Don't book through Low Cost Rides if you're concerned about getting to the airport in time. I made…read morea reservation with them a few weeks before my trip, then had to adjust it a few days before. I never received confirmation on the changes - emailed them to check, but no answer. I was picked up at the airport on time, but halfway through the ride, I realized the driver was taking me to the wrong location - not the updated one I had sent them. I got to my new location fine, but still - not very professional. I had also arranged for Low Cost Rides to take me back to the airport when my trip was over. I called the day before to make sure they had my reservation - nope, they didn't. They added it to the calendar, though, and confirmed it with me. The next day, as I'm sitting and waiting for them to come get me, I called to make sure they were coming. Sure enough, he had put my pickup on the calendar for the wrong day. They rushed a (crappy) van to me and managed to get me to the airport on time, but it wasn't worth the anxiety about missing my flight at all. The one thing I can say as far as customer service goes was that they did not charge me for the second ride...but still, not worth it. I would spend the extra few bucks and use a better company, or just rent a car from the airport.

It was 5 am and it wasn't the driver's fault--given the early hour and the pandemic, I tipped him. This year I tried to use the service again and made a mistake on the online form. They sent an email the following day asking me to "review my information as something was amiss". I could not see the form I had submitted so I called them thinking I could simply read them the correct info. The person who answered was irritated from the start and became ruder and ruder with every bit of credit card info I gave him, interrupting me to say "that's mistake number 2, that's number 3" followed up with admonitions about how they were a very precise business and required accuracy. As much as I did not want to ask a friend to drive me to the airport at 5 a.m I simply could not allow the verbal abuse to continue so I told him we were done and asked him to cancel the reservation. Immediately after that I was treated to a barrage of hostile and rude texts with screen shots of our correspondence in which my mistake tally went up to 5 and my memory was called into question. I asked the man to stop texting me and he did not. He threatened to drag my name through the internet, and made other choice personal comments about my cognitive abilities complete with snarky emojis. He then insisted that I had used the service in 2018, not 2022, and that my memory was bad. In fact, I had booked the service in 2018 but cancelled because my neighbor said she would be happy to give me a ride. Total and complete bummer, super upsetting and somewhat threatening and creepy given that he has my address. So much for supporting local business--Uber or Lyft will work just fine.

We had a little "hickup" at our original pickup location. We accidentally got on the wrong bus. The issue was resolved at the first winery and Anthony had to leave the rest of our tour group at the BEST pizza place and drive back to the winery where we accidentally ended up. Then he drove the 2 of us back to the pizza place, re-ordered our pizza and the rest of our tour group was also accommodating by not rushing us.
