The aftermath 1 hour later from me posting this: was any discount shouldn't affect the quality of the work the customer expects, secondly why would you place the same person who screwed up to do it again when he said "if I do it again it will come out the same way," third you failed the warranty why would I ever trust Mad Guy Auto Detailing again. The job took a few hours, and I was told to wait 2 weeks before rolling down the windows or touching the tint. I am super pleased with the work. First, it's really dark, and the privacy is greatly improved (see attached pics). Second, the tint I got also have UV and Infrared blocking flilm, so my car is SO much cooler in the summer now. I'm saving fuel efficiency by not running the AC so hard now. The guy who did the tint did an awesome job and was very patient and knowledgeable when answering all my questions. No complaints whatsoever. Note: I had the tint done around the end of 2022. I think something happened to the guy who did my tint because MGA is at the time I write this looking for an employee to do tints. (I'm waiting to do my F-150 with Mad Guys.) All in all, I'm very satisfied. The pricing is good. I paid $275 (including tax) for the work on my focus. I was quoted $285 for the same job on my truck. That's a good deal for the results. I'd like to see more clarity in the packages and services offered. That being said, I can say that without a doubt the service itself was upstanding and extremely professional. When they arrived they notified me that they only had 1 person to do the job instead of the 2 people which they state they typically arrive with. The gentleman who arrived was on time, stayed beyond the expected timeframe to ensure that there was nothing overlooked. I was impressed by this as my initial experience so felt a bit lacking. I'd certainly say that services provided seemed fairly priced and the service received was certainly to expections. I'd recommend them to my friends and family and will certainly consider doing business again in the future.

From the moment I booked the appointment, Isaiah was professional, communicative, and extremely detailed in explaining the entire process. What truly sets him apart is that he came directly to my house, handled everything from start to finish, and made the entire experience effortless and stress-free. We had two vehicles done -- a 2025 Subaru and a 2024 Expedition Limited -- and both received their 3-Year Ceramic Coating Service. Isaiah took his time prepping each vehicle meticulously: detailed hand wash, foam bath, bug removal, clay bar decontamination, wheel and rim deep cleaning, and a full isopropyl alcohol wipe-down to perfectly prep the surface for the coating. I only got as far as getting a quote for a minor repair, to fix a couple of scratches that appeared…read moreafter a visit to Walmart. I found PDM online and saw that have mostly positive reviews. Some people have had good experiences with them. Based on the packed parking lot their business is booming, which is usually a good sign. PDM offers a free quote online by submitting information, pictures and a video of the damage. But I was in the area and decided to stop by just to see if someone could give me a ballpark figure of cost and repair time to have an idea of how to prepare and schedule a repair. The young lady at the reception area was cute, but could not tell me anything helpful except that an in person estimate would cost me $50. So I thanked her for that and opted to go with the online estimate. From the website you request the online estimate tool and it sends a link to your phone. Use the link to access the online estimate app. The app does not download to your phone; you just access it from your phone as it will guide you in taking pictures and video they need. A picture is worth a thousand words. Have your car make, model, year, and VIN number handy as that helps them to identify specific paint colors and other necessary information. I found a couple other competitors that also offer online estimates and got quotes from all of them. All of the businesses which provided me quotes have excellent reviews and look professional as far as I can tell. PDM's estimate was $1,300.00, over twice the cost of any of the others (who all came below $600). Most of the cost is labor. I understand some difference in price, but that is ridiculous. It's like choosing between two great quality name brand products, and the only difference is one has a designer couture name, so it sells for 220% more. So suffice it to say I will choose another option. If your insurance is going to pay repairs, perhaps it may be an option for you (depending on your deductible), but it was not for me. It pays to shop around.

After a few days, I did not get a response. I contacted them by phone asking for the estimate. A few days later, I was given an estimate and I agreed over the phone to the amount. I was told to bring the vehicle by for more pictures so they could make sure the estimate was accurate. I brought the vehicle by and a gentleman named Mark took detailed pictures and said he would be sending me an updated estimate by the end of the day. Did not get estimate. One week later I reached out again asking for my estimate and I was told I'd have it by the end of the day. Did not get estimate. Based on other reviews I've read..this company charges almost double the other repair companies in the area are charging. It seems to me this company would rather do insurance claims. Taking my business elsewhere.
