I wish there was an option to give no stars at all. I'm so disappointed. I normally love this salon but today I had a new tech I hadn't had before. The man who did my nails was automatically impatient with me. I showed him the nails I wanted which he said he could do. The nails I got resemble the reference but definitely aren't the same. Upon leaving the salon I noticed that on almost every single finger the complete sides were bare. I went back in to ask if I could come back another day for them to fix it or receive a refund as he charged me $70 for this set. He tells me to come sit and he'd fix them which i did. He proceeds to start angrily filling away the sides of the acrylic that are bare until they are gone instead of just filing it in with more of the powder. He was filling into my literal skin and mocked me when I flinched my hand. Definitely will not be coming back again. read more

If I could give this a 0 star I would. The guy that did my mom's nail was very rude to her. He was yelling at her very rudely. She told him not to talk to her like that in which he said don't tell me what to do, you talking to much and to be quiet. He would get mad and bang the nail polish bottle on the table. My mom asked him to speak with a manager and he would not answer her and kept yelling at her. He even made my mom's finger bleed and did not apologize. She showed him the design she wanted and he did not even do them properly. He just kept telling her to be quiet in a rude voice. He over charged her for the nails that were done. REGRET spending money here when they don't even value the customers. read more

I have gone a few times and have enjoyed my nails each time. The reason I am leaving 3 stars is because the guy who did my nails (Peter) had such a bad attitude. The whole time I was in his chair he treated me like I was a huge inconvenience to his day even though I was very polite. He was so irritated with me and I couldn't understand why. He did my nails like he was in a race. I was trying so hard to be a good patron and he made me feel guilty for twitching my hand. MY BAD PETER, I'll never inconvenience you again. Update: the owners of Tip N Toe will be moving next to Bed, Bath and Beyond by mid August 2017. It will be under a different name of THE NAIL PLACE. Went there for the first time after recommendations from friends. Loved how my gel nails and pedi turned out. The people there take their time to call you by name and get to know you. If I had to make a recommendation to the owner, it would be to use tub liners in the foot bath and disposable foot scrubs. This business also does not take credit cards, only cash and checks. I visit Brunswick quite often, and have always had trouble finding a good nail salon. I finally found one in Tip n Toe. I got a fill in with gel polish, and a deluxe pedicure. My tech was extremely kind and gentle, and did my nails exactly how I wanted them done. They have plenty of gel colors to choose from, and are very thorough. They get 4/5 stars because I'm kind of a germaphobe, and I'm use to getting a liner in the pedicure bowls back home lol read more

First visit and it was great! One pampered lady! No wait and for $25 I got the scrub, hot stone massage, and my feet look amazing!

I simply love Tip n Toe!!! The atmosphere is very calming. The owner "Lee" is so nice!!! Ken..OMG HILARIOUS! He does FANTASIC nails!! He takes his time and is a perfectionist. Crystal (MY NAIL TECH) is awesome. Her nail designs are awesome. Her photogenic memory on design pics is very good. I just love crystal! The pregnant lady who does my pedicures is fabulous! Horrible horrible horrible! I was driving through town on my way to savannah and needed my nails done and decided to try this place based on the yelp reviews. The staff was friendly enough and the work was okay however when it came time to pay I was absolutely horrified by how much they charged. A gel manicure with French was $45!!!!! I would never have paid that much if I knew that ahead of time. I was rushed through and didn't even get a hand massage and they have the guts to charge $45 for that?!?!? I thought I was in brunswick GA.... I have never paid more than 35 for a gel manicure. I feel they definitely upcharged me and took advantage of me because I told them I was from out of town. Lesson learned... Ask the prices and don't just assume that a rinky dink shop isn't going to stiff you. read more

Definitely not going back. The woman called ma was very rude, they almost seemed as if we were inconveniencing them. We were there for over 3 hours my son received a pedicure which we requested a basic mani pedi for him, which he said was sub par. He waited for over an hour for him to receive his manicure and it was also not very good nothing special. No paraffin or lotion for a massage. He was definitely not happy and to top it off they charged extra because he was a man. What? Ya. My nails were ok, I received a fill and 3 repairs and the repairs broke within a few days of them being done. One nail chipped within one hour. At the end of all this unimpressive work we were charged over $130 for a basic mani and pedi, a fill, 3 repairs and a pedicure with a design on each big toe. Seriously I have never paid that much ever in the 25+ years I've been going to salons. I lived in Southern California and never paid that much. We were overcharged and when we questioned we were told because he was a man there's an extra charge. Never again. I do not recommend this place, Unless you like being ripped off. read more
