    Boozy coffee
    Stephanie S.

This place was on my list to try when I came to visit my family. Luckily a family member had already been there and said the food was good. We ordered : two Iced boozy coffee, orange juice, Verde chilaquiles, Cinnamon roll French toast, and Classic Benedict. All the food was good and good portions. Two of us had leftovers. The iced boozy coffee was missing a chocolate rim (although that is an assumption based on another Yelp photo). Only downside was it did take a long time for our order to come out. When we asked the server about our food, she stated the kitchen was backed up because the rush of people that came in at the same time (which I did notice but that was after we were seated and ordered). We ordered 10am and didn't get food until 10:45am. I think the order was put in late but who knows. Overall it was a good breakfast. Just a heads up in case it matters, there is no handicap parking.

Date:9/5/25 Time:11:30-11::45AM [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a neat little restaurant. Good utilization of space with tables and booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Moderately busy, but we were seated very quickly. We had a wonderful server who promptly took our drink and food orders. -I had the biscuits and gravy which comes with eggs and hash-browns -Wife had the Perfect Breakfast - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and pancake. As fyi, you can choose sausage, bacon, or ham for meat and French toast or waffle instead of pancake. -Daughter had Cinnamon roll French toast Have to say the food was excellent. My eggs and hash browns were perfectly cooked. The biscuits and gravy were also really good. Even finished the small amount of cinnamon French toast my daughter couldn't eat (yes, I am a fatty LOL). It was out of this world good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant decor was a little mixed, but it works very nicely. Great job whoever set this up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms were immaculate and well stocked.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The manager or owner was very nice and greeted us upon arrival and when leaving. Everything about this place is top notch. If you are looking for a breakfast/brunch place in Meridian do yourself a favor and stop by this lovely restaurant.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual brunch spot with lots of natural sunlight and several delicious brunch food and drink options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The customer service was top notch. They serve local foods, whole ingredients and no seed oils. Great prices on the kids menu too. Definitely a place I will regular.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Always love the food/service and Atmosphere here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Was a real treat to find out after 2 years that we share the same birthday! Some of my favs are breakfast mimosas, breakfast tacos, Avacado toast hash, huevos ranchos and the chicken fried steak.

Avocado that is not ripe but still brown and bad. Melon that wasn't cut appropriately for service, eggs that waxy and brown.

The food was bad. Avocado that is not ripe but yet brown and bad. Oxidized and rotting. Melon that wasn't cut appropriately for service, eggs that were waxy and brown from contact with the rancid avocado. I know times are tough, but don't pass it on to the customer by serving bad food. Throw it out and eat the cost of not stocking your kitchen properly. And chef, have some self respect and pride. Are you too busy to cut the melon correctly? If I wanted to cut melon I would have stayed home. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server she initially argued with us and said there is no way to know if an avocado is ripe. But after leaving the table she did return and apologize and take the meal off the check.

My family and I are passing through Meridian, and stopped at this place, let me say that the food looked 100% home made, it was really good, service was fast and excellent, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is really nice and gives a family restaurant vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]! Would recommend 9/10 total!

The food is to die for! I love name and the fact they have a full bar, especially since they are a "Brunch" restaurant.

