Cheap and convenient. Almost always takes walk ins. They do a good job, but don't expect amazing high quality nails. It's cheap and they do a pretty cheap job. It's only around 20$ for a fill in with design. I like them because its not expensive, they can do them very quick and you don't need to make an appointment. Really one of the most awful nail experiences I've ever had. I asked for a French manicure with an apple on one finger. After asking everyone else in the store if they could draw an apple on my finger they resorted to putting some weird sticker on my nail with glue that didn't even bend. I made her take it off and just do nothing. Then I leave and my nails are literally bubbling through the polish and it looks awful. Not worth the price to sit there and be talked about and receive a poor quality of experience. read more

I guess this place is ok if you want a quickie pedi. I wouldn't come back but like I said if you need a pedi ASAP come here. No frills. No ambiance. Radio was way too loud. The reason I chose this particular salon was because I heard about the special they had for mani/pedis. I went on a Monday and it was $14 (for both). I decided to add French tips (otherwise I just assume do my own nails if I just want a single color). They added $4 to for the French pedi and another $4 for the French mani. My total cost for both was only $22. Not bad at all, but you do get what you pay for. As far as my experience goes, I sat down for a pedicure at the same time as another girl and the woman that did her nails (I found out later that her name was Lynn) took her time and was gentle on her. Unlike Lynn, the girl that did my nails (I didn't catch her name) seemed a little disgruntled and rushed through my pedicure. Between the super course nail file, the scrub brush and the cuticle trimmer it was not a very comfortable or relaxing experience. A couple of times I said "Ouch!" when she was too rough and she didn't apologize once. My nails did look pretty good when she was finished but by the time I got home a bunch of teeny tiny bubbles had formed on most of my nails. Even though they were not super noticeable I still think that should not happen with a professional manicure. However, when all is said and done, I would probably go back the next time I want a French mani/pedi because I'm a sucker for a deal. Next time, though, I will ask for Lynn! read more

Used to be my go-to nail salon, but since new ownership even the best nail girl changed. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and went to her again after she hurt and cut my fingers with a full set. The second time I asked for another coat because the nail polish was opaque. She hesitated because "it will bubble with uv gel" but did it after I said forget the gel give me my money back and put another coat on. Super disappointed-even when my eyebrows were done I left the salon with wax all over my face. Jackie was always my favorite I don't know what happened but I will never be back. read more

1st time at this place. Walked in and not even greeted with a hello. Just pick a color pick a color. My mom and I were both getting a mani/pedi. My mom was done in 30 min. My girl was a very young looking girl. She also did not say hello to me not once. Place was not that clean and very unorganized. On 2 of my toes you can still see the old black nail polish I had prior. My nails have bubbles on them after being dried. So overall I'm Not impressed and instead of complaining to fix etc.... TERRIBLE! The sign outside says "$20 acrylic tips" and if you get basic tips, cut to a pretty normal, (even a bit short) length, they tell you $30. The woman took 20 minutes to put on my tips, I brought my own polish, no design, they were not long, I am a super easy customer. I asked why they were charging me $30 and the boss said "you got them longer than your fingertip, that advertised price is for if you get short nails". So they upped my bill $10 without even telling me. I get my nails done often and I've NEVER been over charged like this. sooo dishonest! Oh and the woman who owns the place gossips about you to other customers in front of you after you question her on the jacked up prices! HORRIBLE! So unhappy with this place. Worst nail place I have ever been. One of the woman actually cut my friend so bad and did not even apologize! The cut was pretty bad too like she was bleeding on the counter. I got a manicure done and it was filled with bubbles when I got home. went back to get a refund and they said they would only be willing to redo the manicure. I did not have time to do this as I had to catch a train and they did not care. They were not accommodating in the slightest especially when they had done such a poor job initially. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Went for a manicure for a wedding I was attending..when I walked out I saw my nails were a mess, smeared polish, polish on my fingers...I had to remove the polish before I went to the wedding, that's how bad they were. Foolishly I gave them another try and hours after my manicure, there were cracks in the polish. Had my lip waxed and had to tell the girl to bring the wax to the corners of my mouth because she wasn't waxing the entire lip...still had to go home and use my tweezers! The place is FILTHY! I went to tip nails for OVER ten years. Kim the owner was the only one who did my nails. and She was amazing! My long nails stayed great with gel and a french manicure , even if I went 4 weeks later( growth easier to hide with a french when you are busy. Self employed, Mom ext:) NEW OWNERSHIP! My nails were DESTROYED with 2 manicures! EVERY SINGLE NAIL LIFTED in UNDER 3 weeks! I also got a nail fungus from water getting under the lifted nail becouse my Mom became ill and she was my priority, I couldn't run to get it fixed. Under the old ownership this never would have happened to my nail. ( like I said many times I went 4 weeks later with no lifting!) This NEVER HAPPENED FOR ME UNDER OLD OWNERSHIP! New ownership, I was told oh you need a whole new set! EXCUSE ME? They are MY OWN NAILS with Gel over them! No Tips, my natural nails with gel! I hadn't had a full set of tips in 15 years! If you are getting a gel powder, and you have issues with it like this they are probably cutting the powder they use with baby powder or something! Using less actual product making it go further... and you are paying for a quality product!. This happened to me in Brooklyn until I learned why. In Brooklyn I spent tons on my nails, every week I had a break EVERY WEEK! Under the old ownership at tips every single break was my own fault! ( I could count on one hand for over 10 years) 165 lb Dog pounced on my nail playing. A Box dropped and slid out of my hands I used my nails to try and stop it. I smashed it in a door... ALL ME! Using my thumb nail as a box opener ( yup every single day!) .... WAS NOT AN ISSUE! For over 10 years! I am self employed we would never do this to our customers. They know exactly what we are using, and why! Even if it cost a little more! We do the Job right so our customers trust us and come back! I gave them 2 shots after the ownership changed, convenant location, I could walk in when ever I had the time. Absolutely the worst pedicure ever! When I walked in the overwhelming smell of chemicals and solvents hit me like a wall, not greeted, told rudely to pick a color then go back. When I did I was ignored by three young women, only one was actually working on someone. I spoke up and was motioned to sit. She asked if I wanted them cut, I said only if they need to be, not too short. She proceeded to force a nail clipper under my skin and cut my nails so short that it actually hurt, Ripped of a bunch of skin while cutting my cuticles, so much that I instinctually pulled my foot away a few times. The water was boiling hot (and it was about 90 degrees outside) to top it all off I was told one minute and left sitting there with half a pedicure while she gave another women (who just walked in) a manicure. I sat for about 10 mins while other employees who didn't have customers ignored me completely. After 15 mins of nothing I got up and put money on the counter and left and no one said anything.
