The nail techs were rude and would not listen to my requests. When I asked them to please fix the messy edges, the man near me scoffed and said "that's why we do it at the end!". But nothing was fixed and they tried to basically shove me out the door. I feel hurt, completely disrespected, and honestly completely embarrassed to even walk around with these nails. read more

I went in for a new dip and toenail polish change today. I saw the same man I had seen the last two times. His name is Tim , he was rushing everything with me . I have a hard time getting my hands to relax I have arthritis in my hands and when I asked him to stop after he yanked my arm towards him. I said stop that hurts and he didn't apologize or even say a word to me.Then he started pointing to where he wanted my hand. I was on the verge of tears.My shoulder joint was hurting from him pulling so hard! I'm an older lady with health issues and thought they would at least be gentle if they couldn't be kind. I wasn't going to use them again but had my 20% loyalty card filled and wanted to use it. I don't plan on ever going back. You would think a loyalty card would mean something to them ? I hope no one has to go through what ai experienced. He was mad because I asked him to spray my toes with Alcohol after he used community tools from his cart to clip and file my toenails! Then I asked him to please make sure he got all the old product off my nails , he didn't the last time and one of my nails was lifting after a week...So yes a book of horrible service for an older disabled lady ! i have been to this place twice and they do a good job on their work, what I'm not very happy about is their pricing. my first time going on I got a basic french full set which cost me $60, I come in here again and I get the same French set except I added chrome on top. i obviously knew there would be an add on for the chrome but it ended up being $80. And to be honest I feel like the chrome is barely there, it looks like a very light coat of glitter. I like their work but I don't appreciate places that change prices and add unnecessary charges. I just don't feel like this nails are worth $80. read more

The absolute worst place ever!!!!! First of all, I get switched to another nail tech, I'm at the step where I've had my prior nails filed down and now foil and a glove on my hand. The "head" nail tech then files off the residue after I had asked to see the jewels they, she brought out like a few or the same when I did ask "no silver ones though please" I was very polite. Even said "ill tip you well if you can let me see all you have like stickers...etc" she said "oh now we don't do that here we don't have that stuff here, we're very plain" well I've been here before, they do. I wasn't asking for much. I then see some cute daisy stickers on her cart. THATS WHAT I WANTED. Yet they don't have that stuff. smh im disgusted and feel like some people need a slap in the face with a chair!!!! I also asked for a nail type c curve that I've had here before. They said no. As I'm getting my nails prior taken off, she stops and says we can't do it because your nail is bleeding. (cuticle) in little spots. All of a sudden after all you've already done. SCREW THIS PLACE. I was a loyal customer at this salon for 5 years, always tipped well, and genuinely enjoyed coming here -- until my last experience. I walked in for an appointment and had already started getting my nails done when a different employee (not even the one working on me that day) came up and said, "Venmo tip? I didn't get a tip from you." I was completely confused at first -- then realized she was referring to an appointment from two months ago. She was asking me, in front of others, why she didn't receive a tip from that visit. First of all, that is incredibly unprofessional. Second, I did tip. Even though I absolutely shouldn't have had to, I pulled up my Venmo and showed her the transaction from two months prior to prove it. As a long-time customer who consistently tips and has supported this business for years, being confronted like that was embarrassing and rude. To make matters worse, they've removed the tip option when paying with a credit card and now push Venmo tips instead. It feels shady and uncomfortable, and it puts customers in awkward situations like this. After five years, that interaction was enough for me to leave. I've since started going to a different salon in Parker, and the difference in professionalism and customer service is night and day. Very disappointing way to treat loyal clients. read more

I followed my nail tech here from Bella V in Parker Rd. The salon is owned and operated by her sister-in-law. Due to the bad reviews several years ago I believe that the salon is under new management. They are still very busy and have a constant stream of customer with and without appointments. I haven't had a bad experience here and don't think I will. Everything is clean and I am always taken right back when I make an appointment ahead of time. I highly recommend Katie as she is my favorite and I have been going to her for years. Phoebe is also great. I've had other techs do my pedicures and they've done a good job as well. I usually opt for a deluxe pedicure with gel polish and a dip manicure. They have several wonderful scents to choose from for their pedicures and a ton of colors in both gel polish and dip powder. I've also had my brows waxed here and they do a great job with that as well. I especially like that they offer your choice of complimentary red wine, white wine or soda to enjoy during your services. read more

