I take my shirts there regularly to be laundered. The staff is pleasant and quick. My items have been ready when promised. I think that their prices are a bit on the high side, but I have not experienced any dissatisfaction with their service. This seems like a typical cleaners with a lot of clutter. I think there a good option in the area. I thought the sign on their door stated that their hours are until 7pm versus the 8pm published here in Yelp, but I may be mistaken. read more

I just spent $80 at this dry cleaner for 6 different articles. My cream colored suit jacket came back with a giant orange stain down the middle of the zipper and on both sleeves. I went back to the store and asked them what happened, the woman at the desk came up with six different reasons, and told me to blame the manufacture of the suit. The jacket is a St. Johns jacket. I asked for at least a refund on the one jacket which was $13 and she told me no because it was the manufacturers fault. My $200 jacket is now ruined. I've used them intermittently for years. They always do a good job, turn around my orders quickly, and offer a midweek discount for shirt laundering. The only reason I've gone to other cleaners is their price. The one thing I've learned about cleaners is that you get what you pay for and the discount cleaners don't do as good of a job as Tirpok. I'm not using a lot of work clothes anymore so my cleaning expenses are much lower than they used to be, but when I do need my suit cleaned or a couple of shirts washed and pressed, I'm still very happy with Tirpok. read more

Sorry we won't be using your services again - I lost several items during the fire, my shirt alone was 400.00 custom tailored. You can take me off this list I will never recommend or use Tirpok again. Keep your 5 bucks and take me off your list. The community was there for you but at the end of the day, Tirpok took care of themselves. $$ Andrew a claim was filed with Tirpok with receipts, the adjusted claim didn't cover my gas to get back and forth from my home to Tirpok. SPAM-CAN compliance requires all solicitation to be opted in with an appropriate opt out option according to Federal Regulation which also carries stiff penalties when not adhered to. I've used Tirpok for over 20 years...quality has deteriorated last few years- shirts returned with holes, missing buttons, stains that were never there...then one of my expensive suit pants never came back...I reported it missing...the lady checked the computer and said no pants matched the rfid tag as checked in...I retorted - nothing done to compensate..that was then... Now it has been over a year since their Flemington facility caught fire and they still can't do priority next day - 6 day is best turnaround?? In the meantime I've been using a dry cleaner 30 minutes away, next day service, cheaper, and also run by Americans..couldn't be happier. Advice: stick to the small town shops who don't send their laundry to mass production 3rd party dry cleaning joints! Tirpok can't handle the volume and the quality is only suffering more! I've done my dry cleaning research btw. Shame a decades long family owned business is too cheap to pony up bucks for better service. I don't like leaving negative reviews so I will start off with the positives. I've been getting my clothes cleaned at Tirpok for the past few months. I've always received them on time, in good condition for a reasonable price. My experience this past week was very different. I had a special work event today (Wednesday) that required me to wear my suit pants. I dropped my clothes off earlier than normal just to be sure they would be ready on time. They scheduled me for Tuesday night pick up after 5. When I arrived the girl said, "that's weird it says they were supposed to be ready today but they haven't been cleaned yet". Another lady came up and said"oh yea they (the person who cleans the clothes) told me at 3:00 that they made it into the wrong bin and won't be cleaned until tomorrow. Why didn't anyone call to tell me this? As I stood there trying to figure out what I am going to do, they just went about there business and gave no apologies. I spent the night running around trying to find a pair of pants that matched my suit jacket, costing me $200. The next day I went to pick up my clothes expecting some sort of discount and was told I can't leave with my stuff unless I pay the full price. I'm sorry but your companies mistake cost me $200. After going back and forth a couple of times, I was eventually given a 10% discount ($2 off). I know mistakes happen but there are several things that could have been done differently. The ladies at the front desk may not have been responsible for this, but from someone who has been in the customer service business, they should have at least pretended to care. But the lack of accountability in them definitely doesn't make me comfortable to bring my clothes back. read more

