Finally got to try this and it was such a great experience! You have to make reservations well in advance, but it's definitely worth it if you're able to secure them. Essentially, you have unlimited access to this area for 4hrs and a great view for fireworks. You get an entree, specialty drink, and dessert for dinner as well as a complimentary sipper; you also get unlimited bottled/canned drinks. The cost can be pricey for some, but overall the ambiance, accessibility, and privacy was well worth it for us. We booked a reservation during Halloween time, so everything for us was Halloween themed! Here's what we ordered/got: - Drinks: blood orange slush and villain's potion - Entrees: fried pork rice bowl and pot roast Philly - Desserts: Maleficent mousse brownie and Queen of Hearts raspberry mousse - Sippers: Donald and Darth Vader The food overall wasn't bad, if anything, the drinks were the most enjoyable. The fried pork was pretty savory but the rice was a little dry. The Philly was PACKED with meat but still had a nice flavor. Both desserts were decent, the brownie was pretty fudge-y and the mousse was airy. The orange slush was sweet and the villain's potion was spicy, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The unlimited bottled/canned beverages were nice, I got quite a few water bottles for myself and cans of Sprite for my husband; the cast members even made sure we took some for the road! Additionally, unlimited hot cocoa was an option which I will definitely try next time. Unfortunately, due to the high winds that night, we were unable to watch any fireworks as they were cancelled. I thought this would be a nice experience for our family to enjoy and celebrate my daughters birthday. We were able to get reservations at 7:30pm and wanted to stay long enough to watch the fireworks show. The entire process was a little confusing at first as we had to locate the Park Employee right in front of the walkway that leads up. We then proceeded to the entrance of the Star Wars hall which resembles the Jedi Archives. Going up the stairs you enter into another lounge before you are seated at the Terrace, right where the old People Mover tracks used to be. Our seating was towards the end, near Space Mountain. We had a wonderful view of Tomorrow Land and looking towards the Matterhorn. We picked up our meals at the Bar Station along with our drinks. For the price we paid, the food selection was abysmal. We had a sandwich and sides. My wife has a gluten intolerance, and her entree was a veggie wrap. Each meal was placed in a bento-style stacking box which was really nice. Along with your meals, desserts were included. The food itself was ok, but again, for the price I expected more. You are just paying for the unlimited drinks and the view. I do like the fact that we can come and go anytime we want after check-in. So, if you are done with the meal you can go on more rides and return in time to watch the shows. This new, unique experience is situated directly atop the Star Wars Launch Bay with views of Space Mountain, The Matterhorn and the Tomorrowland Terrace. Pro Tip: Blankets are available, first come, first served. *It really does get chilly & windy up here once the sun goes down! The entire experience is $89. 1) You check in at the Galactic Grill, get your lanyard, go to the window and choose your entree, drink and dessert. 2) Once placed on a tray, you move carefully across the throng of people to the ramp located next to the Coca Cola stand at the far end of the Star Wars Launch Bay. Then you check in again, and up the ramp you go, like a professional wait staffer...(If you are handicapped, they'll take the tray for you and take you up an elevator.) 3) There is pre-assigned seating, I was at spot #27 near the end, but it had a nice view. Pro Tip: There are NO restrooms up here, so go before you come on up. The ones by Autopia are way less crowded than the ones by Space Mtn. 4) Once at your assigned spot, either at a high top or a table for four, you will be told that there is unlimited water (flat or sparkling) and soft drinks (Fresca! Coke and Diet Coke). There is also sugar, artificial sweeteners and stirs for the coffee you'll be offered around 8:15. 5) THE SPOT IS YOURS ALL NIGHT! Beginning at 6:30 pm! So you can come up, eat, and go shopping or ride a ride. I went to Hyperspace Mtn. after dinner and came back at around 8:15. 6) At around 8pm, they will light the glow cubes on tables and come by to offer you coffee or hot chocolate - they come by several times. They also have hot tea if you ask. 7) They will come by, around 8:15, with your choice of a Darth Vader drink vessel, a Grogu drink vessel or a MANDOLORIAN stainless steel coffee vessel. That one is worth it! It would probably retail for close to $30. 