Couldn't get the wash machine we picked out to work, lost the $3.75 to the machine, had to switch…read moremachines and invest another $3.00. NO ONE AROUND for help or to call. Lousy way to run a business.

I rarely need a laundromat, but I was out of town for work for several days and found myself in…read moreneed. Let me say in another newer, nicer, more functional laundromat existed in Sturgeon Bay it would put this one out of business. As other reviewers said almost 1/2 all machines were out of service. My first issue was of the two change machines only one said it was working, but refused to give change. I had to go find a bank to get a roll of quarters, isn't that the number one rule of a laundromat, of course the service agent sign said back in ten, I had no idea if they would or not and somehow everyone one else who came and went while I was there brought their own tubs of quarters, they must have experience here. Second, I didn't use (or rather couldn't) and of the old standard top loaders, but to point out here they are the only ones with signs warning of a max 12 pound load. I used a Maytag commercial front loading washer to wash one sweatshirt, a pair of flannel lounge pants, underwear and t-shirt for $2.25. When my phone timer was up I check and it says "unbalanced" - and the clothes are sipping wet. How do I get them to spin out? The service staff says my load was too heavy. The machine has max weight of 20lbs WITH water, and I need to pay for bigger machine, how in the world is anyone supposed to know that?! Furthermore, since when can't a commercial washer can't handle a thick sweatshirt? She says I need to use a bigger $3 or $4 washer, yes for 4 clothing items?! She gave me back the $2.25, but I had to pay an additional .75 and now waste 36 more minutes of my time waiting on another load on a bigger newer machine, also pictured. What utter nonsense. How about investing in newer machines that do the job!!
