I sold rocks to this company in which I was told they would have a check to me the next day after the collected a 300k check. I contacted "Spencer " and he was now on vacation. Apparently with my money because they never paid and won't return a call. Learned from others they owe others the same and were cut off by suppliers in the area for non payment. Disappointed. I made contact and arranged for an individual to come out and prepare a quote. He sent an email with an estimate for what it would cost, but it was not a firm bid. I inquired if it included necessary permits. Initially the individual said it wouldn't require any. After a bit of prodding he indicated we should apply for a soil/erosion permit. He sent the form and I filled out my part and sent it back. I inquired more about if a DEQ permit would be required. He didn't give a firm answer but indicated he would find out. I have tried calling his mobile phone, emailing, and contacting their office with no response. My only assumption is that they wanted to do the work without a necessary permit for which I would be on the hook for ... and when pressed they simply disappeared. read more

We contacted TNT about fixing/rebuilding our permanent dock. Initially they were very responsive and came out right away to give us a quote. Once we had the quote we had some questions and again they were very responsive. We signed a contract with them and sent a 60% deposit. This was in April of 2021. As per our conversations TNT agreed to begin the work in mid to late May with the expectation that it would be finished by the end of June at the latest. They were to be responsible for obtaining the necessary permits. We had not heard anything from TNT towards the end of May so we called to inquire as to what was going on with our project. We were told that they'd be starting very soon. We asked if they had the permits and the answer was very vague, which made us uneasy. We then called the State of Michigan DNR and found out that TNT had not applied for any permits and that the lead time for getting a permit was out 5-6 weeks. We called TNT back, and after some more vague answers, we figured out that they were most likely going to do the work without any permits. That was not acceptable in our opinion. So after some research on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau websites (very bad reviews) we decided to cancel the project. We were able to schedule a meeting with TNT, only to talk to one of the employees and not the owner. We were promised a refund, but only after the 90 day waiting period that was stipulated in the contract. That 90 days expired on July 7, 2021 and we still have not received our money as of today (8/2/21). We have retained an attorney to pursue getting our money back. It turns out that the attorney has had previous dealings with TNT and in each case he filed suit against them. So far they have not responded to his correspondence concerning our matter. We strongly recommend not doing business with this company. They have a long history of doing poor work or no work at all, and non-payment of bills or refunds. We wish we had done a better job of researching this company prior to dealing with them. We would give them zero stars if that was possible. read more

I had contacted so many different lawn services late in the year to do my yard (my fault) and only a few got back to me. The late winter pushed everyone's schedule back, and it was hard to find anyone to do a spring clean up. The guys at TNT got back to me fast, they got me on the schedule for next week as well as my neighbor, and before I knew it, there was guy there bright and early Monday morning. I wasn't sure that one guy could handle both our yards in one day, but he above and beyond. Leaves that have sat dormant for years were gone, places I couldn't get to clean up were cleared, and the yard around my house feels fresher than it has in years. Thank you, guys, so so much, I am so happy, and I know that my neighbor is very happy as well. You did such diligent work all in one day, I am so impressed and definitely will be contacting you for any further spring clean ups I have. read more

BELOW 1 Star- March 24, 2021 - Contracted to remove old dock and build a new dock in Bellaire. Immediate response was excellent until Taylor received 60% down for project (April 1). Took weeks to track anyone down. When I finally spoke to Trisha, I was informed the dock permit would be issued the next day. A few more weeks went by with no return calls/txts/emails. I called the DEQ. Turned out they had NEVER contacted the DEQ or applied for permit. We immediately cancelled the project. (May 5). They initially refused the full refund. I demanded in person meeting the next day with Taylor. He "no showed". Sent his employee (Spencer, a cousin). Demanded full refund. Spencer agreed and signed statement acknowledging full refund. Still waiting for the $15K. They have until July 7. Have a prominent Traverse City attorney ready to file on July 8 if we have not received the full refund. I would encourage anyone considering this company to research the claims filed at the Better Business Bureau. TNT Outdoor Services (same company) has a grade F. Many of the complaints were filed by senior citizens. How is it possible this company is still permitted to operate? read more
