I had a fantastic experience at this Togo's location this morning! I came in with a somewhat large order of seven sandwiches, and the two young women working were absolutely wonderful. Even with a multi item order, they were quick and efficient, getting everything prepared perfectly without a long wait. Beyond the speed, they were both incredibly lovely and kind, making the whole process stress free. It's rare to get such great service during a morning rush kudos to the team! Hearing TOGO's has a pretty swell Birthday Promo, I decided to download the app, sign up for their Rewards, and redeem my free sandwich. Italian sandwich- Can't go wrong with the fatty cold cuts of an Italian sandwich. Stuffed with ingredients, the Italian was filling & satisfying. I'm unsure if they can scoop out some of the bread, to make it less carb like another franchise. If they do, I'd choose that option, as I found the bread a bit thick. Service was great. Two employees were working behind the counter, and they had a steady flow of advance pickup orders. My Italian sandwich was made pronto, and the limited amount of interior seating offered a place to polish off my hefty dinner. TOGO's, it's been too long to go w/o you. How far would I go for a TOGO? Well, I would have gone to the Lakewood location, but they have been closed for quite some time. Luckily, this location in Long Beach isn't too much farther, and considering I find myself nearby from time to time, this will have to be my go-to for TOGO'S. On my last visit, I happened to be about 5 minutes away when I got around to placing my order in the app. The TOGO'S app went through a recent update, so if you haven't updated the app, do so now! One thing I noticed about this new ordering platform is that it doesn't let you order both a sauce on your sandwich and on the side at the same time; I remember in a past year, it did. Not sure why the change? However, the good news is that you can customize your order to choose up to 2 different sauces to go with your meal! I was debating between the #4 Turkey, Genoa Salami & Cheddar and the #23 Genoa Salami & Provolone, both of which come with a quarter pound of meat, though one would have turkey and the other wouldn't. I chose the one with turkey for some added variety in my order. The #4 comes with cheddar cheese whereas the #23 comes with mayo & mustard, but with what I mentioned about the sauces in the previous paragraph, you could also get mayo & mustard on a #4 sandwich. Sandwiches come in 3, 6, or 9 inches, but some sandwiches like the #4 can't be done in a quarter of a foot. You might think 6 inches isn't a lot for a sandwich, but for TOGO'S, 6 inches may be plenty enough for one meal, especially if you order it TOGO'S style, which is pretty much adding an eclectic mix of vegetables to give the sandwich that nice kick. I also checked the radio button for Hot & Melty. For the choice of bread/wrap, I actually went with the Spinach Tortilla wrap since I'm not sure what other restaurants utilize spinach tortillas for their wraps. For the cheese, you're not limited to just cheddar; rather, you can choose Provolone, Pepper Jack, Swiss, American, or no cheese. I went with Pepper Jack. You can also choose to add certain toppings for an upcharge. At the very least, you should request some jalapenos and black olives since those are complimentary. When I submitted my order on my phone, I got a confirmation email indicating that my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. Since I mentioned I was 5 minutes away, that gave me 15 minutes of me time in the sandwich shop. When I arrived, I saw one other customer who was just about to leave with his order, and I told the employee my name for pickup, understanding that I'd have to wait a little longer for my order to be ready. It took him about 8 minutes to finish my wrap and bag it up before handing it to me. There are three two-person tables in the rear by the restroom, and I sat at one of them to enjoy my sandwich. I was right in between a couple of posters showing how far someone would go for a TOGO. I certainly wouldn't go to those extremes, but at least they were nice to look at. My #4 wrap was wrapped with much care with the main wrapper enclosing the entirety of the wrap, and another wrapper that was cut in half alongside the wrap. I enjoyed the overall taste of the wrap with the taste profile further exemplified via TOGO'S style. However, the spinach tortilla left much to be desired as it was pretty much like any ordinary tortilla. Barely any spinach flavor at all, not that I was expecting a flavor explosion of course, but still, a little more spinach flavor would have been nice here. Also, the meats. It was like 90% turkey and 10% Genoa Salami. I would have guessed it'd be more like half and half instead. All of a sudden, I regret not getting the #23 because I'm sure the salami would have made the wrap more unforgettable to my taste buds. Lastly, even though I checked Hot & Melty on my order, it didn't taste that way. I did see a little bit of the melted cheese in my wrap, but it definitely wasn't hot like hot & melty. It was more lukewarm at best. Overall, it was a good enough wrap that I can still recommend TOGO'S if you're craving a sandwich. I do think they're better than Subway, but not necessarily by that much that if you can save a few bucks with Subway, you're not sacrificing too much in quality and taste. I did appreciate how one of the employees wished me a good night as I was leaving, and she was busy building a customer's sandwich; sometimes, it's the little things that matter. read more

I tried their Santa Fe wrap and it is my new go-to at To-go's lol. First off, the serving is plentiful- I made 2 lunches out of it. All of the ingredients are fresh and wete still fresh the next day, namely the avocado! The spinach tortilla is soft and absorbs the flavors of the ingredients just right so every bite is consistent and full of flavor. I can't wait to use To-go's for catering! read more