One time my shirts were misplaced because one their stores had the misfortune of burning down to the ground. This caused some chaotic time for them as you can imagine but they found my shirts and were overly generous by offering me additional free dry cleaning. Unbelievable! read more

He explained that the price list is at the counter and that they do offer discounted services and there are coupons available. I have so much respect for any owner that takes that much pride in customer service. They stand behind their business and I think that is priceless. Don't let my first review sway you at all. The worst dry cleaner I have ever used and I've been wearing dress shirts for work for 25 years. I decided to give them a try and dropped off 17 shirts and picked them up and 13 looked like they dragged them through the parking lot; wrinkled, collars a mess, top button unbuttoned, etc. I decided to bring back and complain as they charged me $72 for the shirts and two pairs of pants. I asked to speak to the manager and the girl at the counter told me that her manager was "out" and I asked if she knew when she would be back. Her manager was outside picking weeds in the parking lot. The manager apologized, unlike other employee, and told me would have them redone at another facility as the one they normally use has issues. I picked up the shirts and they were in horrible condition again. I told the woman behind counter I was disappointed and she said "we can't be held responsible for the quality of the dry cleaning". I looked at her like she was nuts and said " how can you say that?" Then, she told me I owed $25 as she charged me $2.78 per shirt to dry clean some of them again. I had to give them 1 star but would rather give zero!!! I took my 15 pieces of clothing to their Clinton store. Most unfriendly staff ever not to mention clueless! I saw they had a fire at their Flemington location, not to worry since mine were in Clinton. I was never notified. I show up to pick up my dry cleaning the first week of May 2017 and they tell me oh your clothes were being cleaned in Flemington and were in the fire! Of course I am extremely pissed and they say, here is a form, fill it out and bring it back if you want to be reimbursed. So I filled it out, being very conservative on the value of the clothing and it came to $809. I waited over a month before returning to the store to ask about my claim. Clueless staff says uh here is the hot line number you can try that. So of course you call and it is an answering machine...they never pick up the call! I exchanged messages with Cheyenne and we finally spoke. On July 5th, she stated the check was cut this week and they would mail out checks next week. They did not! I received my check on July 19th but not for $809 but $601. I have left messages to call me as I find this completely unacceptable! I wait for 2 1/2 months to get my check and they short me over $200! How do you treat people like that and expect them to ever to return to you for business! Please share this with anyone and everyone that uses dry cleaning services! They are a horrible business and would not recommend to anyone! They are OK, I'll give them between 2-3 stars, or average. Good points are that clothes are ready on time, I have not had any problems with the quality. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. I brought a dress there to be cleaned and got it back and it was completely stretched out and pressed incorrectly. The dress was designer, and quite expensive and now is ruined. When I went back to tell them what they did, the worker was very rude and just said they could re-press it. When I told them the fabric had been stretched and the neckline was ruined, she rudely dismissed it and told me it wasn't stretched. They know nothing about fabrics and do not know the way to handle delicate pieces. If you have a polyester jacket that anyone could clean, bring it there however, anything worth of any sort of value STAY FAR AWAY. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Never giving them my business again. When I picked them up, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that not only was the stain removed, but my cash was also returned. How nice to know that honest employees still exist. If I had known how this place ran their business, I would have never stepped through their door. Staff is EXTREMELY rude. They shredded my father's brand new shirt years ago (something he told me after this horrible experience) and by the looks of these reviews they haven't changed their ways. I gave them my new comforter to get cleaned and it wasn't even done by the time/date that they gave me. I had already delayed picking it up THREE DAYS after the 9 days they allotted. When I went in to pick it up, expecting it to be done, the disgruntled woman at the counter said it hadn't even been cleaned yet. After I asked why it hadn't been cleaned, she went to the back and said she didn't even know WHERE my comforter was. She told me to "try again" after the weekend.
