I called yesterday to make an appointment for my son, they said come in there's 3 barbers we can take you now. Great, we get there within 10 min and we're told to come back in 3 hours they're booked. Ok no problem, i go online make an appointment on Booksy for the next day, for 1pm with Gio. We arrive by 12:55 no Gio. Ok cool let's give him 5 min the appt is not until 1. 1:10 still not there, ok great, we go grab food come back at 1:25 barber is in back finally takes my son at 1:30. We show 4 photos of how we wanted his hair. Gio CHOPPED off my sons hair into who the fk knows what kind of hairstyle. It's 1/2 inch long in the front and the back is about 4 inches longer. We're obviously not happy, every barber turned their heads when my husband expressed his concern and not a single one jumped in to try and fix my sons hair. They let us leave like that. I called and asked for someone to fix it, they told me to come back at 3 and they'd fix it so we did and another barber did the best he could to fix it but it obviously has to now grow out. What a disaster of an experience. My son is 13 and we're new to the area and now He's completely embarrassed to go to school. Thanks a lot If you go thru their Booksy reviews they were 5 stars until Gio came along they're only 1 star reviews are about Gio. I used to go to a regular chain for haircuts and this was definitely an upgrade! I made a reservation online for Frank and throughout the appointment He really took the time to make sure that my hair looked great and I received plenty of compliments at my job! The cut is about $30 and it includes complimentary beverages and drinks which I think is beyond fair. I had to use the restrooms and they were very clean as well, so that's a plus. I went back for a second cut and received the same treatment and am already looking forward to my next cut! They also offer other treatments such as face-masks which am also considering for my upcoming visit! read more

Out of a 5 stars average for almost every barbershop I've ever been to, I would say I'd give all those places a solid 4 stars. Because none have been 5 stars in my opinion, and all have been less than 4 stars for sure. When I come to a barbershop, I expect many of things to go MY WAY, since I am the customer and if I'm paying my hard earned cash for a service that will enhance my overall appearance, you best believe I will take note of every step taken to satisfy my expectations. I've recently come into contact with Master Barber Alejandro in reviews and mutual friends who have visited him before , and I decided to give him and this barbershop a try. Alejandro greeted me first, shook my hand and welcomed me to their Barbershop. He offered me a drink, and basically made me feel at home. Then as I sat in his chair he asked me what is it that I looking to do for of my haircut today, I told him what I was trying to achieve, and he understood what needed to be done. After countless spot check s and countless conversations about life and hour later, I was done. When he spun the chair around and let me see this GLORIOUS haircut that YOU would of thought was photoshopped by picture to be quite honest. I had a grin on my face that I haven't grinned in years! (And I'm being very serious), this haircut was remarkable, mind blowing (to some extent). I never knew I could get such a haircut, I never knew my hair could look this good! This man deserves an OSCAR for his performance as a Master Barber. I would travel back to Miami from wherever I'm at to get my haircut exactly how I need it. I've already booked him for every major event in my life as my Master Barber. This review is for George! MY son and I had just moved to the area and I found this place on yelp, I called and they got me in right away... I walked in an George greeted me opening the door for us, He was so friendly and welcoming! So was everyone else in the shop! It's in a nice little shopping center and very quiet. Normally when we walk into barber shops everyone is stand offish and keep to them self's with loud obscene music blasting... not appropriate for children so 9/10 we end up leaving, BUT not this place! It's very kid friendly plus they have a coffee bar for tired momma haha! George took his time and perfected my sons hair cut while also being very patient. Thank you George! Ah, the Tonsorial Parlor... I only wear a beard for about 3 months of the year and this is my go to shop. Its nice, clean, the guys are really great, located in Aventura and really try to make a difference. Love their dedication to the customer, the atmosphere they create, and the way my beard looks when I walk out of there. Try the facial... Will waste your time. Michael lack of communcation with scheduling system has me sitting for 1.5hr plus for appointment. Then takes other customer - left on Friday no haircut and middle of day wasted. Very frustrating. If you can't walk in AND you don't respect your appointments, what are we doing? Definitely a 5 star experience! I've been to many barbershops where I walk in , and nobody pays me any attention. I like that as soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted and offered a beverage. All the guys in this shop were dressed very nice and you can tell they were very professional . The best barbershop I have ever been to. Dylan is the most knowledgeable barber I have met. We spent an hour talking about the different composition of shampoos, conditioners, and their effect on balding. As a balding man, I found this very enlightening. I was able to get a cut and shave. The cut was on point. Perfect fade and nicely trim up top. The shave was so smooth, and relaxing. A nice touch is the complimentary beverage. That was a pleasant surprise. Place is nice and clean. The people that work here are friendly. Called to make an appointment and was told to book online. Website was down so I called back and a young girl answered and told me to just come in. Final haircut looked to be satisfactory until we got home and the product the barber put in my son's hair wore off. Despite showing the barber 4 pictures and given explicit directions of what to and what not to do, he still did whatever he wanted. I asked that he leave the sides long so we could comb the sides back. I asked him not to buzz or fade the sides, and that he leave the top growing out long, just a trim... 1st thing homie does is bust out a buzzer.... takes the bottom and the sides right down. He cleaned it up nice but not at all what I specifically instructed. On the top, he left a huge chunk longer than the rest, so my son has a side tail on his head. WTF. It's obvious unless you're going for a fade and not a proper or traditional haircut, you should go some place else... unless you just need a free shot of whisky with your jacked up cut. read more

Had my first cut here and Alejandro did a great job!! Warm and welcoming to customers, top notch service and fantastic cut! He took his time, made sure I was comfortable and is a straight up perfectionist. One thing he made sure was he was cutting it the way I wanted, gave me a hot shave and cold towel, nothing like it!!!!! This place just lost a loyal customer of over THREE years... I cut my hair pretty often and have never had an issue but one of the barbers did the worse job, kept on talking the entire time (with another customer) and made the haircut last over 1:20 HOURS, all because of the talking. He "shaved" my face in patches, didn't even bother to style it after and filled (and I mean FILLED my face with hair). I was in Miami for one day and thought I would get a haircut. I checked all of the reviews on Yelp and made a 5:30 PM appointment with Alex. I arrived at 5 PM (I had some time to kill and thought I would observe). 530 came and went and he still had the same guy in his chair as when I arrived. This gentleman's head and beard were basically bald (I couldn't see any hair anywhere) but Alex kept doing more and more clipper work that was literally not visible. Then, at 5:45, it looked as if he was finally finishing up and I was going to get my turn, but instead he reclined the barber chair and was going to perform more services on him. I got up and politely told the young lady at the desk that I was leaving. Alex stopped me and said that he was sorry but this gentleman decided he wanted a facial. He offered to call me when he was done with this man and I gave him my phone number. I never heard from him. I'm female and not young. I often go to barbers for my haircut and I'm not averse to having to wait. This experience made me feel as if this might have been done on purpose to avoid doing my hair. This review is solely for the barber, the shop was fine. This is my first time visiting this shop. On Friday. I was greeted by one of the barbers and offered refreshments which was nice. After approximately 15 minutes, Junon, I believe was his name, approached me as my barber and began his sloppy work. Worked to fast and careless. At the end of the cut he rubbed a hair glue to lay my hair back flat. I went home and washed out the crap and noticed a mess! I returned on Saturday and my mistake was to let this guy screw it up even more. This was without a doubt the worst hair cut I have ever had. 10 years experience he says. I doubt that. I am extremely upset that now my hair looks worse then ever. Junon, perhaps a refresher course is what you need. read more