8) Fireworks (weather permitting) start at 9:30. You cannot see the castle and the light show projections but you can see the fireworks by the Matterhorn. Not bad at all! The servers and hosts were super friendly and wonderful. At your reservation time, check in at Galactic Grill at Window 1 or the Tomorrowland Skyline Podium near the entrance of Alien Pizza Planet. (If you're confused it's on top of Star wars launch bay and the entrance is at the bottom of that ramp.) Pick up your Laynard, food and beverages at Galactic Grill at Window 1. Then, you will carry and walk about 100 yards to your seat. They do not bring the food to you. Hint: if you have elderly or disabled persons, I would suggest you take them up to their seats first and then come back for the food because you have to walk up a steep ramp about 100 feet or more. My Bevarge was their Christmas Punch: it's a Christmas-inspired Punch made with Pomegranate, Cranberry, Orange Juice, and Sprite, served over ice and garnished with fresh Pomegranate Seeds, Cranberries, an Orange Slice, and a Rosemary Sprig, and it has a glowing ice cube inside. Very refreshing. For my main meal, I picked the Slow-Cooked Pot Roast, Served with Roasted Garlic and herb Yukon Mash Potatoes, Roasted Pepper Puree, and Charred Broccolini, topped with a Cabernet Demi, and it was delicious, savory, and seasoned to perfection. My husband and I were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary on a Friday night. I went online and looked for things to book or reserve, and I saw openings for the skyline lounge. It sounded cool based on the description and before I knew it, I was spending $80 per person to make a reservation. Prior to the trip I began researching, and forums like Reddit and others recommended against booking the experience. It was already two days prior to the event and I didn't want to lose my money so we ended up keeping the reservation. We arrived at 6pm to the entrance and were in a small group of 10-15 other guests waiting. We were shown up to the area and all of it was pretty dull/not exciting. The views were nice but the sun shines in your eyes for like two hours in the summer before the sun sets. It's a long wait from 6-9 pm but you can go back and forth. There are free sodas and small water bottles. Boxed dinner was pathetic and tasted terribly in my opinion. Tons of people ended up leaving and getting food from pizza planet and bringing it back up. If you're doing this for the food experience...don't. Finally fireworks started and that was at least quite beautiful. The staff is mostly friendly ( we were ignored by some guy who went to every table except ours for some reason). All in all I would say the experience is worth more like $40 per person. You might as well eat elsewhere, and views of the fireworks are great all over the park. read more

Yeah, no. Don't do this. I think Disneyland's website was super vague about this experience for a reason. It was just crappy. We tried to check in at the Skyline Lounge location. The website said there would be a podium there for that purpose. Nope. We had to walk all the way over to Galactic Grill, stand in line there, get checked in 3 different times by 3 different people, wait for not so great fast food to carry across a crowded park on a tray up a very steep ramp. But before we could go up the ramp, we had to check in yet again with another person at the bottom of the ramp, and the top. It just took forever. My meal came with breadsticks. The service staff just hucked the breadsticks on top on my chocolate dessert. Yuck. With a reservation for two, we had to share a table with another couple. It was a high top table with a view obscured by the roof so we wouldn't be able to see the fireworks, even if we wanted to stay for that. We ate a bit of our inedible food, grabbed a couple waters from the beverage service place and bailed. Definitely not worth the $120 I paid. I wish I had researched this better before I made reservations. Or at least before the cancellation deadline 2 days before. 6-26-22 Since we last came instead of more snacks and desserts, now you have a meal, dessert and coffee or hot chocolate. You need to check in and carry your meal up to the Skyline Lounge. This event is in Tomorrowland and you have a reserved table for the evening to watch the fireworks. Once up in the Skyline Lounge there are unlimited soft drinks from mini bottled water, sparkling water, Fresca, and more. They used to have table games but during your stay there you'll hear JENGA crashing to the ground many times. One of the cast members will come to your table to play Disney Trivia. If you answer correctly you get a Citizen of Disney button. Although you can come and go til the fireworks begin we just sat there for 3 hours eating, charging our phones, watching the sun set after 8 p.m. when flocks of birds return home for the evening and the sky darkens. It was good to just enjoy each other's company and talk about what our favorite food, activity was for the day. The couches have been removed and replaced by high or low tables. We chose low table as we were right up to the railing with unobstructed views, Relaxing in comfort while Disney theme music is playing as the fireworks light up the sky is the greatest luxury for sure. Hello there. With this experience -- I have the high