Contacted company and explained that he works away has only just returned and the boots are too small. I was advised they couldn't exchange but if I returned them they would refund me . So I packaged them up and paid for the return postage. Today they sent me an email saying they wouldn't refund them and have returned the boots to me via Royal Mail. Shame on you Gaynors…read more I paid £150.00 plus postage via Gaynors Amazon selling site. What I received was a pair of boots with a Gayners shop price tag on them of £99.99. When I checked their website they were selling them for £89.99. The boots were also delivered in a "Merrell company" box and not the original "the north face" company box suggesting to me they were ex-display stock and not brand new out the box stock. When I contacted Gaynors to point out their "mistake" I was told in no uncertain terms by their manager "Rob" that they had done nothing wrong and that the fact I paid the Amazon price of £150.00 plus p&p was not their problem but mine and they are quite at liberty to sell at such vastly different prices if they so wished. They totally dismissed my complaint and were not interested in customer satisfaction. Shame on you Gaynors.

They also sell all of the little gadgets that you would need to go waking in the lake district and in this area it is best to be prepared. You can get everything from your walking sticks to a gps here. They do sometimes have sales on the gps systems but normally they are more expensive that elsewhere. They have a good range of rucksacks of all sizes. The footwear that they sell is quite decent but pricey for what you get and nothing that you cant get in other outdoor shops in the area
