kia, so they could do maintenance on my car .And when I had to get it reinstall it wasn't a long wait. And he was able to get me an early appointment. He is amazing and understands my disability. I made an appointment back in March because of my auto immune disease that I have I couldn't make the appointment . And he was very understanding to get me an early appointment .He is professional . Well I was waiting. I went outside to get fresh air because of my auto immune diseases that I have cervical dystonia and fibromyalgia. when I went to sit outside on the curb in front of the Tint World in Newport New on J Clyde Morris Blvd in New Virginia 23601. Marvin L Arrington is the store manager saw me fall as I was trying to get up to stand and he came running out to help me to stand up When I lost my balance with getting up from the curb. He stayed right by my side and made sure I was stable .Marvin L. Arrington helped me get back in the lobby a made sure that was I was safely sitting in the comfortable chair. And he gave bottles of water.And Marvin L Arrington would check in with me to see how was feeling and brought me bottles of water .He showed a lot of compassion for checking in with me as a customer saying sit there as long as you need and if there's anything you need just let me know. I must have sat in there for a couple of hours and he was always checking in with me . And he was at the front desk, keeping an eye out on me till I was stable . And asked me when I got up to go to my car he asked me do you want me to walk you to your car . So you can get in your car safely. That's a compassion manager I don't know how I would have gotten up safely back in sided the lobby . If he wasn't in the lobby area . I could have fallen and got hurt. But thank God for him watching out and being there for me .He is my Hero for the day Marvin L Arrington is a stellar manager with compassion for all of his customers . He is always making appointments to accommodate his customers with their schedules, the lobby is nice and clean . They have comfortable chairs that are nice and clean and nice music too listen too and a clean restroom . They offer a lot of services. And what ever kind of services you are getting done on your vehicle, they will check in with you to let you know the up date on your services. Scratches on my windows and bubbles under the tint. 2 of my windows have scratches on the outside now and bubbles under the tint as well. I'm going to be going back to have them fix this. read more

Tint world did a great job on my 1991 Chevy 3500 Dually. Had a few bubbles on one window after the two week period. I went back and they re-tinted both front windows right away. Amazing customer service, amazing responsiveness, and amazing work! I stopped by to get an estimate for removing the distorted tint from my rear window (bought the car in this condition) and applying new time. The owner of the store was professional in every aspect - the greeting, discussing my request, was quick to provide an estimate and scheduled my service date. I dropped my vehicle off and picked it up later in the day - apparently the film that the previous car owner had applied wasn't coming off easily so they steamed the film and spent several hours removing the old tint film and then triple clears the glass to ensure everything was in order before applying the new tint. The job was perfection - not one bubble or crease anywhere! Highly recommend this business. The owner and one of the employees I met were absolutely 5 stars! Go here - you won't be disappointed.
