The studio is beautifully themed and branded. I really appreciated the London Underground murals on the wall from escalators to tube doors to giant tickets and even a little cartoon rat! The travel theme extends to lovely antique cases and trunks around the shop too. The permanent staff here have all been really friendly and looked after us well. The art I have seen has been good too! It's very clean and the barber shop is well separated from the tattooing area.

I booked the appointment and paid a £20 deposit and only when I got the confirmation stating the address in Ilford I realised the mistake and cancelled the booking within 7 min (this was late night so wouldn't get picked up by the shop immediately anyway) I was aware of the non refundable deposit but due to the nature of the mistake I was confident that I could call them up next day and explain and get the £20 refunded. It took 40 min for someone to pick up and after explaining the issue the phone was passed to a manager. The lady I talked to was rude and hostile throughout the whole conversation. She told me it wasn't her problem and not her mistake and how it couldn't be possible. I told her that I would take a video clip of me being directed to the website by google so she could see how I couldn't have known. After reviewing the video she comes to the same conclusion that it wasn't her problem and she wouldn't give me the money. I haven't used this tattooist but I'm officially still a paying customer because if this incident and I have never experienced customer service so poor. I tried to explain and not blaming them just asking nicely for a refund but she wasn't having it. Wouldn't recommend doing business with this kind of shady business.

I got lots of advice and suggestions from Myles who drew a couple of custom pieces for me. The price I paid was second to none considering how close this studio is to London. They also have a couple of other tattoo artists and someone who does piercings. I would highly recommend a trip to Cherrys to check out Myles work. I'm a student in Boston and was visiting some friends over in Walthamstow and this studio was just down the block. I walked in hoping to discuss what I wanted with the guys in there and walked back out with an appointment for the next day. Tommy ROCKS! :) He made my goofball tattoo idea uber cool....My tattoo is great and healed up well and the studio itself is small clean and modern...
