It's a hidden gem tucked behind No Frills and between a Jewish Day Care centre and boutique store. When I got lost I couldn't even contact them via email or phone to ask them to instruct me where to go. There is no email or a phone line that connects you to the staff. Only a website to book through. I had Hanna and I highly recommend her. She came here about a year ago from Ukraine so she isn't able to fully express herself in English. But she had a great attitude and attention to detail. Also she's great at taking photos of my nails and helped me choose a colour today. I loved how the sparkly milk colour turned out. I texted them to check in, and they let me know there'd be a delay, so I just waited around by the Shoppers next door. It seemed like the staff all carpooled and arrived a bit late to open together. Another downside was that the polish colours at least for shellac seemed pretty limited. I was hoping to find a nude, translucent shimmer but couldn't quite get the look I had in mind, so I just went with the closest option. One of my thumb nails didn't cure completely flat, but it's not super noticeable, and I'm not too picky given the price is on the lower end. If you're looking to get your mani and pedi done at a reasonable price, this is a solid option. For special occasions when I want my nails to be 100% perfect, I'd probably pay more and go elsewhere--but for regular maintenance, this place does the job.

My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. The whirlpool tubs have been replaced with plastic tubs and they change a liner with each use. Not environmentally friendly, but clean. The cost is about half what I would pay in a high end spa, and my expectations are adjusted accordingly. There is no set receptionist and the aestheticians take turns answering the phone, so sometimes you will be mid pedi and they will have to take the phone. Lots of mother and daughter pairs and the occasional man in here. Kids pedis are circa $20 and they usually do a fun design on the big toes for them. They also do inexpensive waxing with strip wax in the back rooms.
