Wow is their brunch good!! We (tourists) stopped in for Sunday brunch after the wait at Blue Moon Cafe was listed at two hours. We picked a table immediately and ordered a couple of very cheap brunch cocktails, both of which were fantastic (the Old Bay rim on the bloody mary was fantastic). The real star, though, was the food. The french toast is made with thick slices of some sort of wide baguette and is easily one of the best versions of french toast I've ever had. My partner had an omelette that was absolutely stuffed with veggies and was perfectly cooked. Only downside is that the service is a bit lacking and the food comes a little slow, but for how good it tastes when it does come it really doesn't matter! read more

If you are looking for a bar with decent food in Fell's Point this isn't a bad place to go. The food and service are fine, but nothing special. We went armed with a gift certificate from restaurant.com that required we spend at least $50, and had to be strategic about what we ordered to make sure we spent enough. Two drinks each, an appetizer, and two entrees bumped us up to $58. Pretty good price for decent food. We started with the sauteed pierogies, which had little flavor, but were fine if you took a bite of pierogi with a bite of the caramelized onion. The greens that accompanied the dish had no dressing or any sort of seasoning, so we didn't eat them, and we felt bad wasting decent food. I ordered TC's Mac & Cheese, and my fiance had the fish and chips. It wasn't the type of cheese I would have selected for Mac & Cheese, and the heat of the jalepeno didn't come through unless you actually ate a jalepeno. The flavors didn't seem to have gotten a chance to meld together. But it was a decent dish, and the fish and chips were pretty solid. I probably wouldn't go back here for a full meal, but probably drinks and appetizers if we wanted to hang out in Fells. read more

Been here a couple times, and the food is surprisingly awesome for a bar. I had the grilled gruyere sandwich, which I loved. They have plenty of veggie options that are tasty and a good selection of beers. I haven't been on a busy night, but it looks like it could be fun (they have trivia nights!) and I can't wait to go again! Came in during the blizzard! I swear to God the patio tables were moving down curb-side due to the heavy winds. My boyfriend and I came in here after we ate at the Blue Moon Café. We were in need of some alcohol and decided to go to the nearest bar since we could barely see outside due to the snow! Once we walked a few feet and entered the bar we were greeted by two super-overly-friendly singing bartenders, who were absolutely adorable. They had great taste in music and also had the dunk contest on which was awesome, because that is exactly what we wanted to watch. We could tell that the other five people in the bar were regulars and we were out of place, however, we moved forward with ordering two glasses of pinot noir. Our bill came to $18.00 and we would not come here again. Two glasses of the smallest serving of wine, is NOT for us. read more

Low-key, divey type of bar that's not quite in the center of activity in Fells Point. They have great edamame and hummus. Decent prices on drinks, and patio seating where people - watching is the only entertainment you'll need. Actually, the night we were there we got to see a high speed chase with circling helicopters, a unicyclist, and a constant parade of buzzed, wannabe comedians. I'll be back! read more

As a bar, it's pretty average. But as far as the food is concerned, it's definitely a step up from your average Fells food options, which is saying something, as Fells has a plethora of decent dining options. As my tip mentioned, don't come here on a cold day at the start of lunch hour. The building heat is not yet up to par for that time of day. Had to keep my coat on. And the table we sat at wobbled. Most places stay on top of problems like that. Would I go back ? Yes, in more temperate weather. Why?- the food and drink list. The cream of crab soup was wonderful, as was the spicy bean with spinach soup. The cook knew how to make these stand out. I tried the pierogies, which seem to be featured. The edges of the pasta were dried out, though the filling was tasty. Others had meatloaf which was quite good, and a properly done burger, too big for lunch size. The draft list was interesting and provided new choices. All-in-all, a 3-star experience with the possibility of more stars in the future if the weather cooperates. And it is so close to some yummy dessert places of Fells Point that the very consciencious staff recommended. read more

