Burris Law helped me with my Mom's probate and estate. They are informative, extremely helpful,…read moreprompt, and understanding. Going through the probate process took a long time(2 and a half years) partial due to the nature of the courts and partially due to some more uncommon issues that came up. Including an existence of a trust, but being unable to locate a copy including finding the attorney who originally set up the trust and asking if they had any copies. Unfortunately, the trust was set up before computer records were common. Another problem they helped me with was SunRun decided, for reasons we were never able to figure out, to try to shut of service even after I had began the process of transferring everything into my name and was only then waiting on the deed for the house that I wouldn't have until probate was over. Getting a letter saying SunRun was going to deactivate my service for being overdue on payments while in the same letter saying I owed no money and was 0 days past due was confusing and was confusingto every SunRunemployeei spoke to and none could give me answers. Burris Law helped me tremendously with this and without their help I don't know what would have happened in the end. I can't say enough nice things about them. They sent me 2 small care packages during the process and it was really nice to get something positive in the mail during a time when I was getting anxiety every time the mail came. Even after probate has been over for a year they answer any questions I have that come up. Retaining their services was expensive, as it would have been for any probate attorney, and it was worth every cent. When I'm in a better spot I'll be back to set up my own trust with their help.

I highly recommend Edward Stemmer and the entire team at NM Law. Prior to finding Edward, I spent…read moreweeks searching for a qualified attorney to assist me with the administration portion of my dad's trust. Finding a reliable attorney was significantly more challenging than expected, and I started to give up hope that I would ever find the right firm to help me. As soon as I spoke to Edward on the phone, I knew he was the perfect attorney for the project. During my initial consultation, Edward walked me through what needed to be completed to successfully administer the trust. From this point forward, he was always timely, understanding, and focused on delivering excellent results. From start to finish, Edward made the process nearly effortless for me. This gave me the time and peace of mind to focus my energy on grieving the loss of my beautiful 96-year-old dad. I am forever grateful to Edward and NM Law for caring enough to take my case and deliver excellent results. If you are searching for a high-quality trust attorney, don't hesitate to contact Edward at NM Law.

We were referred to an attorney at NM Law to gain conservatorship of our 19 y.o. autistic niece…read more The original estimate was $5,000 but due to the very strange way that the San Francisco courts operate, they had to re-do paperwork multiple times that would have been acceptable anywhere else in CA. They also rang up $$ because the court forced them to search for our niece's mother, who abandoned her and moved outside the USA with no forwarding info. Affidavits from her ex and her family were not acceptable by SF -- oh joy. So yes, it cost over double the estimate, and they could have thrown their hands up and told us to go elsewhere -- but they didn't -- they played the San Francisco game with unlimited patience. And they won. Yee-haw!

To be honest, I had my doubts with all these negative reviews and with the fishy letter everyone here seems to get but they were the first to reach out to me even before the ACTUAL subpoena was sent so I went with them. Don't listen to the idiots here... the letter is probably REAL--all you have to do is type in the CASE NUMBER into the ACTUAL COURT website and you'll see right away if it's phony or not. I had my doubts and I may not agree with how they run their businesses, but at the end of the day, these are REAL lawyers and they will show up and handle your case. I decided to have them represent me for a TRO because 1) I know I will say something stupid that could hurt my case and 2) I know I have a slim chance of winning considering how detailed my exgf's testimony was against me. I spoke to Atty. Ryan, Aiden, and Michael and they all gave great advice. Even though David took on my case, they worked as a team to come up with many strategies to approach this. I lacked any confidence in winning this difficult case but David took the time to reach out to me, even when it intruded into his "family" hours and he had to repeat himself many times to assure me. He also sat down with me in person to go over the winning strategy. I don't want to go over too much about my case, but surprisingly we did better than we BOTH expected. I personally thought my exgf had a really good case against me--she was so confident she could win that she refused to settle out of court. BAM!! Turns out that the judge gave me a slap on the wrist compared to what we were willing to settle out of court! The whole event felt like a movie. Bottom line is that you just have to put your TRUST into them during the whole process and let them do their thing in front of the judge at the actual hearing. I would definitely call it a win. Thanks David! I don't write reviews but this is the least I can do for you man!!
