I went to Top KBBQ tonight with my mom, and this place is always consistent and awesome. I haven't been to Top Korean BBQ in quite some time because I moved to another part of town, but when we were waiting for a table, Amy remembered me and said hi. She made things really easy for us - my mom is in a wheelchair, so bringing her to restaurants can be challenging, especially a KBBQ spot, which has big grills in the middle of the table. They had an open 8-person table, but she decided to give us the table so it would be easier for mom even though we were only 2 people and it was a Friday night during dinnertime. We really appreciated that. The food was good as usual! We kicked it off with Bulgogi, but TBH I usually just stick to Brisket, because it's easy to cook and comes out perfect. We love the salads here! Salads at a KBBQ?! Yup, the flavor is so legit. I like to mix the house salad + green onion salad, because it has sprouts in there too. The sweet vinegar flavor with Korean spice is such a good flavor. Instead of eating rice, I just eat brisket with salad. So good! Also, we love the Melona ice cream they give you for dessert! I've been a regular at Top KBBQ, usually visiting once a month or every other month with a small party, and I've never had any issues until this visit. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by our assigned individual, Kevin. When Kevin greeted and seated us, his tone was immediately off-putting. He looked at my child and bluntly said, "put him against the wall," with no courtesy or basic politeness. It came across as dismissive and unnecessarily harsh; first impressions matter, and this one set the tone for the rest of the visit. I understand you must be hurting for the $14.99 that is probably be around your hourly wage but seriously? Throughout the entire time, Kevin appeared disengaged and had a noticeable attitude, as if he didn't want to be there. He rarely checked on our table, and when he did, his approach came off as rude at one point asking "what do you want" in a tone that felt unprofessional. He also used inappropriate language while speaking to another staff member in front of my toddler, which was especially disappointing. This kind of behavior should never be happening but definitely not public facing. However, I'm almost glad it happened because it clearly shows the type of employee he is. Everyone has off days, but choosing to bring that kind of attitude to work especially in a customer service setting is the wrong place and time for it. Leave your lack of self development where your lack of personality is at the door. In contrast, Alex T truly stepped in and provided excellent service. He was attentive, kind, and consistently checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite it being a moderately busy Monday, Alex handled everything efficiently and professionally. It honestly felt like he was our actual server. It was also disappointing to see Kevin's attitude toward his own colleagues, especially when they were picking up his slack. Having felt they had no choice to put up with him and his attitude towards them because he is " Korean " like the owner. That kind of behavior not only affects the team but the entire dining experience. To be honest, this is the first time I've ever had an issue like this in terms of respect, which makes it stand out even more. If you're going to ask "what do you want," at least bring the energy to match the job title server, not spectator. I also made sure the gratuity reflected the service we actually received Alex was the one who earned it. As I was very vocal about it. I'm sharing this because I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and have had great experiences in the past. I hope management from the two managers who were not present and owner addresses this, as it was both unprofessional and disappointing. Food and beverage wise , we only had water, portions were decently ok , corn cheese could have been better and better portioned. Affordable Korean BBQ in the Henderson/Green Valley Area. I chose Top Korean BBQ, not only because I like Korean BBQ but also because it was a five-minute walk from my hotel. As a veteran of many, many visits to Las Vegas, I often eat off the strip to try new restaurants in different areas of the city. Top Koren BBQ is located right off Sunset Road in a collection of shops, businesses and restaurants. I was seated quickly on my visit, and after a long drive through the desert from SoCal, I was hungry. Top Korean BBQ had good reviews, and I decided to check it out. The staff is young but attentive, as it only took a few minutes for me to get seated and to start eating. My server, Austin, was on point and walked me through their most popular meats and dishes to try. I ate quite a bit of classic AYCE dishes, and I tried their version of Kimchi stew. They don't serve as much Kimchi with the meal as some other Korean BBQ places do, but I was there for the meat anyway. I ate from the premium menu, and the food