Alyssa was our Server and did an excellent job of making sure we were all good. We ordered off the happy hour menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cocktails and food in a nice lively with music playing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Petrale Sole (good but did contain bones)
    Margot R.

Overall we had a nice time, but there were a couple of things that didn't go as well. For instance, we ordered the special they served this weekend, Petrale Sole, which is breaded and generally shouldn't have any bones. Unfortunately it did have several. I'm told this fish is usually completely filleted and boneless. It was delicious, but I wasn't expecting to choke on the bones from a beaded fish... The only other issue was that the waitstaff were a bit disorganized and also not back to our table within a reasonable manner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Otherwise, the food was very good, our server was nice, and the place looked clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would still try this place again, but I would be careful with bones in fish.

We are regulars at Tomatina's in Roseville. It's been a rough recovery since the pandemic and this restaurant continued to push forward. Recently they've added several new staff members that are not just on top of it, they really care about their guests. The menu has changed over the years and they always try new things while still serving their staple items. It's definitely the season for dining and togetherness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoy sitting at the bar counter next to their brick oven while chatting to the friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stop by with the family or a friend to experience what we already know. Enjoy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Always a good time. This is down the street from our house and we go here a lot. The service has been consistently good, the food was yummy and satisfying (the roasted salmon, lemon chicken, garlic rolls, calamari, frutti di mare, Mediterranean salad, are my tired and true go-to's). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's usually pretty chill here, not too loud, and seated quickly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love this place! I happened to come across it randomly one day. I've had their pizza, several types of pasta (some you'll need to add salt to), garlic rolls, and some cocktails. I love that they have a pasta flight (called the Pasta Trio)! They never disappoint. Everything tastes light and fresh. Good food. Good drinks. Good portion sizes. They have a rewards program, too, which is great for your birthday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the layout. It's very open and bright, despite the dark counters and chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can watch them make pizza in their huge brick oven.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I usually go during the day, around 2-4pm and it's never busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's plenty of parking available.

I don't come here often but my friend hasn't been so we came here for dinner. The food was awesome and it wasn't too busy so we were helped quickly. I tried the special which has Chili's, prosciutto, and bucatini pasta. I checked out their happy hour which is 3-7 Monday through Friday and that looked impressive as well. We will be back!

A nice comfortable neighborhood Italian bistro, open until 8 pm during the week. Full bar available. Definitely always busier before 7 pm with the reduced price Happy Hour. Very busy during the Holidays. Consistently great quality food coming from this kitchen. Mamas Meatballs are excellent! Their Calzone stuffed pizza is available with three fillings. You can do an all meat version with prosciutto, Hobbs Salami, and Hobbs Pepperoni. Their Fettucini Alfredo is also good, cheesy, and has nothing in it shouldn't have (like onions, garlic). Their Tiramisu is usually also quite good. Good service after 7 pm, especially with Tim. You can do the whole experience on your phone, from ordering, adding drinks and dessert, to payment. Was very handy right after COVID. Highly recommended for consistent quality Italian.

Entrees, brick hard rolls, empty water glass

We wanted to like this restaurant but they made that difficult. The good was our entrees, chicken and artichoke spaghetti and portobello fettuccine. The bad were the brick hard garlic rolls, the over seasoned minestrone and the service. While our server was friendly she would linger on the line chatting up her co-workers while the dishes collected on our table and my wife's water glass remained unfilled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not surprising that the restaurant was only about 10% occupied on what should be a busy Saturday evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We won't be back.

Staff was minimal but very friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was clean and a very nice setting and decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice outdoor space as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was really good and portions sizes were large. Prices were average and very reasonable considering the portion sizes. Great drink selection as well. Have driven by so many times and so glad I finally made it in. So many things on the menu that I will definitely be back to work my way through them!

Had lunch at Tomatina today and they did not disappoint. Service was great. Food was definitely made fresh and delicious! They also have $6 take home pasta if you get an entree. We'll definitely come back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was relaxing. It's a clean establishment you can go on dates at and take your family to. It has a darker, more elegant feel to it because of the rich colors in the interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was pretty good. Though the server forgot our waters and bill after we asked for it, she was still attentive and kind. We did come near closing time and we knew she was trying to begin closing duties and serve us simultaneously. We still think she did a great job. The food was tasty. We got the meatballs for the appetizer and they were flavorful, especially the sauce, and the bread was just the right amount of crisp. For entrees, I had the roasted salmon. Again, the creamy sauce was delicious and the steamed spinach was cooked just right. I wasn't a huge fan of the texture of the salmon. It had the skin on it so I think I'm just not used to eating it with the skin on. All in all, yummy! Definitely try it. For dessert, I ordered the Affogato and it was FREAKIN AMAZING! The whip cream was that good cream. Light, airy, and the right amount of sweet. I can eat a whole bowl of it. Ugh, so good. The gelato was perfect and the shot of espresso was everything. Please get this, you won't regret it. Can't forget the dranks. I doubled down with the espresso martini and it was wonderful. Would definitely get that again. I also enjoyed the old fashion. They gave us more than 1 cherry so extra points for that.

Tried Happy Hour Friday! 5:pm 2nd time in and we will be back. Our Server was fantastic and very friendly. We highly recommend supporting our new Tomatina Restaurant on Lonetree Blvd. Off Hwy 65. Martinis are delicious. Shaken for Ducks on the pond.

The casual yet cozy atmosphere prompts fun conversation. There's a nice old world ambiance about it. Perusing the menus we first chose a carafe of wine, a Barbera. Tasty bread was brought to the table along with oil/vinegar and herbs on a plate. My main course selection was the Maccheroni e Formaggio, spiral pasta (macaroni) with a rich sauce, lots of cheese and breadcrumbs. I got it with meatballs which I highly recommend. The dish was delicious and very filling. For dessert I chose the cannoli which has been my favorite. Unfortunately, this time it tasted dry and the middle of the shell was hard as a rock. The filling was good. Service was very friendly, not rushed and attentive. They always add to an enjoyable meal. I continue to highly recommend this place for a good Italian meal.

The appetizers set the tone right away: shareable, flavorful, and impossible to stop picking at. Everything came out quickly, hot, and clearly made to be enjoyed communally, not individually. The entrees were the real highlight. True to form, the portions were huge--meant for passing plates, second helpings, and that inevitable "just one more bite." The pasta dishes were rich and comforting, the sauces hearty without being overwhelming, and every dish carried that classic, familiar Italian-American flavor that Buca has built its reputation on. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent anything--it just delivers satisfying, crowd-pleasing food. And then came dessert, which felt like the perfect send-off. Decadent, oversized, and meant to be shared, just like everything else. It was the kind of ending that makes you linger a little longer at the table, not quite ready to leave. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff (Tanja ) brought warmth, energy, and a sense of occasion to the entire meal. It never felt rushed, and there was a genuine friendliness that made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Buca di Beppo has always been about more than just food--it's about laughter, noise, and sharing a table with people you care about. Dining there one last time was both comforting and a little bittersweet. If this truly is goodbye, they're going out the way they always have: generously, joyfully, and with plenty of leftovers. They may be closing their doors for good soon, and it would be a shame to lose a place that's all about family-style meals, big portions, and even bigger memories. Please support them.

Despite the service, the pizza was DELICIOUS and I love that it was a thin crust. The portion size originally looked small but I was able to share it with two of my coworkers and we were all very satisfied. Overall, great pizza but the customer service aspect of my visit could have been way better. If I see the truck around and I'm in the mood for pizza, I will definitely get it again.
