Mixed chicken and steak hibachi combo from tokyo grill in cordova, tn

Ordered some edamame, fried shrimp, haru maki (egg rolls), and a couple of mixed chicken and steak hibachi meals, through ubereats. Delivery was quick and efficient, but they forgot one of the soups/salads. All of the food was completely bland and flavorless. The meat was overcooked - dried out and hard to chew. Rice and edamame were okay, when drownein soy sauce. Hard to find a good Japanese comfort food restaurant in Memphis (-_-)

great fresh flavors. the mango and sauce on the sushi roll pairs so well with the eel. I could have eaten 3 rolls worth. and the shrimp shumai was perfect. good cheap sushi. would eat again

Ok so I totes did not expect this place to be as awesome as it was. The general food is decent but the sushi is fantastic. It's priced as usual but you get so much more than you usually get at other places. It's also fantastically high quality. I LOVED IT. EVEN THE FRIED RICE IS GOOD AND THAT'S SO RARE! Ok, so I have found my new DND night take out place, fo sure. The hibachi chicken is decent but I will stick to Stix for my hibachi fix and use this place for all the fabulous sushi it's selling for a ridiculously affordable price. You can't beat the price of these sushi rolls. 3 sushi rolls with miso soup for the price of $11.25 is an incredible deal. I love simple sushi rolls so this is a steal to me. My favorites are the Alaskan, eel & avocado, and Philly. Quality salmon and they don't over stuff with rice unlike other cheap places. The family that works here is so sweet and I love getting takeout from here. Seating inside is pretty small, but you could still sit inside. The shrimp fried rice portion is HUGE. Forever my take out sushi joint in Memphis from now on.

It's a comforting embrace on your dehydration from partying the night before. It's the gentle kiss of the sunlight on the first spring day. It's the caress of the lover that got away. Today I needed food to hit my soul. I've had a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to find that special dish that will make your day. This bowl gave me hope and vitality. What a lovely and well seasoned experience. I don't write reviews often but this experience hit different. Please be kind to restaurant staff. Food tastes better when you have a good heart.

The broth has a slightly sweet flavor that I personally really enjoy. Their salted lemonade is really fresh and refreshing, it's a must-order every time I visit! My only complaint is the portion size. The bowls are a bit small. As a female, I need to order a large to feel full. Most males may probably want to order an appetizer or another dish on the side. Service is pretty much the same as it was at the old Vietnamese Restaurant, minimal and not particularly attentive. Overall, the food keeps me coming back, especially the pho and salted lemonade. Four stars.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

Their ramen is literally top ramen instant packs with chicken bouillon cubes and maybe some seasonings...& their appetizers are always greasy. Mandu's aren't really even mandus. Their jjangmeon is greasy as well and not even authentic to its real taste. I gave it 3 more tries before I realized yeah..this place has gone downhill terribly. I didn't like one of my dishes and i specifically told them what I didn't like about it and they still charged me because the chef said "I made it correctly" and I was very disappointed because a kimchi soup should NEVER taste tomatoe-y EVER. I looked back in the kitchen and saw white folks in the kitchen and knew yeah, no. this establishment has no soul or care. There are better Korean options here in Memphis, after some time this place has lost all its care and soul. Like who serves appetizers on plate that says "oh shucks" and it's a picture of oysters...it gives CHEAP & careless.

We both decided on the ramen after hearing about it and were very glad that we did. The meal was delicious! We both went with mild spicy and that was just the right amount of flavorful without it being too much. I am not a spicy person though! I am excited to return and especially enjoy a fall evening with a bowl of ramen!

When you walk in you'll check in with the host to be seated. The restaurant feels like a super cute, casual ramen shop vibe right in the heart of Memphis. For food we started by ordering the crawfish dumplings (crawfish, shrimp, cream cheese & togarashi). The dumplings were good, almost like a take on a Crab Rangoon but with shrimp and crawfish. For entrees my partner ordered the Big City Ramen (chicken broth, chicken thigh, ajitama, corn & menma) and I ordered the Spicy Pork Ramen (miso broth, pork chashu, soft egg, scallion, nori). The Big City ramen had a really good balance of flavors and wasn't too spicy. The spicy pork ramen was good but a bit like on the spicy side. For dessert we ordered the Thai tea dessert which was really well balanced and a perfect way to the end the meal. Highly recommend stopping by Good Fortune if you are in the Memphis area.
