Seriously LOVE this place! All of the people that work here are so great. They are always smiling and friendly. The food is AWESOME. They don't cut corners and only use the BEST ingredients available. I will eat here any day! My favorite sandwich (so far) is the Philly. The hype made me go and the 8-inch was way too big for me. Delicious in every bite. I ordered the four cheese sub and under that rainy day, this succulent lunch served its purpose and made me a fan. Great place to hit up after a hike at nearby Red Rocks. Great customer service and a pretty simple menu to boot. They do a good job of loading up their subs. I like how you can sit in their 'bar' area. You can watch them making the sandwiches. I was also very much impressed with their toasty buns. read more

When the owner is working the register and recommends the daily special with the special sauce HE made, you order it: we ordered two! Pulled pork grab from the smoker with BAMA sauce. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious but what makes Tommy's so special is the people. What a joy to watch a group of people work together and have fun. An absolute staple here on the west side. Aside from great service and sweet music memorabilia the food stands apart from anything on this side of town. I have loved coming to Tommy's for years over 10 actually...I remember speeding in my car filled with other classmates when we were in high school to make it there in time before everyone else so we could enjoy our sandwiches in main hall. I now being my family and often crave their peppers and sandwiches. The atmosphere and food hasn't changed and has never disappointed. Tommy's is one of my all time favorite restaurants for several reasons. I have lived down the street and have watched them grow into a very successful business over the years. My favorite sandwich is the Italian. It's super filling and really tasty. The newest menu item is their BBQ sandwich with the white sauce. It isn't at all what I was expecting. Found this place on Yelp when we were looking for someplace family-friendly to eat before Dinosaur Ridge. The sandwiches were delicious and the bread was fresh. The menu isn't big but it doesn't have to be. Our 2 sandwiches did come out about 10 minutes apart but other than that, we'd definitely recommend this place. read more

We have been goint to Tommy's since Tommy and Susan owned the place in the 90's. What I love about it is that even though the ownership changed, the food did not. Good subs however they are over priced for the portions that you receive.

The best Subs In town and great "secret" sauce as they like to call it. Make sure you call in advance as their hours can be tricky at times and certain days. Great sandwiches start with great bread, and Tommy's has the best bread in town. Then the great people run the sub through a toaster conveyer to give a little crisp to the crust and melt the cheese while keeping the bread soft and tender in the middle.
