TNT Carports, Barns.com, and carports.com are all the same company and are affiliated with Coast to coast carports... all have F ratings with the BBB (see the BBB screenshot). SCAM!! They'll take a deposit and ghost. In late 2022 I entered into an agreement with TNT Carports, Inc to purchase/install a shed. A downpayment was made at that time. In mid May of 2023 the foundation was poured. There were some delays due to wet soil conditions. At the end of May 2023 I contacted Coast to Coast carports to let them know we were ready for installation. I do not know Coast to Coast's affiliation with TNT but believe they were contracted as a third party to complete the installation. I have been contacting Coast to Coast over the last 6 months requesting the installation. I have not been given any dates and have requested at least an estimate for completion and have not received a responses. My communications through email and phone calls are going unanswered. read more

Paid for a carport in November of 2020. Put 10% down and have called multiple times, no answer and no estimated delivery. WHAT A SCAM

On March 9 we gave Evans carports and More (Sparta), a deposit check for $200 for the installation of a 12X21 carport. Regina was to meet us in her office but was a no show and we left the check with her husband and received no contract. A contract was emailed to me and I signed it at home and emailed it back. However I only got the face copy not the back and no 3 day cancel in writing or on my wife's phone, I'm deaf and can't use a phone. We were told via phone the installation would be done on 27th of April but they were no shows. They arrived on the 28th but forgot parts and left. Back again on the 29th and started to install. I pointed out many damaged panels but the independent contractor boss said "I only install what they give me" and put the damaged panels on. I complained to Evans via email and she forwarded my mail to the TNT scheduler and nothing was done. It rained and the carport was leaking like a sieve. On the 15th of May two men showed up with one roof panel to replace one that was all scratched up. They did change the level of the carport and said it was not done properly but never solved the leak problem. The carport has a two tone roof inside which is ridiculous, beige and grey. Looks like they ran out of panels. We paid extra for mobile home anchors but two are screw in and two are for asphalt and without having asphalt I would reject them, gravel base and they need to be changed to the proper anchors. I can only describe this installation as about as slip-shod as they get. The carport still has damaged panels on the roof and still leaks a lot. Evans carports in Sparta is the dealer and we have tried to work through her but all she does is foreword my emails to TNT and no action is taken. We would like to end this disaster and have a properly built carport. We have not paid for it yet and offered to just have them take it down and remove it. read more

This review will hopefully be direct and to the point. I have bought numerous carports from Carports.com and TNT Carports over several different occasions. Never have I had the horrible experience that I have had on this go around. The FIRST install crew arrived the night before the scheduled installation date and left their trailer over night. This was not a big issue. They started working very early the next morning, and were gone when I arrived home from work. Unfortunately they did not anchor the carports to the mobile home anchors and one of the two carports was missing a front gable. I made three calls over the next two weeks to try to get a crew back out to complete the job. No one would return my calls and when I did get through to someone, I was on terminal hold multiple times. The second install crew was finally scheduled to return to complete the job, but they did not arrive on the day promised. They did show up unannounced at 7pm the next day. When it was all said and done, both install crews left a lot of self-tapping screws around the ground and scrap pieces stacked along side the carports. Even when it was time to pay, I was left on terminal hold several times, and I never even got a confirmation number proving that my charge went through. This is the worst experience I have had with them. read more

I will never do business with them again. A few years ago I bought a carport from them. Still under warranty. 2 panels are rusting. I contacted customer service. Got a lady who was very curt. She stated that " they do not honor the warranty. That is done by the manufacture" Here is an excerpt from the warranty listed on their web site. " Seller warrants the framing elements and roofing material only against rust-through for twenty (20) years from installation, assuming normal user care and maintenance. " The customer service rep gave me a phone number of the company that installed it. I talked to a lady there and she said that they get calls all the time about warranty work. This company in lake city Fl bought out the company who installed my carport and do not honor any warranties over 2 years old. I still go back to the warranty quote above. TNT carports should honor the warrant but refuse to do so. How in the world has not the attorney General in North Carolina went after these scamsters. read more

Ordered a carport from them, payed my deposit, waited 8 weeks no one contacted to tell me when it would be getting it installed, so I called them at least 10 times and only to get answering machines and no one every called me back. So after many times of calling I would dial zero when I called there number and they just put through to answering machines that no one returned my calls. I just wanted to know if they had my order. Finally after extension zero I demanded that they do not put me through to another machine, they put someone on and he put me on hold for 30 minutes. Only to come back and say we never got your order. Now I have to wait to get my deposit back. read more

I work offshore and my carport was installed while I was away. The installers asked my wife if we had any blocks or pads for the carport to set on and for some money as "they were short on funds for the next job." She declined giving them any money and instructed them that the pads (which I purchased in advance) were staged on a trailer 4 feet from where the back side of the unit would sit. They removed two pads and left them on the ground next to the trailer and did not put the pads under the sides of the carport. I am very disappointed with the "professionalism" of the installers. I tried to contact Corina "the Texas representative" for three weeks leaving multiple voicemails and finally got to talk to her with nothing but excuses. Based on this experience, I will just return my business to General Shelters. The carport is exactly what I ordered, the professionalism is non-existent. read more

We ordered a carport from carports.com aka TNT. The salesman keyed in our credit card incorrectly & did not call us back. We called him. He then said we would rec'v our e reciept in a few days & set up instructions. The following week I re-e mailed. He forwarded our receipt he had sent to the wrong e mail address. Total time prior to actual order entered was over 3 weeks, yet our credit card was charged the day he keyed the number in correctly. If you want a carport, contact a company in your area. Works a lot better & you don't spend over $100 for nothing. read more

Worst company I have ever tried to use. Their Southern charm ends when they screw up your order and then want you to suffer because of their mistakes. First they quoted me the wrong price and then called to tell me it was going to be more than they quoted. Next they scheduled a install date and brought the wrong building. They wanted me to take another day off work to fix their mistake and were not willing to work with my schedule. Their man showed up at 4PM with wrong building and then said 4pm would not work for the next attempt to install because that wouldn't give them enough time to finish install. When I asked them how they were going to do it that day if they didn't show up till 4 they hung up on me. Still fighting to get my deposit back. Don't recommend them! read more
