I've been a long-time customer at this tire shop, along with my husband and family. However, a recent incident has raised serious concerns. They installed a used tire on my car last week, and while everything initially seemed fine, a visit to the Ford dealership with car tune ups, they alerted me that the tire's voltage was incorrect for my SUV. It was 107 volts instead of the required 110h for my car's weight. They alerted me that this is very unsafe, and my car weight is heavy for this volt. It can be above 110 but can't be below. I had called Tires sales Tony that day when I found out, and they told me no worries come in and we will return. Upon returning to the tire shop to address the issue, I faced aggression/ very unprofessional behavior. Despite my attempts to clarify that it was a voltage problem, not a size issue, a person in the photo became confrontational, called me a very offensive bad word in Spanish, and then telling his worker to give me my refund. As I confronted him on how rude it was to call me such a nasty bad word to his coworker he had a smirk walking away. He argued that the tire size was correct, and I didn't disagree to this. I told him, THE VOLTAGE was the issue. Even after showing another worker my car's specifications, he argued. He then came up to me very closely aggressively getting more upset at me.It made me feel really unsafe. After he continued to argue with me, I told him the ford dealership who are also experts told me having a tire with lower voltage can cause my tire to pop/ something else can happen as it can't handle the weight of my car. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the individual in the photo was concerning. I asked for his name several times, and also asked the workers their for his name and he refused and said no. He was dismissive, confrontational, and made me feel very unsafe. As a mother of three, including an infant, I drive daily, the potential safety risk this could have caused me. In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing this tire shop. They might know what they are talking about, but they also don't seem intelligent when it comes to things like voltage specifications. The lack of consideration for crucial specifications and the aggressive behavior towards customers, especially women, makes it an unsafe and unprofessional place to do business. When I told the employee or owner the size of tire he said they didn't have any used sets and that the only tires they had were $180 a piece. I went there early on a weekday hoping to get a tire of mine looked at becaue of a slow leak it had. One of the men working there and approached me asking what I was looking for, to get the tire checked and hopefully get is fixed or get a used tire. Sadly to no fault of their own they didn't have my tire size, but instead of taking the current tire off and checking for the issue he just said the tire was gonna pop at some point due to how it looked. I was confused because he never took the tire off the car just kind of looked at it and said that it was not going to last and that his new tires cost $160. I for sure didn't have $160 to drop on a new tire and was kind of floored by how little he did to check the tire. I have gone here multiple times in the past when I was with my ex. He would come with me and they were never dismissive when he was around so I definitely won't be going back. I went to H&J tires and they happily took the wheel off inspected it, saw there was some rust that needed to be cleaned off, did so, put air in all my tires and them came out and reassured me that my tire wasn't going to pop while I drove and I paid $40. read more

What on earth just happened to me?! About a week ago, I had a flat. Took it to Tony. He sold me a new used tire for $55. Great deal. ...then a couple days ago the new tire went flat. So, this time I had my spare put on which come to find out was a brand new Michelin (you gotta love used Mercedes...). The guy who put my spare on said the tire that went flat was fine and had no punctures and that I probably had a leaky valve. One doesn't usually have a flat tire twice on the same wheel a week apart. So I came back, told these guys I might have a leaky valve or some other non-tire related problem, asked them to take a look. They looked the tire they JUST sold me over and said it was bad. They could give me a new one for $55. I tried to explain that they sold me the bad one and that I would not like to spend $55 on another one if they sold me a bad tire. ...they just looked at each other. No refund offer, nothing. Then one of the guys told me the Michelin spare was no good and I needed to buy that new tire. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Is it the whole "me lady, me not know how cars work" BS they're trying with me? Truly a great experience. To my dismay, our tire pressure warning light came on as we were crossing the Richmond bridge. The PSI was in rapid decline as we crossed over to Marin County. It could have gone downhill from there, but we found Tony and 25 minutes later we were back on the road. He could have tried to sell me a tire, he has thousands at his shop. He could have left early, it was Sunday at noon. He could have charged me whatever he wanted, I needed to be back on the freeway. I stumbled upon it only because my tire failed me right off the same exit off the 101. Quick and painless. No language barrier here just in case your Spanish isn't passeable. They use a square reader for CC payments. I wouldn't trust them to do my wheel alignment necessarily but for above average used tires it's a hidden gem. I would expect this spot in SF or the East Bay but north of the Golden Gate in snobby haoleville of all places?! No wonder why NO ONE was there when I rolled up. What a great experience I had with Tire Sales Tony. Sunday morning we called right when they opened and confirmed they had the tire we needed for our trailer. He told us we could come over right away and we were there in ten minutes. He was just finishing up another car when we pulled up and told us to park right out front. Within minutes of finishing the other car, he already had our tire off and was taking it to the back to change it. We were just sitting in the truck and didn't even know he was doing anything until we felt the trailer start to shift. 20 minutes later or less, the tire was changed and we never even had to leave our truck.