ground!! Now, being serious... damn! There are some really harsh critics out there but based on a Disney experience that has food and entertainment value, I think this is great. I wouldn't recommend this for tourists traveling in, but for locals (i.e., Magic Key holders). It would be more fun. The reason why is because you can rest and relax after the sun goes down. You have dinner and dessert, which is a good amount of food. And you get unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. Please note -- we are in post-COVID times. This means Disneyland Resort (DLR) was getting out of a year being shut down. There are inflations in all realms of life now, but you see a lot of it in food/dining, entertainment, and gas. With that said, I would have to say the $60.00 per person is NOT a rip off. It is reasonable and in retrospect to other eateries at DLR it is comparable. I was already expecting to get a sandwich type of meal and not a steak dinner. Speaking of dinner! I selected the Supernova Pasta Bake because I wanted something vegetable forward. It was the vegan/vegetarian option. The non-dairy cheese was good and not runny. I will be frank. The pasta wasn't the best Disney pasta I've had, but still good for Tomorrowland. For dessert, I selected the Cheesecake. It was like the usual Cheesecake with a pop of berry -- either raspberry or strawberry. To pair with my pasta, I started out with ginger ale. The part that made the experience awesome were the Cast Members and the unlimited non-alcoholic beverage service. I went from ginger ale to sparkling water and closing was a hot chocolate. A total bonus to this experience was a Cast Member (CM) named Ryan giving trivia and making Guests throughout the evening Honorary Citizens. He seriously made my night! It is great to see a CM who has passion and a love for being a Disney nerd. A side bit of fun was playing boardgames. We played Connect Four lol. The time when fireworks came at 9:30pm, the lights of Launch Bay (a.k.a. Innoventions) does turn off. You can't fully hear the PA's narration off Main Street, but you can still make out the music. The firework view was great for the one behind ToonTown. The ones at the Castle were a little disrupted by trees. Overall the experience of no crowds and sitting comfortably was sensational! I had heard negative things about the Skyline Lounge. Some said it was far too overpriced. Others were upset about the food. But I took my family here, just looking for a new experience. As someone who's been going to Disneyland for the past 25 years, a new experience is always welcome. And I have to say - the Skyline Lounge exceeded my expectations. It was $60/person, even for kids - which we felt was a little steep - but decided to try it anyway. Upon arrival at 6:30pm, we were escorted into an upstairs lounge area. Tables, sofas, and lounge chairs filled the room, and my toddler likened it to a nice hotel. He's not wrong. Outside was a bar that offers you a "bento box" dinner, and unlimited drinks. The box dinner had several different compartments - a cold sandwich that was surprisingly good for Disneyland, a chicken apple salad, crackers with tuna spread, and 2 chocolate desserts. I had low expectations of the food, considering most people were upset about how much they had to pay for it. But by itself, I actually found the meal to be delightful. As did everyone else in my family. The only ones who didn't? (And the reason this review gets 4 stars instead of 5)... the kids. Not many kid options available here food-wise. Would be better if there were, but I get that probably not too many kids will be up here. There were some games in the lounge like Connect 4 and Jenga to play. But we had in-and-out privileges, so once we ate, we headed back out for rides. Until fireworks time. The real reason we were all there. Those with outside tables didn't need to relocate. But for us inside the lounge area, we moved outside to some seats on the outside deck. There were plenty available, and we got some in the front row. And we had a great view of the fireworks over the Matterhorn. They have speakers in there, so you get all the sounds that are blaring on Main Street as well. We were comfy, seated, and we didn't have to fight crowds on Main Street an hour before to get a good spot. That alone might've been worth $60/person. So all in all - if you mix the solid food with a great place to watch fireworks, in addition to having a "home base" to put your stuff down for the night and come and go as you please - this was a solid experience. Of course I get all the concerns: - I'd prefer it to be cheaper, sure - I understand the frustration if fireworks get cancelled last-minute due to weather - I understand the complaints over a limited menu But still, for what it is, it does a good job. This review is based on my third visit to Skyline Lounge (the first time returning since COVID). First, you need to make reservations in advance. Honestly, I miss how the experience used to be. The way they have organized it now is so inconvenient and went down