Now that was pretty twisted and ROFL scenario how an heirloom makes its way as an heirloom. I remember as a child playing with my grandfathers Omega, one of his prized possessions, thinking that I was an adult. After he had passed, it has gone onto my father, an at some point it will move onto me. It certainly does not have the sordid past as the Pulp Fiction watch, but it certainly now has become and heirloom. As one of the most well known watches in the world, it's been ot the moon, it's associated with famous people both real and fictitious (like 007), and it is something that will always be a classic. There are many well known Swiss chronograph manufacturers but Omega's brand and quality definitely stands out amongst the rest

Stopped in Avenches for the Roman Theatre. Lacked some groceries for the evening and shopped in…read morethis smaller supermarket. Got everything we needed. Milk, veggies, pasta, some wine. Selection isn't huge though and prices higher than in one of the swiss chains. Staff was ok, but not more than that. It's fine to do some quick shopping. For more I'd head somewhere else.
