Having spoken to several other unhappy customers, I believe this shop has great prices, and can get you in quick and done fast. However, it comes at a price if you are going to keep your plane for a long time, as the quality and process they used are not setup for the same long-term quality each time. I believe it is a higher risk you may have problems in a few years, and if you do, they proved very quickly they will not accept any responsibility. Seems like they have enough work they do not care.

Essentially they rebuild, restore and maintain World War II aircraft- to FLYING CONDITION! At any given time, there are several aircraft- with so much history- in some state of repair. Just walking through the hangar, you can see, smell and touch some incredible history, and seeing these planes in this state- with panels and parts missing, the ability to look inside and see the working parts- is fantastic! And if you're lucky- you will see them fly, which is such a joy to see and hear these historic warbirds! Did an…read moreoil change on my Piper Archer, and did a decent job (although oil change is not exactly a tough task), then blacklisted me as a client due to the fact that I wrote about my bad experience with the Orlando Christian Flying Club on my blog, he apparently felt that meant I would write bad things about him at some point (well I guess you ended up being right, but it was pretty stupid to think that calling me, yelling at me about a bad review that had absolutely nothing to with you, without even fully reading it, blacklisting me and treating me badly would prevent that. I was actually going to write good things about you until that happened). Very flaky individual. The SouthEast ramp is a close knit community so he will surely get people to rush to his defense. Although I believe him to be competent mechanic, his behavior towards me was unprofessional and unnecessary. With other choices out there ask yourself if it is worth risking being treated like I was treated. I shudder to think about what I would have done if this had happened while he was doing an annual inspection and the plane was in pieces.
