There's a Paperchase stationers on site and even it's own Starbucks on the lower levels. There's small pockets of seats spaced throughout the shop. They have import editions of magazines as well.

It's never going to offer the range of an Amazon, but they certainly try. A great selection of graphic novels, sits next to an ace kids book section. Good deals usually, and some comfy chairs to sit in and browse. Upstairs is a great selection of papers and magazines, including several that are usually tough to source. They've also opened a Game store on the top floor, the fourth to hit Norwich, so all your entertainment needs are met

Borders Books is a large, bright and spacious bookstore located within Chapelfield shopping centre…read more Spread over two stores, this shop incorporates a bookstore, a starbucks coffee shop, a paperchase stationary area, a GAME store and a wide range of magazines. It is very easy to waste a lot of time browsing the range of aisles in this store. There is a great range of items available in this store, and the staff are very helpful at guiding you to the areas you're looking for, or ordering books in for you if they aren't in stock. The only downside is that Borders don't yet have a similar card and point scheme like Waterstones that would allow you to claim points back on your previous purchases. Otherwise I would always shop here.

Borders carries a large selection of books, but does appear to be more expensive than other…read morebookshops in the city. It does have a small Paperchase outlet and also a small Game outlet. It is probably the best place in Norwich for magazines as it carries more titles than other places and also has a large selection of manga. Overall if I was looking for a mainstream title I would probably look elsewhere, purely down to the price, however if I was looking for something more obscure I would shop there.

The BBC shop on Millennium Plain is one such store. Sure, its sells a massive range of DVD box sets going way, way back in the archives (to be fair, usually more expensive then you can get them for in other entertainment stores) But it's the models and figurines that captivate. Scale models of the Tardis or the Enterprise. Dr Who and Star Wars figures, replicas of the 70s ones in the case of the latter. Homer Simpson talking beer cans. And to top it all, they host signing events that have every sci fi fan in Norfolk dribbling into their Dalek flakes. Tom Baker was there the other day. Awooga.
