The staff were all very professional, helpful and friendly. At the same time it was not stuffy and didn't make you feel uneasy. We tried the sampler platter for appetizer which was delicious. It was a good array of the their wonderful cuisine. The fried appetizers were not greasy and cooked just right. Loved the chicken/nuts dumpling, very unique and full of flavor and spices. For entree we tried the Lamb curry, sea bass curry, meat curry and pad Thai. They were all a hit, but the sea bass was the winner as far as we were concerned. The sauce and flavor was the perfect combination. Since it was a birthday celebration, we had the molten chocolate cake and the mango cheesecake, an amazing experience trying both (served with vanilla ice cream). This is a great place for any celebration

In addition to the eclectic and very creative menu, the sheer delight, taste, and presentation of the wonderfully prepared food is an experience in itself. Without a doubt, this restaurant has great ambiance, fist class service and is amongst the best in Hampstead.

There's a little story in South End Green that tells the tale of office workers over the years…read moregetting through their day with Thai food... looking forward to noodles and spice to kick up the routine of the daily grind. These office workers went religiously to a place that suddenly stopped serving them Thai... the office workers cried out and felt lost in a world of burgers giving them no real options. They began to lose hope that the staple of Thai food would never return until the Little Thai put up their sign and opened their doors. I went with a pad kee mau, fellow yelper Vickie tried out the pad thai... it's just what we've bee missing. For those of you who are familiar with the area, it's the building that used to house the French restaurant (which I'll actually miss, they were really nice) but it's a lovely space, nice and bright and modern. We had a chance to chat with the new owner and it seems he's got a bit of experience with restaurants in the past so we're looking forward to having them as a permanent fixture in our little neighborhood. Staff were friendly and the food is excellent (and good value). Lunch from 12-3, they deliver during dinner hours... The Little Thai does not disappoint! I'm so happy the area has Thai again! Honestly, ask anyone who has to come to NW3 on a daily basis, they'll moan about those dark Thai-less days as well.

A visit to the toilet reveals an upstairs seating area, again a very desirable setting for a romantic evening. The staff are brilliant in allowing you privacy as well as excellent service. Did not feel as if we were left waving down someone to order some food and wine. The menu is not overly packed with all the Thai dishes possible, but instead the recognized classics - this is reads good in terms of a restaurant's capability in delivering good, consistent quality in dishes all around. Don't worry though, I was going to put this to test! Firstly ordered the prawns Tom yum soup - prawns. Portions are not generous, so flavour was the name of the game here. Not impressed by the flavour, but I have been spoiled by the likes of Addie's Thai in SW5. The Tom Yum lacked the balance in sweet and sour flavours. You can ask for different strengths of spiciness - go for the top strength. After all, it is a Tom Yum soup, and you wanna kick that cold/cough! Ordered the beef massaman with Thai fragrant rice for main. One of the best massaman's I have had in London, in terms of the sauce ...and I was left wanting more even though I was full - result!! A little pet hate of mine is finding the potatoes slightly undercooked - for my liking! But my guest had no issue with them. It is a matter of preference I think! Not quite satisfied had the sticky toffee pudding, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - a standard dessert with a sickly sweet finish. Verdict? - Classic Thai dishes, the massaman was oh so delicious, but maybe opt for a different starter than the Tom Yum soup - Will be back to try some more of the menu! Oh yeah, good house white and red wines!

This place is what the term "cheap and cheery" was named after! Almost all of the dishes are around 5.50-6 pounds! Crazy! Favs/must haves (anything basil is great!) and is extremely flavorful, packed with such great Thai spices: - spicy beef with chili, vegetables and basil over rice - spicy rice noodle dish w basil. They use the flat rice noodle here. For those Asians who are used to a soggier, softer version; you won't find that here. They cook their noodles "al dente". It actually tastes very good if you are not used to that. Just think of die hard ramen fans who eat theirs al dente and the same for the die hard pasta lovers. Soggy is for those who are not savvy eaters. - Tom yum soup w shrimp - spring rolls (light brown, not over fried) I know a handful of people who live around here and swear by this place. When I took the first bite of my spicy beef chili vegetables w basil; it almost blew my mind out of the flavors. It could be because I was so hungry. Who knows. What I do know is this place is worth for me to trek out here for a couple of meals when I'm out in London!

Where else can you get Thai food and local craft beer at a pub in the UK or anywhere else!? The decor is just shabby chic with a pub twist. There are two levels and a garden area where you can dine with beautiful foliage, plus a covered patio area with glass surround. They have board games too! Good selection of craft beer on tap and wine, and the Thai is pretty good too (4 stars)...except the portions a little smaller then what I'm use to in the US, but for a pad se ew and a half pint it was just under £10!! Lots of locals here of all age range, great ambience, tasty Thai food, and great craft beer :) What else can one ask for!? I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. Cheers!!!