in quality in my opinion. You have to stand in line at galactic grill to get your badge and have to pick up your meal at the window and transport it yourself to the Skyline lounge. This is not very accessible to those in wheelchairs as you have to balance a tray and your hot beverages on top of Galactic Grill not being the most accessible space (you have to go all the way around to use a ramp). When you arrive, instead of being seated on a comfy sofa/lounge area, you are in regular tables and chairs for those who are lucky or you are seated in high tops with another party (we saw lots of couples on the high tops). The food itself was just okay- nothing that I would want to order off a menu. I do miss the little dessert boxes. At least they had a touch of Disney to them. The meals now are so blah. You are still able to get unlimited beverages which is great. You also are able to ask for chargers for your phone. There are no more characters who come to visit anymore. However, cast members still try to engage folx with games. The majority of folx who were there left and came back to watch the fireworks. Overall, if you want to watch the fireworks without being crowded by others and are willing to pay for it, this option is great. However the overall experience has declined and at the very least, I hope they reconsider how guests receive their food. read more

You go get your drinks. They are very nice & happy to take your trash away for you. There are no bathrooms on the second floor, so plan ahead. They may cancel the fireworks, no refund. They assign the seats before you get there so there may be a giant pillar in the middle of your view and that's just your bad luck. You might have people coming and going at the table in front of you and nothing you can do about it. I was extremely disappointed! Too bad. Such simple fixes would have made it so much better! Some people really care about their view! Let them get there early and pick their seats at the railing! Other people don't care and let them get there late and sit in the back! Everyone wants hot coco! We ran out several times and were told it was available if you wanted to take the loooooong walk down to Galaxy Grill & back. Well, that kind of defeats the purpose of being up on the terrace! Also, get some whipped cream for the coco! It's a basic! The best things about the experience were the wonderful friendly cast member, the friendly people I shared my table with, and the sipper/mug that we got as a souvenir. I recommend it as a place to get out of the crowds for a reserved table. I do NOT recommend it for the fireworks experience! No music!!! No projections!!! I have been reluctant to try since this fireworks package released as I heard the price point was not worth it as the food was subpar. I'm happy to report with this new dining package it was totally worth it! Even walked away with plenty of bottles or water for the next day & loved the souvenir tumbler or supper to take as well. The pasta salad was really good! Once you get your meal you walk up to the lounge viewing area where there are EVEN MORE nice people helping you! What I liked about this dining package was the food, the free drinks and the views! We were there the week after Christmas. California residents seem to know this is a wonderful time to visit even though online it says it's high attendance. Everyone we spoke to was a Cali resident. It really is my favorite time to visit the park. With the Genie pass, we rode everything in 2 days (no kiddie rides). So, you pick up your food at a predestinated window before going up the ramp to your seats. They check your app ticket at the ramp. They give you a commemorative lanyard and your assigned table number. We sat down at 6:30 pm and ate while overlooking the beautifully lite up park surrounding the Matterhorn. There is free hot chocolate and soda. They asked how many cans of soda we wanted when we went to grab some hot chocolate. We were like...hmmm. 2 each? She said, Sure drinks are unlimited and free. They had mini cans in a variety of of flavors. After we finished eating the amazing pot roast, we took our hot chocolate down the ramp and walked around, rode many more rides as lines were low due to the parade. Then we went back to our table to watch the fireworks later. Your table is saved the entire time. I loved it. Some people left all their stuff at their dining table and came back to eat during the fireworks show. This is also a great idea for eating during the show. However, I personally didn't feel comfortable leaving my stuff at our table as no one was designated to watch it. There were two employees at the drink cart near the tables, but out of view from where we were seated. If you're in a party of four, you will likely have the best tables next to the railing. We were a party of two. We were seated at a high bar like table facing the show, but not as ideal for photos as the parties of four would be in your photo. First off let me say that I am a Disney Passholder and I love all things Disney. This was the worse dining