was great, and the dishes came out fast when I needed them to. The place is packed but the service is good. The food also tasted so good especially the shrimp tempura and the takoyaki is bomb. Service unfortunately was why I give them 2 stars. Our server, soyeon (sp?) was basically absent the whole time. We had to literally stand up 2 times to find someone to help us. When she brought dishes to our table she dropped them, shoved dish's around and walked away. She seemed very rushed, annoyed and unfriendly. She never asked us if we were ok, if we needed anything (unless we asked for her and she came to our table then she asked what we needed), how things were, etc. My sister actually got up once walked up to her as she was leaving another table and asked if she could help us. We arrived around 8:30 PM and were seated by 9. We went with Tier B (the second-highest option) and overall had a good first experience here. One thing that stood out was the seafood pancake being included in the AYCE menu -- not many places offer that, so it was a nice bonus. A must dine if you're in Vegas! We just landed from SEA and luckily my nephew recommended this late night place to dine at. Definitely worth the price. We started off with sides - jalepeno bombs (party in your mouth), rice, kimchee (best we've ever had), corn cheese (recommend you mix it into your bowl of rice if you want to continue partying in your mouth), seaweed salad, tempura shrimp...The meats were all fresh. Everything was delicious, everything! Our favs were the marinated pork belly & rib-eye steak. Waiter was amazing and very patient (I haven't eaten KBBQ in YEARS and had lots of questions). The booths are big and comfy with high backs so it feels private, good k-pop playing and just enough ambient noise that you can't hear every word being spoken, again a nice level of privacy without need of a private room. Aside from all the normal kbbq items, I was able to get so many good side dishes that I don't get at other kbbq places. They have more of my favs than any other spot I've been to - Tako/octopus wasabi, real crab legs ramen, scallion salad, toasted rice porridge, steamed egg, fried spicy rice cakes, all the flavors of Melona bars you could ever ask for! Very nice to know this is another company from a place that does sushi right, Top Sushi. Ambiance is like a normal kbbq place but the food is top notch! This was by far the worst dining experience we've ever had, and it completely ruined what was meant to be a Christmas gift from my daughter. We had 7 people total dining, seated at separate tables, yet when the bill came we were shocked to see that the restaurant wrote down 14 people and added an extra $65 charge to our bill. Our total came out to $345, which my daughter paid as a Christmas gift for our family. There was no explanation, no attempt to clarify, and no accountability when we questioned it. This was not only unfair, but extremely upsetting--especially since we had planned on leaving a generous tip. Instead of feeling grateful, my daughter left in tears and I left feeling awful. Overcharging customers and inflating party size is unacceptable, dishonest, and unprofessional. We will never return, and I strongly advise others to check their bill carefully before paying. read more

We don't have many Korean BBQ spots around here, and I found this place to be better than the ones nearby. They have three different AYCE options and all of them offer decent selections. Their appetizer list is wide-ranging and although my husband always tells me not to order too much appetizers, I went ahead and tries almost everything HAHAHA I'm glad they offer cold noodles, it's one of my favorite Korean food and it's perfect on a hot summer day. The best way to have cold noodles is eating it with marinated galbi, something about the sweetness from the galbi and the cold, tanginess of the cold noodles create a harmony inside your mouth. The soups (also on the menu as hot pot) aren't bad, they aren't as flavorful as you would have it at other Korean specialty restaurants but they are good. In my opinion the kimchi soup is a tab bit better than the soybean paste soup. Service is a hit or a miss...Some servers are very friendly and nice and some are just not having a great time. This was honestly one of the worst KBBQ experiences I've had in terms of service. From start to finish, it felt like we were completely on our own. Empty plates piled up with no one coming by to clear them, and eventually a server just dropped a service tray next to us--so we ended up bussing our own table. Not once were we offered drink refills, and the only way to get any service was to flag someone down. Even then, we had to follow up multiple times just to get an update on our shrimp tempura, which arrived over 30 minutes into the meal. There were no grill changes offered, no check-ins, and several of our orders were either missed or forgotten entirely. And to top it off, this was dinner at 4:30 PM with a half-empty restaurant.
