Very disappointed. Ordered five very expensive custom framed mirrors for three different rooms…read more Delivery took much longer than was originally promised. Then despite the exact sizing being on the invoices, 4 of the 5 mirrors arrived with the incorrect sizes. I don't expect something like that from a professional. Todd did not want to redo the master bathroom mirrors. I would have expected someone wit integrity to have been embarrassed and to take responsibility and correct his mistakes. That didn't happen. Instead after some back and forth, we arrived at a compromise whereby he would discount several other items in exchange for the mistakes. Several weeks went by, we decided we didn't want to live with the master bath mirrors over sizing, and asked Todd to redo them, fully understanding we would have to pay for them to be redone, annoying as that is. Todd opted out on redoing any further projects in the house. I cannot recommend someone who doesn't do work correctly from the get-go, and then refuses to provide further work. I could not have been more polite or accommodating to Todd and this behavior is baffling. Basically this was a waste of my time and money. I think good work and good customer service looks different from this, and the above describes the lacking points in my experience with Elilott Frame.

The last print was to be picked up in person, instead they shipped and did not notify me. It was stolen. The replacement print was delivered damaged. Julia Christopher brought a police officer to my home, claiming insurance fraud. It was not, and the gallery refunded my payment. Julia, while in my home, was incredibly rude, making absurd accusations all of which were refuted by the police officer (also there in person). I communicated my experience with Carol, then the owner, who apologized and supported the immediate refund. I would never shop at this gallery again, nor would I recommend it to any photography lover. This morning as I was looking at one of the prints I purchased from them I was reminded of this terrible experience and the treatment from Julia and felt compelled to write a review- especially when I saw that Julia now the owner.

It was our final stop and where we purchased a lovely scenic painting by Sheryl Night. We took it home and instantly realized we wanted to commission another piece for our art wall. After a month or two, we received a beautiful piece made to our specifications. There are less expensive, galleries, and there are much more expensive galleries in Carmel. However, we felt immediately at home with Nancy Dodd, and loved the artwork she carries. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the market for artwork.