experience ever in my history with Disneyland and that goes back over 30 years. This experience was so misrepresented that it's criminal that they charged me $65 a person. The food was barely warm by the time I got to my table...the cheese on my pasta wasn't even close to melted. I've had lean cuisines frozen dinners that tasted better. Actually, after having written this, I'm going to give this a 2 star review... LOL Reservations: You get reservations to this experience by going on the Disneyland app. Usually, reservations open up at 3 a.m. about 60 days in advance. I'm assuming there's only 1 reservation time at 6:30 p.m. since everyone gets their assigned seating after they get to the entrance of the lounge. The process on the day of: - Go to the Galactic Grill and queue up behind the "Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience" sign. Do not go near the Alien Pizza Planet area for initial check in. - At the Galactic Grill, you'll check in with someone and they'll ask you go to the podium to get a lanyard. When we were there, you had the choice of a meatloaf burger, breaded chicken sandwich, or vegetarian pasta, a choice of dessert (cheesecake or chocolate cake), and hot beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate). - You grab your tray of food and walk it over to the bottom of the ramp near Pizza Planet and check your name in with the host/hostess. Once checked in, you walk up the ramp and are greeted by more cast members who will offer you drinks. - You then get seated at a table with a table number, which is reserved for you the rest of the night, including a reserved lounge spot to see fireworks. - That's about it! You can come and go throughout the evening. Pros: - There are non-alcoholic drinks that are provided free throughout the evening from 6:30 to about 10 p.m., when you are asked to leave the lounge area (about 15 minutes post fireworks). The drinks include things like Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Fresca, Topo Chico, bottle water, Ginger Ale, etc. - For hot beverages, you can ask any server to grab you coffee, tea, or hot chocolate throughout the night, or you can go back to the Grill yourself. - You get in and out privileges since your table/seating is reserved for the remainder of the evening. - You get a different perspective of the fireworks, BUT your view will be obstructed by the ceiling of the lounge -- especially if you're in the high chair seating. - The service and friendliness of the staff are great pluses and probably the only reason why I'd even give this experience any stars. - Some mild entertainment for yourself or your kids. The staff come around to take photos of you, ask you trivia (with prizes), and there is a games section for children (large Jenga, corn hole, etc.). - You can ask for a phone charger, which plugs into your table number thing. Cons: - For $60 per person, you get some crappy food from the Galactic Grill. The free unlimited drinks are nice, but not worth $60. - If you're on time (i.e the first one seated) and a group of 2 people, you will probably be placed at the very far corner at the end (not centered) on the high top seating. If you are are larger group (3+), you will most likely be seated against the guard rail in front of the high seats. Hence, I recommend if you're a group of 2, try to check in like 10-15 minutes later so you get a more centered seat. This is my biggest issue. We were on time and the second group of 2 seated, so we were taken all the way down to the first seats, which were far from center.... Terrible view. - If you're a super big fan of fireworks, I'd say this view offers a different experience kind of, but your view will be obstructed, you don't get to see the castle or any light projection experiences, and you can kind of hear the music but you will not be able to hear any of the spoken audio. - Bathrooms are near Autopia or Space Mountain, so you have to go down the stairs or ramp to get to the bathroom. read more

Unfortunately Disneyland decided to change the offering for Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge / Terrace for 2024. Let me start by saying that the service was good and the staff is attentive (+1 star for the staff). However, that does not make up for the lackluster food. You no longer get warm food options. Everyone gets one cold lunch box consisting of a soggy spicy sandwich (which my kids could not eat), a waldorf salad, ritz crackers with cheese dip, and a homemade twinkie-like cake with coconut and a ding dong. They should at least offer a non-spicy sandwich for kids. The allergy box covered all major allergens was a fruit salad and some allergen friendly desserts - which means even if you only have one allergy, you're forced to also eat something that is also gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, etc. The box is reminiscent of the cold airplane food boxes you can buy on a basic economy flight. The lines for food and drinks got very long as the staff couldn't keep up with the orders. The fireworks were also cancelled on our particular night, so it was a very expensive snack box. I would not recommend unless they change the offering back to a warm meal or at least additional meal options. read more