Went to Todd Connors Sat night with a group after all other bars were jam packed. Nice little bar with good drinks, decent beer selection and good service. Went back next day for dinner. Had the avocado salad for like $7 and I would have never guessed it was an avocado salad if they just served it to me. The chicken sandwhich on other hand was very good and the homemade chips were nice. My wife had a burger and she enjoyed it. We sat in the back room away from the bar with our 8 month old and it was great. They had several TVs set up to watch the game. Came here with my sister to use a livingsocial deal. We got two burgers (one beef and one chicken) and two craft beers (Southern Tier drafts). The beers were predictibly good and the selection was surprisingly varied. The food was awesome - simple meals but great detail. The service was attentive and friendly but not hovering. My review may be a little biased since this is the Steeler Bar I go to almost every Sunday during football season. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is good for bar food, including perogies. The bartender are almost always accommodating and friendly. For dining, they have a small back room with more seating and outside seating as well.! read more

Came here with my parents and boyfriend on a Friday night around 7pm. Not very crowded, which is good because the dining areas is very small (only a couple of tables). The waiter was nice and very attentive. The beer selection is not the most extensive, but does include some local beers. Our table ordered wings (honey old bay), a burger, fried green beans, the goat grilled cheese, and the seasonal salad. All we're really good, except the friend green beans which just tasted like friend dough (what you would expect). The goat grilled cheese with bacon was amazing. Hanging out down fells point and my friend wanted something to eat, she apparently eats there frequently and said the food was good.i will agree with here the crab cakes were delicious and I'm very picky about crab cakes. I also had sirrachi honey wings they were ok. It wasn't a lot of people in the bar which I enjoyed all to much. Bartenders seem to be attentive. My only dislike was the music bartender played 80's music I was born in 81 and didn't enjoy anything he played basically because I didn't know it. All in all its a pretty good place to hang. I came here for brunch which was pretty good and cheap too. I had the steak and eggs which was above average, though I was confused that it was in the sandwich menu but wasn't a sandwich. French toast was pretty good though it is a little greasy and the grits were better ham I expected. The 4 dollar brunch drinks were good(mimosas and screwdriver). Service was great though I had to ask to get an outside table cleaned. Will come back again for lunch or dinner to try out some other stuff. read more

We went on Saturday afternoon. Beer was cold. Food was good, interesting choices. We tried the fried goat cheese. Needs some sort of sauce, otherwise was tasty. Had the breakfast burger. It had bacon and a fried egg on it. Burger was good but the ciabatta bun was too thick and pretty dry. Fries are very good, seasoned. Kids had Mac n cheese- delish, and a plane ole grilled cheese. Waiter was nice. Food took longer than 'usual' but it was a relaxing afternoon, no reason to rush. read more

So we came into the restaurant and were immediately hesitant to a few more steps. This is not a place to go for atmosphere. However, we continued on despite our trepidations. I am really glad we did. I ordered the BBQ pork and it was some of the best pulled pork I've had in a while. The other guest ordered a veggie pizza which he loved. We also got the fried peanut butter and jelly for dessert. This was one of the best things I've ever tried. Our server also gave great advice and was really friendly. I do have a few small criticisms however. As mentioned above, this is not a beautiful restaurant. Also, the beer selection was not nearly as good as I would have liked. All in all this is a great restaurant but prettiest. Took the family here on Sunday for brunch. The server was on his own, so we were content to wait for everything. However we weren't content to be treated so rudely. Food was mediocre, some stuff was missing off one person's order but we paid anyway, that's how unapproachable the bar tender was . I have been to TC's 4-5 times now. The pizza and salads are delicious. I highly recommend the blue cheese and mushroom or the veggie pizza. They have a great happy hour and cheaper drink prices than other places in Fells. The bartenders have always been friendly and last night we were given a taste of a new martini he was in the process of perfecting. Okay due to covid I have been staying home so this past Friday me and my family decided to stop in while walking through fells.... We walked past and didn't see a lot of people so we decided to go in and get a few drinks. When we came in the one bartender (didn't get his name) didn't even acknowledge us. That was the moment we should have left. Unfortunately we didn't. I asked him about a particular drink and he looked at me as if I was stupid. Once again I ignored it he made the drinks and just walked off. We stood there for a few minutes because we didn't know if the drink was done (hints why I asked about the drink and received no real response) we ended up asking another customer and he told us it was indeed a yagger bomb. Not once did this bartender show any type of customer service out side of making the drink. Asked for the bill he just placed it on the bar and walked off. I'm not sure If he was having a bad day. If our skin color played a part I'm not sure but his energy was off the moment we entered the establishment. I wasn't going to write this review because I prefer to give good ones, but my experience here has left a sour taste in my mouth. I've never in my 30 years been treated so poorly at a establishment. And it's unfortunate we will never ever come back to this establishment. read more

