We discovered a local gem tonight. Our VERY heavy commercial plumbing box truck was laid up in someone's driveway on a job with a flat rear tire. AAA doesn't do commercial vehicles, it takes more than your average jack to lift that beast, and it was 7:30 p.m. A towing buddy of mine told me about Tyrone who owns Tires R Us and I'll tell you he saved the DAY! He came right to us after the job he was on in Piscataway (we were in New Prov). He double jacked it up taking care NOT to use a bottle jack so as not to ruin our customer's driveway, switched out our tire, and filled the spare with an onboard air compressor. He is so knowledgeable, very fairly priced and just a really nice guy! Deserves every one of these stars. I got a flat tire on the New Jersey turnpike traveling down to Virginia and everywhere else was closed. I thought I was going to have to spend the night in the area but, in a last ditch effort, decided to give Tires R Us a call. He came and met me and within 30 minutes had a new tire on my car. I had a nail in my tire and was told by my dealer that the tire was back ordered until July. I have an 80 mile daily commute and was stressed. Got a nail in a tire about 2 months ago. Found Tires R Us through yelp/google reviews and was not disappointed. The location is hard to spot but the service was quick and reasonably priced. They gave me good advice on my tires and did a great job with repairs. 2 months later, still no issues. I also really appreciated how Tyrone was teaching a new employee with patience and kindness. Great service. Reached out on a Sunday where most places are closed, and Tyrone helped me out. I had a leak in my tire, and he figured out I had a crack in my rim.