(Between 3.5 and 4 star). As I mature (ha ha ha), I like to have my experiences in comfort. So to hear that you can watch the fireworks in reserved seating and with dessert, that sold me. My friend and I checked in a bit late. So we could only choose the bar height tables and chairs. (Versus sofas and lower chairs like in a nice, modern living room). You are sitting outside of the former Innoventions building. The dessert box has a lot of goodies and you had unlimited water and soda. To pass the time, you could take selfies with their props (could a Disney Photographer be here instead?), play games they have there or play the trivia game with one of the CMs. The trivia game was fun but it would've been nice to win something other that an Honorary Citizen badge. The CM was very knowledgeable and a great host. An extra plus was they offered phone chargers and clean blankets to ward off the evening chill! It was cool to watch the fireworks up there however, you don't see them behind the castle. Also,'I could barely hear the music. My friend asked about it after the show and a CM said it recently wa hard to hear and she is hoping it would be rectified. I think this is something that definitely should be fixed to give the customers a first quality experience! I enjoyed my time up there but i think if the sound is improved and another, more special prize is given, it would be a 5 star event! read more

Service was impeccable!! Atmosphere was amazing. Food was horrible. You only have 2 choices and both were not good. Ended up having a hair in the only thing that I was eating. Our server was so wonderful. He apologized profusely, and offered me a cheese pizza, which I gladly accepted. I was expecting a little cheese pizza that I'd be able to share with my daughter because she has gotten the allergen box (she doesn't eat meat and that was the only option) and it was not appetizing at all. When the server arrived with my cheese "pizza," it was a slice of cheese pizza from Pizza Planet. One slice. So the desserts that came with my original meal were taken when my food was taken because of the hair. This experience was $70 a person. I had one slice of pizza for that. With all that said, the experience was amazing. Being able to watch the fireworks from the comfort of your own table, with blankets and all you can drink, made it worth it. Would I do it again? They don't make it very clear that seating may be inside or out. The whole point of this experience is for the views of the park while you eat. We were sat inside at a tiny table with very uncomfortable chairs. They do say that sitting outside is not guaranteed, but it is at the very end of the description. The food was no better than a school lunch and be prepared to get dinner somewhere else. You will leave hungry. Definitely the most disappointing experience we've ever had at Disney. read more

The website and app are very vague on what to expect and if I had known more, I definitely would not have made a reservation or paid $70 per person. The premise is basically your own reserved table that you have access to from the start of your reservation until 10pm, in which you can come and go as you please. Unless you get the first available reservation time, you will be sitting outside. Tonight was chilly and the space they have dedicated is right in the windy spot. The food is basically a lunchbox that is not palatable to most kids. And for $70, it's hard to please adults as well. The perk is you get unlimited sodas... For $70. Disney should take this one as loss and either shut it down so more people don't waste their money, or do a big improvement to the concept. read more

Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge opened Memorial Day weekend and is located on the balcony of the Tomorrowland Expo Center, this was introduced as a new way to experience seeing the fireworks. There are World of Color Dining Packages, World of Color Dessert Party, MSEP Dining Packages and then there is the Skyline Lounge which I think is supposed to be along the same lines as the others. This experience is of course an additional charge in addition to your park admission at a price of $45 per person. It's from 8pm-10pm with the fireworks usually showing at 9:30pm or 9:45pm, however fireworks aren't always guaranteed due to weather conditions and there are no refunds if the fireworks are cancelled. This price allows you to spend two hours in the lounge with in and out privileges, a box of various treats, unlimited beverages and let's not forget there are games you can play, light sabers and all seating is equipped with phone charging stations. Towards the second half of the evening Mickey and Minnie arrive to take pictures, mingle and if your lucky Mickey might play Jenga with you. This was a nice touch and some good one on one time with the characters. The food offered here was a box