We were visiting from out of town and typically like to find places that are more local and less touristy. Todd Conners was just that and with great food. We had appys and drinks our first time. We had the crab balls, boudin balls as well as the goat cheese appetizer. All were excellent. We went back after going to an O's game and had the crab cakes and the mac & cheese. Again, all were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend. I will be back on my next visit to Baltimore. read more

So I'm going up to Baltimore for a going away party for a couple friends who live in Charles Village. The party was at the Greene Turtle, but we got to Baltimore early and didn't want to be the first people there, so we decided to have a couple beers at another bar in the neighborhood and found this place. Great, friendly little bar. We sat around had a couple beers and played trivial pursuit with a handful of people who looked like regulars. Maybe it was just that I'm used to DC, but the prices were great. I remember looking at the daily specials on the sign and how DC can be so much more expensive than Baltimore. Then I remembered that on the way in we had seen the aftermath of an attempted robbery where a store owner beat the robber with a bat. Maybe stuff like that has something to do with it. read more

I just left this establishment. this was the low point of my visit to Baltimore this weekend. After checking with a server inside Todd's if it was ok to take a table outside, we sat down. The gentleman working today did come over and greet us and get us a glass of water and menus. He also did take our order. All normal parts of dining experience. What happened next has never happened to me before...we proceeded to wait neatly an hour...not checked on once. At the end of the wait( with no refill on the water) the waiter came over with 2 plates...and said ...I brought you some crab cakes, and I'll cancelled your breakfast order. To say I was stunned is an understatement. Why not actually bring the food I ordered? I understand Sundays can be busy, but a wait of almost an hour for food to show up is a bit much. I have never had such a poor experience in a restaurant before. After finding our server and saying thanks but no thanks for the food we didn't order, we left. I hope this is an isolated incident, and not how all of your customers are treated. read more

Worst wings I have ever had in my entire life. Service did their best, but couldn't make up for the bad food and beer. The Natty Boh tap was spitting out half a pint glass of foam each pour and the beer tasted stale or like the tap line was dirty. A hidden gem in Fells Point. Just two blocks off Thames' congestion, Todd Conner's is the quintessential Baltimore watering hole: long bar, excellent drafts, great food, and a terrific staff. I may be biased, as it's also the official bar for Baltimore's Charm City Reds. It has the quirky vibe that Baltimore's famous for, and the patrons are a varied. It's a bar that doesn't take itself too seriously (in a good way). You may well bump into Reds, TC's owner, at the bar next to you. The locals are friendly, even if you're in to watch a Pittsburgh sporting event. It's Steelers friendly (which for some is a cardinal sin in this town) but there's no animosity. The atmosphere is too chill for that. The menu has a balance between traditional and tasty pub grub and creative concoctions (a deep fried cheese steak eggroll made with Guinness braised beef was on the special board last week). The creativity also comes to light in the house infused vodka cocktails, as well as the bacon bloody marys for the weekend brunch. You won't need more than one trip to realize you'll need to come back. read more

That was after waiting 10-15 minutes for our order to be taken. The sandwich was good, but not worth $13, and the salad was mediocre at best. Really disappointed after being a TC fan. Not sure what changed but the quality has gone south very quickly. This was my second attempt to give TC a chance to be redeemed. Ordered the crab cake platter and should have known by the looks that it was not a traditional MD crab cake. The slaw served with it was bitter although the fries were delish. The cake itself tasted like a mix of a few sparse lumps of crab with a codfish cake. I am not sure what it was made of but it was not mostly crab meat. What a $25 disappointment. I think this is the end of the road for me. Dining out is to expensive not to be discriminating given all of the options. read more
