Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae).
