Dr. Vaimakis Placed expired Obalon balloons in me, Told me Obalon didn't train her about the…read moreexpiration date, however, every balloon comes with directions that include an explanation of the expiration date. As well Obalon assures me she was trained properly. Beyond that, she's a Doctor and the Obalon uses a universal medical equipment symbol with the expiration date. Vaimakis also told me that Obalon reps told her that there was no added danger to using the expired balloons, Obalon assures me they never told her that. Vaimakis gave me options of a refund or removal and replacement. As I no longer trust her I wanted the refund, and I wanted her to provide me with another Dr to remove them. however now she is claiming to have never even offered the refund. I record my phone calls, and I have her offer recorded (multiple times). I did a Charge Back, and her office challenged it, so now I am forced to fight their challenge. Expired Gastric balloons are dangerous and can result in serious medical problems and even death. She doesn't seem to care. this has been both physically and extremely emotionally damaging for me. The stress her "mistake" has caused me has had real ramifications in my life. She was required to dispose of the expired balloons and buy new ones, it is my understanding they cost the Doctors about $1000 per balloon. I am currently looking for a new Doctor to do the removal that I already paid Vaimakis for. I've tried to contact her, but she is "never available". now since I've called back several times trying to reach her, she has emailed me demanding a stop trying to call her office. If you actually care about your own well being, In my opinion, you should find a different Dr.

The problem was with me is that a regular diet couldn't help me. when your taking medications it slows down your the way you burn off calories. She basically put you on the regular diet and cutting down calories which i followed with exercise but no weight loss. Not her fault in that way needed more of a work up.