We did have to have a small wait. I love the fact that they were busy! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a local business thrive! It was a little over 10 minutes of wait time. No problem, we chilled in the car till we got our text to come in. We were sat, got coffee and juice ordered and checked out the menu. We were both hungry so everything looked good. My husband decided on a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of biscuits and gravy. I got the Big boy omelet with Moe Joe's potatoes. Our server, I believe her name is Kendra, was super sweet! I have served her before when she came in and ate my at family's restaurant. She was fabulous as a guest and fabulous at taking care of us today. I had requested a fresh cup of half and half that wasn't used my multiple guests. I'm still bring careful with my new kidney. With no hesitation, she gladly gave me a fresh cup of half and for my coffee. I appreciate her kindness so much. Food came out and booooyyyyy did everything look amazing! My husband's pancakes were fluffy and had plenty of chocolate chips. The biscuits were covered with gravy. My omelet was massive and was also covered in gravy. I was ready to tear into them potatoes! They were nice and charry. I know this meal is about to hit! I don't think I said a word to my husband for 15 minutes. The food was so good! Nothing important needed to be talked about when the food was doing the talking for us. My omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions and all the 3 meats that came with it. I love love love the gravy on top! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and so soft in the middle. The potatoes with gravy is top tier! Of course I tried my husband's pancakes.... so fluffy and sweet. The biscuits weren't crazy dense. I love that they were airy. I really had to hold back on the pancakes, I still had a whole omelet to work on. But them pancakes were the business! It's sad that this joint is clear across town. I would eat here every week if I could. Everything we had today was so good! Everything I had last time was good! The service is fantastic. I adore Memory and Peyton. Now I get to add Kendra to my list! One of the best breakfast joints in town, hands down! I'm so happy I got to start my birthday week at Moe Joe's! I look forward to coming back very soon.

Update: Joe, in response to your comment: Seems to me that maybe you shouldn't be in the restaurant business if you can't handle a little public criticism by your customers. I only posted what was our experience maybe others would find their change requests ignored of no significance but I'm on a specialized diet and that gravy was not acceptable! So stop being such a pansy and learn to use criticism to improve your product and services!

This Griddle is located at McMillan and 10 Mile, in the same shopping center as The Broken Yolk. Tucked in the corner, it has lots of windows, providing a nice view of trees and grass from the inside. There is also an outdoor patio that looked inviting. The inside is much the same as the other locations. High ceiling, a mixture of booths around the perimeter and tables on the main floor. There is counter seating as well. I'm not sure about the other locations, but this Griddle has the sound dampener squares in the ceiling that, in my opinion, probably keep the noise level down and make it easier to talk. This morning, Thursday, it was seat yourself. We chose a booth toward the back. Our server, Valeria, was excellent. She kept our water glasses filled and a warm up of my coffee before it got below 3/4. She was nice and attentive. A great server. My wife had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and toast. I had the Veggie Lovers omelet, hashbrowns, and toast. My wife enjoyed her entree, and I tried the maple sausage and it was tasty. We both ordered our hashbrowns crispy, and the top was nice and brown. My omelet was just OK for me. a few artichoke hearts on top, with spinach, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes inside. The onions were chopped into fairly large chunks, which I don't really care for. I felt it lacked flavor, despite me salting it, twice, and putting salsa on top (not spicy). They give you one piece of toast, which I actually like, because I don't need to eat too much bread. I don't think I'd order that omelet again. All in all, my first visit to this Griddle was very nice and we will certainly be back.

I'm not really in favor of having to give your cell phone number to feed into their app so you know when your table is ready, but there you have it. The inside is pretty cool if you are into that "converted warehouse" feel of exposed beam crossed with a country kitchen feel. Tables aren't crammed together, definitely a sense of space. There are booth options as well. And as I prefer, no TVs. There were 2 groups of 14 that were served during our visit, so they can definitely accommodate larger parties. Our server rarely checked in, took 10 minutes to refill coffee after we requested a top off (she forgot), and never ended up refilling out water. The coffee we did get was good though. As always, I'm a hollandaise connoisseur as the foundation for perfect Benedict - my go to breakfast item. So I asked for a sample before I ordered, and I'm glad I did. The Griddle's hollandaise was curious. It was clearly about 25-50% powdered mix (which tastes like nasty beef gravy) with the balance being added clarified butter and a very strong dose of lemon. It was marginal, but good enough. So, I went with the crab cake Benedict. The crab cakes were a bit "fishy," so the strong lemon flavor was a plus. After flagging down our server, I requested a new poached egg as one of them arrived hard boiled. (I want runny yolks as hard boiled are too chalky for my taste.) The replacement egg was delivered very quickly. My guest had the banana Texas french toast special with added bacon and scrambled eggs. Bacon was nice and thick, nicely cooked. Scrambled eggs are pretty much just that. The french toast did have great body to it, but I'm not a huge banana fan. Still enjoyed it though. I would consider this an option for a revisit.