I've been going to Tipsy Nails for the last 3 years. This last year I have noticed a big decline in service and product. I understand it is a business and prices go up but now they charge to cut your nails down (cut the length) for a rebase because they have to "reshape the short nails now". Came here as a recommendation from a couple neighbors. I was excited to treat myself since I don't do my nails often. I was so sad leaving I ended up crying to my husband because I hated my nails. I wanted short round with a white chrome and neon stripe. Instead I got white blobs and cuts. Neither of my hands matched shape. The acrylic was thick so it just looked like a blob. The lady also cut me several times even after pulling away many times. Did not get my design and was told it's too late. Not even 24 hours had gone by before the "chrome" or whatever topping she did was peeling off. Called back shortly after leaving to complain about how awful they were. She offered for me to go back. Fast forward to this morning, walk in and am told there is nothing wrong with them and I am just super picky. This is the second time I went to this nail salon, I wasn't happy with the service I received. The first time I went there the massage chair wasn't working so Andy was very upset when I asked to move to a chair that was working. After the move he was very agitated and annoyed. This time I had to go with Andy once again. I asked him to do my nails like the nail in the book. He started raising his voice and keep saying it was like the book. Then another women intervened and said no it's not at all like the nail in your book. So Andy finished my nails in a very aggressive manner. My nails look like my kid done them. I'll post pictures. My 17 y.o. daughter went to Tipsy Nails for a dip nail. The technician insisted that she get an acrylic, but my daugher declined (she was spending her own money that she worked for). After repeated back and forth, the technician pressured her to to get an acrylic. My daughter needed her nails so reluctantly agreed. She received the bill and saw it was much more than the dip ($100 vs $70). She told her mother who approached the manager. The manager insisted that my daughter agreed and offered to refund $10 or to bring daughter back for the dip, but my wife said it wasn't about refund, but an apology that they had acted improperly. That was never received. Speaking with my daughter, she mentioned that this had also heard the same had happened to her other friends. So I went to the store asking to speak with the owner or manager. A man said they dont' have a manager (he was a translator). I asked for the owner's phone #, but received a card with the store's phone #. They tried to repeat the story of daughter agreeing for the upgrade, saying they apologized to my wife, and said they'd offered her 100% refund. All bold faced lies. This is a business that can't be trusted with honest management practices. On the positive, the nail service was okay...daughter wanted longer nails (hers were natural), and they cut them down short. Instead of being able to contact the owner to complain, I'm leaving this very open complain for the benefit of the community. read more

I have been here many times over 2 years. At first, I was pleased w/ the service and quality however, over the last year, I have had several different nail techs who have treated me poorly, and/or produced an inferior manicure. I always do dip nails, I scheduled an appt in Dec. -I was given a new nail tech for dip nails. she literally was frowned at me during the entire manicure & my nails are so thick, they look like gum drops are sitting on my nail beds. She put 2 acrylic tips on crooked/not straight but when I asked her about it , she told me my fingers were crooked (lol) not the acrylic tip she put on. The tech scowled at me again when I paid even though I still gave her A 20% cash tip -for a wasted manicure and terrible service that took her 1 hr 45 min! To complete. I considered going back the next day for a refund but honestly , I'll just never be back. They are awful. If you know who is experienced by name & request an appointment with them, you will be fine -otherwise forget it. Serious waste of time and money. So disappointed. read more

This is an update to my earlier review. I have been going to Tipsy Nails ever since I wrote that review a few years ago. I have been mostly happy with their service until yesterday. My mom and I arrived for our appointments (we both had an appt at the same time for different services) and checked in. Within 5 minutes they had started my mother's service. I sat there for another twenty to thirty minutes while they slowly took everyone else that was waiting. They did not explain anything to me. They did not address the fact that it was a good forty minutes past my appointment start time by that point. I am done. I left without receiving my service. I just got a French tip on acrylic nails and the sides of 4/5 of my fingers are chipped and poorly done. It looks like it was done about 2 weeks ago as a result. The ladies seem to get annoyed when you pause to look at your nails to make sure you like it and grab your hand to continue....
