RUN!!!! If I could give it no stars ,a negative 10 stars I would .I am a first time user of…read moredaycares. I have 1 child that is my world, and im a single mother. Being the rich woman I am i was hoping to find a good daycare with reasonable prices. I called and spoke to the woman running the place "Syman shain" (sp). Now mind you she is the only one there constantly. ...24 hours, with a relief that comes in maybe 3 days a week for 5 to 8 hours. First I was a little weary but this woman had me sold on the idea, I was actually excited about it. now after taking my child there, her very first day after picking her up, getting in the car, she's SILENT! NOT NORMAL! she's USUALLY very talkative, she wouldNT even look at me .I kept trying to find out how her day was ,if she had a good time, what she did. she took about an hour before she would actually talk to me about anything. I said what did you do today? she told me she just played inside. She said that she asked if she could go outside and play and they told her "no ". now funny because on the "Curriculum" supposedly they're to go outside everyday. nope! never happened! POOR BABY was actually afraid to ask to go out there again. I asked her what she ate? she had to sit there and think about it for quite some time and after a while said peanut butter and jelly. When I asked for facility manager what she ate that day this woman tried to sell me on her eating broccoli and tuna fish .my little girl does not eat those things .I wish she would but she's a very picky eater .she would have thrown up .hence the reason I sent her with things to eat .My baby, my precious, energetic ,loving, sweet ,funny, outgoing child ,was now afraid and quiet. I asked her if she wanted to go back to school and she told me "No mommy", "please". :'( She was literally afraid of this woman. The one that's always there this" Sian ". My child proceeded to tell me the rest of the "wonderful things " that destroyed her very first day of school. She told me that she asked for some juice to drink which when I dropped her off I left her with some snacks, string cheese, gogurt, juice, fruit , which they "supposedly" provided for them but when my child asked for some juice she was denied .she also asked for some water, again ,also denied!!! they only gave her milk .now I'm going to assume this is WIC milk or government milk that they are givien for having a daycare . I can't tell you the horror i feel for her very first memory of school that's supposed to be exciting and fun being a child's nightmare. She wasn't even given a chance to learn the rules before she was punished for disobeying them. SHe also told me about her going to the bathroom , starting there was no soap to wash her hands. now I dropped her off with a bag of baby wipes so that she can wipe the toilet seat off, throw that in the trash, get a new one ,wipe her butt after going ,throw that in the trash ,and flush . Simple enough. the daycare doesn't have to provide these things for her I had it there for her myself and they took it from her .took it right out of the bathroom the second I left .Here's a little clue ......check the bathroom shower. If it looks as if somebody was murdered in there then it's probably NOT a good DAYCARE .The woman running it herself is not practicing personal hygiene EITHER. And I say this in the nicest way possible. I'm sorry . The overall facility couldn't be any more disgusting, unsanitary ,filthy filthy, it smells , heck the day I picked her up the AC was not even on. since when in Florida are we trying to save on the electric bill with no AC!? Can we talk about this? Smh .. these poor children .I hate myself for subjecting her to this unforgettable experience. My child was not even given the opportunity to learn the rules before she was punished for them . Can you imagine first day of school, in the corner?! Now the next day I went there and spoke to this woman and tried asking her what rules she failed to obey and what procedure was done prior to her going into the corner and she told me she couldn't remember what my child had did wrong when it was less than 24 hours ago. I'd love to know what happened to procedure .while speaking to this woman there was another child there that was of the opposite race of this "said manager" and she was particularly rude and mean to him. (2 &1/2 yrs old) smh, but the ones that were of her same race were more favored .one was called "honey " and " yes love"