Pastrami was good but barely any meat which is sad for the price , I tasted more bread onions and tomatoes-never had this happen before I knew it was no meat when I picked up the bag it was light as a feather - I work at the hospital down the way so we get Togo's -not anymore!!! I just came in today 10/19 around 1 pm (so Saturday lunch rush) and the two poor workers were clearly short handed and overwhelmed with a couple gigantic orders. Because of this, my mobile order took a little longer than expected (maybe like 10 minutes?) but the workers were working so hard I didn't mind at all. What I WAS disgusted with was the way I saw a couple of other customers trying to treat these workers who were clearly doing their absolute best. They had one lady in particular come in and make an absolute main character scene because her mobile order wasn't ready right when she walked in- she clearly decided that she was more important than the other 20+ customers in the store at the time. The workers took it in stride, giving her a refund, and were way more polite and professional than I ever could have been in that situation. I didn't get the name of either worker but I felt it was important to communicate to you guys that those two workers are absolutely awesome (but they definitely could've used an extra set of hands today!). Hopefully you can use the time and date I provided to figure out which two employees it was. Oh and my sandwich was absolutely delicious, even though they had to hustle their butts off while making it. As another patient customer said; "Still worth it. Way better than the food from that train station sandwich chain". If anyone does complain, specifically some lady with the name "Emily" on her order, I know you're probably not allowed to, but I would literally just ignore it. She was a piece of work- to the point where every other customer was shaking their heads in disgust when she finally left the building. Went there they didn't have Chicken for the Southwest Salad , ordered a sandwich bad ideas should have just left. Went in today to grab a quick sandwich, first off nothings quick here! Gentlemen that looks to be the manager AWFUL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! AWFUL! He seemed annoyed to be taking my order, well I order. I asked him to punch my loyalty card which he seemed confused, I asked if they still took them, said I don't know with attitude! Next thing I'm waiting for my sandwich, 15 min later oh I must mention I was the ONLY one in line to order, I stand up because my food isn't ready for the same guy that just took my order ask me if I'm there for a pick up?!!! I felt like a jerk walking in right at opening with a semi-large order that I'd planned to place online... but forgot to. I guess it wasn't too bad at three large sandwiches and a salad, but I needed it in 90 minutes. Not to worry, Sandra and Brad got on it right away! From the get-go, they were helpful and polite. I let them know what I needed and snuck away to run a few nearby errands while they assembled the sandwiches. I received a text mid-errand about a modification needed on one of the sandwiches, and Sandra and Brad were able to take care of it with no issue. They even hooked me up with extra sides of pickles and pepperoncini! I had a $50 gift card that I won from Yelp! in 2021 and there were some computer issues getting it into their system (I think because it was old and they'd just updated their system), but Sandra was very patient and we figured it out. Have been going to this place for years and I got to say, the quality and quantity of food they serve has gone down. I don't know if it's a change of the guard or what but definitely not good! First, they are always out of some type of vegetable or meat and they don't even fill the sandwiches with meat anymore. They barely give you any meat. Also, they never have soup anymore. Always ask for soup, sorry not today. AND forget about getting a drink with your meal. Their fountain drink has been out for a couple of months. ‍ Will not be returning to this location again! Togo's is so rare to find but worth the visit in my opinion. I like it better than Jersey Mike's and Subway sandwiches.

Delicious sandwiches and wraps! We live close by so this location is very convenient to get to but parking is a bit tight. On that same note, it is difficult to park close by and wait for your curbside order so despite selecting that option when I order online, I always end up having to go down anyway. Normally I wouldn't mind, but with a 1.5 year old and 2 month old, I'd prefer not to leave the car. We always order ahead online and while they always get the order correct, they are often late with having it ready so I'd recommend giving them more time before showing up, unless you don't mind standing around for awhile. We've liked every item we've tried so far except for the caprese wrap. Despite eating it soon after getting it, it was so liquidy that it made the wrap soggy, which is always a sad thing. read more

Walked in on Sunday afternoon with a few people in line. The man behind the counter seemed like the owner and had things running smoothly. There were 2 people making sandwhiches and when my friend and I walked in he called another one to help. The service was fast. I ordered the Avocado/Cheese/Cucumbers on sourdoug bread-YUM. Mayo, provolone cheese, extra cucumber, extra pickles, salt and pepper on the avo with italian dressing and chipotle mayo on the side to dip. It was perfection. The chips were stalked and we grabbed some jalapeno and lays baked. We didn't get any drinks. The store looked clean and they had cute patio furniture outside. Overall, still great a sandwhich shop after all these years. I will definitly keep this on my radar. read more

Late post from summer: The hubby and I didn't want hot food, so we decided to go to Togo's since we haven't been in a while. I always order the pick two which consists of a mini sandwich, half salad or soup. I usually get the Asian chicken salad with a broccoli cheddar soup. But because it was scorching hot today, I went with a ham and cheese mini sandwich instead. I LOVE the Asian chicken salad. The sauce is a perfect sweet and spicy combo. This will be on my top 3 of salads forever. My sandwich was yummy. But if I only had the salad, I'd be perfectly content. Must try! read more

Ordered online, and my food was ready when I got there, so that's good (hence two stars). The person who "greeted" me simply said, "name" instead of hi or anything. Kind of odd and rude. I went to fill my drink, and half or more of the drink choices were unavailable. Why even have the Freestyle drink machine if you're too lazy/unorganized to refill the flavors? Then I went to eat my sandwich, and they completely ignored my order specifications- only one of the two cheeses I ordered, cucumbers when I didn't order them, etc. At least they got the bread right, I guess. Ordered 10 sandwich boxes for a company event and the everything was great. Brad the owner patiently worked with me to get our order in within less than a week of our event. The service is amazing, the food is tasty and our order was on time for our pre-scheduled pick-up time. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they helped load the boxes in my car. Came in to Togo's today and was very disappointed to see that the owner wasn't wearing his mask properly or wearing gloves. It boggles my mind that a business owner who is handling food for the public to consume would feel so entitled and above everyone to not put people's safety/health first. He was putting together lots of food orders and ringing up customers; so he was going from handling customers cash or credit cards then to putting a sandwich or salad together without washing or sanitizing.