of 6 items: Mickey Cloud Cake, Chocolate Eclipse, Coconut Comet, Planetary Pie, Moon Rocks and Grapes. I had already read several reviews about the food and I went in expecting the worst. The Moon Rocks (cheese and crackers) was THE best item in the box and there definitely should have been more of that. I also really liked the Mickey Cloud Cake, it was fluffy, moist and the cream inside was good and I also enjoyed the Planetary Pie it was a cherry pie but it was soft and decadent. I only ate half of the items out of the box and ended up throwing the rest out, as did many other people there. I think if there was more of a variety of savory items instead of almost everything being sweet then it would have been a hit. Or maybe switch up the items, have two options and let people choose which one they like. The ambiance here was great there was lots of seating, neon lights, everybody was mingling with each other and just having a good time. The cast members were very nice and attentive and also mingled with the guests and this was appreciated. During my visit we did get to see about half of the fireworks, in my honest opinion that was the best spot to see the fireworks if you don't care about seeing the projections on the castle (which I've seen a few times already), the sound was working fine and it was just amazing having the good of a spot to get a wonderful view and good shots of the fireworks. If the price was lowered and different food options were offered I would go again. I would recommend if you want a different experience and don't want to have to fight the crowds to get snacks or a good spot for the fireworks than you might want to check this out. We did this with our 5 year old for the experience this past Labor Day. It was cool because the desserts and drinks were Halloween-themed; but would we do it again? Most likely no, unless it was greatly improved. I would rate it between a 3 and 3.5 at best. I think they have a few things to work on especially when they are charging $89 a person. First & foremost, like other reviewers mentioned, one must order the food across the way at Galactic Grill and then carry it all on a tray through the crowds of people back to the terrace. At the cost per person, we should be able to order from our terrace table to have it brought up to us. The food was surprisingly good. My dude got the crispy pork bowl over rice, I got the pot roast Philly, and our 5 year old got the pasta bake. Each got a dessert of either the chocolate mousse brownie or the raspberry mousse tart. Both desserts were richly too sweet that we just had a few bites and were completely done. The meal also came with a choice of drink with a glow cube. The blood orange slush was a little too sweet, but the pineapple jalapeño limeade was tart & tangy with a nice kick to it. You do get unlimited drinks but there wasn't a huge variety. It includes Topo Chico, ginger ale, coffee, hot chocolate, and sodas. Each person also got a choice of a Darth Vader cup or Donald Duck Halloween sipper. Now the view of the fireworks from the terrace is great if you don't mind missing the light show and you just want a nice sit-down place to watch the fireworks away from crowds. However, our 5 year old complained that she wanted to see the fireworks over the Disney castle and the light show that went with it. You can only see the fireworks over the Matterhorn. So with all this being said, we were glad we tried it for the experience, but most likely would not do again unless it was improved. Don't do it! A total rip off. For $70 a person you get a box meal, they call a Bento Box, I would call it a public school field trip bag meal. There is NO entertainment, no heaters if you sit outside, no view of anything if you sit inside. Outside is unprotected western exposure, that must be very unpleasant in the Summer. The greet you nicely, but don't serve you anything, you have to stand in line at the "bar" to get your box meal and a soda or a sugary drink that is possibly the most disgustingly sweet beverage I have ever tasted. Only gets one star because I don't have the options of zero stars, or negative stars. I want a refund and an apology from Disney, neither of which will ever happen. read more

Guys I loved this place! I think it was totally worth the $45. We lined up behind a blue velvet rope and the attendant took their time and explained what was upstairs to everyone. They really try and make it special. We walked in and were given the dessert box. All the desserts were a Disney form of a hostess type of cake. Twinkie, ding dong, zinger. Grapes were great and that cheese spread was BOMB. It was super relaxing being up there. Having coffee and just lounging after a long day at the park. Mickey came by and took pictures with everyone! The cast members were so sweet and helpful. KEVIN WAS THE BEST!!! We had wonderful weather so we got to see the fireworks. The music is pumped into the speakers so you can hear all the sounds. You just can't see the projection on the castle itself. Also there were ZERO kids up there.
