The alfresco seating area lining the entrance of the Coffee Lounge is modest and so small it is often overlooked. But walking through the door, you're welcomed into a expansive area that really does deserves to be called a lounge. If it weren't for the odd tables of people chattering away in the corner, I would feel it were my own lounge room.
Gentle "cafe music" washes over you as you sink into the soft brown armchairs, and you're lulled into blissful serenity with the whirl of ceiling fans above. The barista today was friendly and offered to bring the coffee to my table, even though he was the only staff member working.
Paintings and black and white photographs cover the wall space, all of which boast price tags. So not only do you receive a caffeine hit (fantastic coffee at that), but some art work to boot. With free WiFi, all day breakfast and complementary newspapers, it's easy to settle in for the day. read more
