Wow! I am still here as I'm writing this, I couldn't wait to give 5 stars. The service is incredibly gracious, attentive, and accommodating. I didnt eat much, but each plate that passed by me looked incredible! To top it all off, the ambiance is what I am so passionate about. There's a restaurant with the same name in Philly with amazing food and while we know there's no relation, we were hopeful that the food would be just as good. Admittedly, we were also intrigued by bottomless mimosas and sangria. It wasn't very busy, the host sat us in a 4 top in the window, shortly after that the manager apologized and moved us to another table. We ordered sangria and opted for light lunch, and ordered the empanadas, clams, soup and salad. We made reservations on Open Table for an early dinner before a jazz show and we loved this cute place. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! We got several tapas plates to share and everything was very tasty. I used to love their tacos and elote. then I started coming during the pandemic when they were just take away drinks. Which was amazing and something to do. I came here recently and didn't even realize that I had been here previously. We were in the area and I popped in because I saw that they had frozen margaritas that could be purchased togo. I order a couple and whe I paid and waited, I noticed that they had a nice tequila selection. I told hubby to come in and check out the bar. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately at a table by the window. They also have bar seating and an entire seating area in the back. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful as far as making suggestions and answering our questions. There are a LOT of options too! You can order a bunch of Tapas, or strictly stick with a main course. Also, lots of drink options on the flip side of the menu. We started with a DELICIOUS bowl of freshly made Guacamole which was served with a sweet salsa and chips. I highly recommend this as well as the Sparkling Sangria!! Yummy!!! I ordered the Currasco (skirt steak), which was cooked PERFECTLY! It came with roasted potatoes and veggies that were also very flavorful. My friend ordered the Red Snapper which was moist, flakey and well seasoned. This came with roasted veggies and a rice pilaf. The waiter even gave us extra chips because we devoured the first basket. Neither of us were able to finish our food. I have come here quite a few times over many years. I think there has been a change in the cook staff and management! I used to sit in the back where the garden/plants were, this time I sat in the front. I feel the food on scale of 1-10 for me was a 3.5. I miss a waiter mashing the guacomole right at your table, but overall the guacomole was edible. The paella marinera saffron rice was not soft at all, it was hard and kind of burnt. There was not enough shrimp - 3 tiny little shrimp, two pea pods which were hard, 2 little calamari rings and 3 mussels. For $32 dollars that's not much. My friend had the chicken dish with potatoes in a brown sauce and all he was doing was cutting away chicken skin to try to get to the chicken, he was eating chicken wings in a brown sauce!
