If you're afraid of needles, Dr Busan does an excellent job administering anesthetic. I had 3 injections, and each time he warned me of a bad pinch, it was actually painless. Right away, he suspected a very rare (1 in 1,000,000) auto-immune disease called Pemphigoid. I believe he has seen only two cases of this in his entire career. My regular dentist had never seen it. Dr. Bernstein did a biopsy on my gums and confirmed his suspicions. From what I know now, some people with this go for years before getting a proper diagnosis. It took me one visit to Dr. Bernstein and a follow-up for the biopsy. Kudos to Dr. Bernstein!

They have done many procedures, fillings, crowns, etc and when there was a problem they didn't do in their office I went to specialists they recommended. I had complete faith in their abilities and even recommended them as an option In May of 2023 I was in the office for routine check up and per usual was told everything looks good and to keep doing what I have been doing and come back in 6 months In July I was having considerable pain in a back molar and made an appointment Phillip took an xray and we decided removing the tooth was needed After it started healing I contacted the office about looking into an implant and they recommended a couple offices. I went to one they recommended and after a thorough exam and consultation I was told I had way bigger problems that needed to be addressed before considering an implant I have advanced periodontal disease and was at risk of losing teeth some of which are part of the 4 bridges I currently have I had several painful and costly procedures to clean up the plaque that has damaged my teeth, roots, and bones. My point is, the hygienists and dentists in Schmitt's office never once recommended I have a deep cleaning or that I see a periodontist I would have done so
