Fast service. Straightforward. No bs. I got seated as soon as I walked in and ordered within two minutes. My egg rolls came out piping hot less than 5 minutes later and my entree came out right after. I had the large meatball, tripe, and tendon pho. Both the egg rolls and pho were spot on. I had my two girls with me who are 2.5 years old and 8 months old while we waited for my wife's doctor appointment. It was decided dinner was better than the waiting room. With snow coming down nothing sounded better for lunch today than a piping hot bowl of pho! Having had Top Pho bookmarked for a while and being 8 minutes away from my school; I knew it was def my pick for lunch! ++ TONS of options on their menu, ranging from your typical pho and bun soups, to banh-mi sandwiches! ++ The crab cheese wontons are delish and packed full of crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, and fried to perfection. Yum!! ++ Super large portions! I ordered a small rare steak pho and could barely finish. Which is a shame because that broth is perfectly seasoned and beyond delicious! ++ Service is fast and efficient. What I've come to expect from pho restaurants in the area. ++ The space is pretty large. They can definitely accommodate any group size. Top Pho is a small place on Colfax, just a few blocks west of the Anschutz Medical Campus. The pho here is amazing. The broth is wonderfully seasoned. The portions of meat are good, and they always bring you plenty of veggies. What sold me on this place, though is the spicy beef. They used to include a small side of spicy beef with every bowl, but I think that's no longer the case. So I just go ahead and order some. I'm no pho expert, but my mom is, and she seems to agree that Top Pho is one of the best in the Metro Denver area. And if that's not a top-notch Yelp recommendation, then I don't know what is. While I've heard their spicy beef rocks, I usually feel out a new spot with a staple. Today was no exception. A medium-sized rare steak + well-done brisket came out in no time and I dug in. Broth--Flavorful, no nagging taste of anise. Add wheels of jalapeno to taste. 7/10. Meat--Respectable quality in a large portion. 8/10 Noodles--Not completely done at first, like a giant ball of yarn that eventually surrendered to my chopsticks. 6/10 Service--I sat just after a large table of eight, whose orders were taken first. I love Top Pho! The restaurant is simple, warm and comfortable. The service is always great, attentive and friendly. The Thai Tea with or without boba is exceptional, the mix they make is just how I prefer it. Most of the time I ask for little or no ice so it doesn't get watered down. I've wanted to try other items on the menu but I just have to get my usual number 22, the small size is just perfect and more than plenty for me but I have finished a medium! I love the flavor of the broth, it is spot on! I wish I knew what all goes into the broth that makes it so good, the broth is essential. I do add the hot chili sauce, lime, jalapeño, sprouts and some extra cilantro to compliment my delicious bowl of happiness. Top Pho is super interesting because they serve pho in a way that other places don't. They give you spicy moist beef slices as an appetizer that you can add to your pho broth to make it super spicy. I thought it was a cool touch but thought that their pho itself was subpar to Pho 888. I like the traditional pho options at Pho 888 more. My family friend who is Vietnamese and who has lived in the area for a long time comes here weekly. It is his favorite pho spot & so I had high expectations for it. The restaurant is smaller than Pho 888 but is slightly more modern inside. The owner seemed friendly & frequented my table a couple times during my meal. I ordered the medium-sized chicken pho with veggie broth. I have yet to find a pho restaurant with chicken broth in Denver, but the veggie broth will do. I was really happy with the quantity and quality of the food. They do get pretty busy in the evenings, even on weekdays, so I would recommend calling ahead. I will definitely be back! read more

They have noodles, rice, or Pho. Nobody at the table could finish their meal because the portions were so big.
