The locals seem to really frequent the place and often stop by for lunch, or to meet friends over a bite. You will find, at a premium price, excellent cuts of cod, salmon, halibut and crab in their freezers. Pacific Cod Fish and Chips: I found the cod to be absolutely fresh, knowing very well that it was caught in local waters. Three pieces were served up with fries and two plastic containers of tartar sauce. I was absolutely full and happy with the fish, despite the outside lacking a crispy texture. Why? Because it was the freshest fried fish I had in a while. The fries were a little too salty for my liking, but they were nice and warm for a cold day in Petersburg. Their hours are restricted, closing up around 2:30pm in the day, so you may want to see this as your lunch spot. It is connected to the fish processing place, which is their bread and butter and secondly a place to eat. I would certainly come back for the friendly and quick service, and to support a small business in town.

I have been a number of times now and nothing I've had has been bad; it's all delicious. They have all the food presented deli style and whoever is working the front is helpful in letting you know what they have available. Some food sells out quickly, but there's always something for everyone. It's a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor seating (when it's nice out). If you're in a rush it's easy to pick what you want and head out since everything is premade. Would highly recommend!

That said, their ingredients are invariably quite fresh and cooked really well. The baked goods on their own are 5 stars, with perfect textures and flavors when fresh (they decline a bit with just a few hours of time).
