I opted to try these folks as they were just inside the entryway of Sooner Mall. The "window front" was very appealing. Various tv's with various sports and a friendly atmosphere. I only wish they accepted appointments, you must take a number and wait. However, the wait is usually short. Over the last several years, I used a particular hairdresser at a hair salon. I went here a long time, and was generous with what I let them do to my hair. I'd always tip, even when it looked like garbage. I went there long enough to know it's unreliable in quality, overpriced, and on occasion a very toxic environment (more so recently).

Today I told a different guy what I wanted but he ended up giving me something else. I asked for a zero on the sides and fade higher than a mid fade. He first gave me like a 2 flat on the sides then asked if my sorry excuse for a taper was fine. He then kinda gave me what I wanted. I had to keep asking for things and at that point I just look like the picky customer rather than the victim. When he used the blade he gave me pointers . I didn't even ask for that. I'm probably just going to have a friend trim the top off because im not satisfied with it.

But hands down, the best part about the visit was getting to snuggle with Floyd, the owner's sweet little dog. He's the coolest, most laid back, smart and sweet little guy. I passed almost an hour just petting him and having him sleep on my lap. Tyler takes his time and gives an awesome cut.
